When Samuel returned after buying the drinks he and Megan needed, he found that she was no longer at the table where he had left her. There was only the food they had eaten earlier without her there.
Of course it confused him, because he had no idea where Megan had gone. She hadn't contacted him by cell phone or mentioned that she might have gone to the bathroom earlier.
"Should I just wait? Maybe she did go to the bathroom for a while. But does she know where the bathrooms are around this festival venue?" he asked in confusion and tried to call the woman.
But the phone didn't pick up, and suddenly lost signal as if the phone was switched off. This made Samuel even more worried, especially since they were in a public place where there were a lot of people who could have done something to his girlfriend.
Feeling very worried, he tried to stay calm. Samuel went looking for Megan in the public bathroom there. Hoping that she was there.
