Chapter 1 - YOVA AND THE METEOR POWER

Yova awoke to the gentle sounds of nature surrounding him. On the planet Tiza, the air was crisp and fragrant, filled with the scent of blooming flowers and ripe fruits hanging from the trees. He smiled as he stretched, eager to greet the day. Life on Tiza was vibrant and full of happiness, with the sun casting a warm glow across the lush landscapes. The vibrant blues of the sky contrasted beautifully with the deep greens of the foliage, creating a picture-perfect morning. At just fifteen, Yova felt like the world was at his feet.

As he looked out his window, Yova's gaze traveled across the village, his home nestled in a valley surrounded by majestic mountains. The village was a tapestry of colorful huts, each adorned with intricate carvings that told stories of the ancestors who had lived there. Children played outside, their laughter ringing through the air like music, while adults tended to their gardens or shared tales over steaming cups of Tiza's famous herbal tea.

Yova threw on his favorite shirt—a bright green tunic that matched the fields—and rushed out the door. He could already hear the distant sounds of his friends calling for him. Today was a special day; it marked the annual Festival of Unity, a time when the villagers came together to celebrate their shared history and dreams for the future. Excitement bubbled within him as he made his way down the path, waving to familiar faces along the way.

"Yova!" shouted Lira, his best friend, as she raced toward him. Her braided hair bounced with each step, and her eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. "You're late! We're setting up the decorations!"

"Sorry, I got caught up in my morning routine," Yova replied, grinning. "What do you need me to do?"

"Help me hang the banners! The whole village is counting on us to make it look amazing!" Lira exclaimed, leading him toward the town square.

As they reached the square, Yova was greeted by a flurry of activity. Villagers were bustling about, stringing colorful banners between trees and arranging stalls filled with food and crafts. The air was thick with the delicious scent of roasted fruits and freshly baked pastries, making Yova's stomach growl. He couldn't help but feel grateful for the community that surrounded him—people who had always supported one another through thick and thin.

"Yova, over here!" called out Aiden, another close friend, waving him over. "We're starting the games! Come join us!"

Yova exchanged a glance with Lira, and they both hurried over to where the games were set up. Competitions ranged from archery to foot races, and the atmosphere buzzed with excitement. The laughter and cheers of the villagers filled the air, creating a joyful symphony that lifted Yova's spirits even higher.

For hours, they played games, cheered for each other, and shared stories of their dreams. Yova felt a sense of belonging, a warm light in his heart as he watched his friends revel in the joy of the festival. He imagined himself as a great warrior one day, defending their village and inspiring others. The thought made him beam with pride.

As the sun began to set, casting golden hues across the sky, the villagers gathered for the final event—the storytelling circle. They settled around a large fire pit, the flames dancing and crackling, creating a cozy atmosphere. Elders took turns recounting tales of bravery, wisdom, and love, weaving a rich tapestry of their culture's history. Yova listened intently, soaking up every word, feeling an unbreakable connection to his heritage.

"Tonight, let's remember the bonds that tie us together," an elder began, his voice steady and calm. "In times of trouble, it is our unity that gives us strength. And as long as we stand together, we can face anything that comes our way."

Yova felt the weight of those words settle over him like a comforting blanket. He had always believed in the power of unity, and the thought of his friends and family standing together filled him with determination.

But as the night wore on and the stories flowed, Yova sensed a change in the air. The jovial atmosphere dimmed slightly as an eerie silence fell over the gathering. He looked up to the sky, noticing dark clouds gathering on the horizon. What had been a clear night was now turning ominous.

"Yova, look!" Lira exclaimed, pointing to the sky. "What's happening?"

Before Yova could respond, a low rumble echoed through the ground, vibrating beneath them. The villagers exchanged worried glances, the jovial mood shifting into concern. Suddenly, a blinding flash of light pierced the darkness, followed by a deafening roar that made the ground tremble.

"What is that?" Aiden shouted, his eyes wide with fear.

Yova turned his gaze back to the sky, where the dark clouds churned violently. A massive meteor, glowing with an otherworldly light, hurtled toward Tiza at an unimaginable speed. Panic erupted as villagers screamed and ran for cover. Yova's heart raced as he tried to find his family amidst the chaos.

"Run!" he yelled, adrenaline surging through his veins. "Everyone, run!"

The ground shook violently beneath them as the meteor descended, a terrifying force of nature. Yova's instincts kicked in, and he grabbed Lira's hand, pulling her along as they darted through the throngs of panicking villagers. He could hear the cries of fear and desperation, a cacophony that only fueled his resolve to get to safety.

They reached the outskirts of the village, where the trees swayed violently in the wind generated by the meteor's descent. Yova could feel its heat radiating toward him, the very air shimmering with energy. The meteor was almost upon them now, a brilliant ball of fire streaking through the sky, illuminating the night with a haunting glow.

As they stumbled to safety behind a massive rock, Yova glanced back, witnessing the meteor crashing into the earth with cataclysmic force. A shockwave erupted, knocking him off his feet. The world around him exploded into chaos, the ground shattering and trees uprooted as the impact sent debris flying in all directions.

"Yova!" Lira screamed, scrambling to find her footing.

He reached out, grabbing her arm just in time to pull her back as a large piece of stone flew past them. The ground rumbled ominously, and Yova's heart pounded in his chest as he struggled to comprehend the destruction unfolding before him.

Then, as if in slow motion, the meteor hit the ground. A blinding light engulfed the village, and Yova felt himself being lifted off the ground, a powerful force pulling him toward the sky.

"Yova!" Lira shouted, her voice drowned out by the chaos.

In that moment, everything faded into darkness.
