Since Odelia had been kidnapped by Vincent, she had always felt alert and uneasy because she was worried that he would send someone else to get her. Even to go shopping, Sean had to accompany her as well as his men who watched from a distance.
Her house was also heavily guarded to prevent it from happening again, but still the feeling of unease haunted her.
Even while sleeping at night, she had nightmares of Vincent touching her body in the cabin last week.
"Uhh... Please don't..." Her tears flowed because she felt scared seeing Vincent like that.
Sean always woke up in the middle of the night to calm her down. He pulled Odelia's waist closer to him then rubbed her head gently.
"I'm right here, Odelia. You don't have to be afraid," he whispered and kissed her forehead.
"Sean..." Her eyes opened, it seemed as if she was relieved to see him there for her. "I'm sorry, I woke you up again."
