Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: A new City

After Akai and his companions had explored the impressive Umbrella base, he left Shiho in her new environment to settle in. The Red Queen, who served Akai for the security of the base, stood beside her. Before leaving, Akai turned to the AI with a friendly smile.

"From now on, I will call you Sora," he said. "It means sky—fitting for our nation and the freedom we all seek."

Sora slightly inclined her virtual head and responded with a gentle but determined voice, "As you wish, Akai-sama. I will carry this name with pride."

With a satisfied nod, Akai left the base to return to the government building. Upon arriving at his office, he decided to make a few changes. First, he took the comfortable office chair from his inventory and placed it behind his desk. The old chair went into his inventory, and with a light sigh, Akai sat down in the new chair. The comfort was unparalleled, and he felt this was the right place for him as the leader of his nation.

But there was still one thing that intrigued him: the turquoise special card. With growing curiosity, he drew it from his inventory and observed the shimmering light that surrounded it. A card of such rare quality promised something extraordinary, and Akai could feel the tingle of anticipation.

He activated the card, and the light flickered again. Before his eyes, a breathtaking vision appeared: a gigantic estate, surrounded by several buildings and amidst vast grounds. The centerpiece of the estate was a huge tree, hundreds of meters tall and wide. The tree towered like a natural palace over everything, and Akai immediately knew that this was a legendary site.

Before the image fully faded, Akai recognized what he had just summoned: a Pokémon society. His eyes widened as the details became clearer. The estate was home to countless Pokémon professors and trainers, all of whom had their own Pokémon. But that wasn't all. At the center of the massive tree lived Mew, the mystical Pokémon, and at its summit sat none other than Arceus, the creator god of the Pokémon universe.

Akai could hardly believe what lay before him. A society of millions of people—all Pokémon trainers and researchers—had emerged from the card. At the top of the researchers stood Professor Oak, one of the most famous Pokémon professors, accompanied by many other professors and experts from the Pokémon world.

A broad smile spread across Akai's face. Pokémon—these fantastic, loyal creatures—were not only a strength in themselves but would also be useful to his people in countless ways. The tree itself was a center of life and creation, where Pokémon eggs were produced, and it was the sacred place where Arceus and Mew resided. This discovery had the potential to change the future of his nation forever.

Akai didn't hesitate for a moment. He immediately stood up to find a suitable location for this enormous society. Accompanied by several advisors and security personnel, he flew about 100 kilometers from the capital to inspect the area. After a while, he decided on an ideal location—a large, expansive area that offered enough space for the millions of people the Pokémon society would bring. The city would be about 50 kilometers from the capital, which provided good proximity while also allowing enough space.

He used the card, and with a powerful glow, the Pokémon society began to materialize. The buildings rose from the ground, the giant tree majestically ascended to the sky, and around it grew a lively cityscape. The commotion caused by this sudden emergence was unmistakable, but Akai knew this was a significant moment for his nation.

He ceremoniously named this new city Pokémon City and announced it throughout the land. This city was now a new center for research, training, and cooperation between humans and Pokémon. The population of his nation, which had previously been just a few thousand people, suddenly grew to over a million.

After the city was built, Akai went directly to the heart of Pokémon City to meet Professor Oak and the other important figures of the Pokémon world. Upon entering the main building, he was greeted personally by Professor Oak.

"Welcome, Akai-sama," said the experienced professor with a warm smile. "It is an honor to meet you. We are ready to serve you and your nation."

Akai nodded respectfully. "The honor is all ours, Professor. With your expertise and the Pokémon at our side, we will achieve greatness."

As they spoke about the possibilities that this new community could bring to his nation, Akai suddenly felt a powerful presence nearby. The air seemed to stand still for a moment as two luminous figures entered the room: Mew, the playful, mystical Pokémon, floated lightly through the air, and behind it walked Arceus in dignified silence.

All the professors were shocked and overwhelmed when they saw Mew and Arceus. Most of them immediately took out cameras to take pictures and tried to analyze them from afar. Their eyes sparkled with excitement.

On the other hand, Akai was overwhelmed. Before him stood Arceus, the creator god of the Pokémon universe—a being of immense power, capable of creating worlds with a single thought. This was more than he had ever expected. In Arceus, he saw not only a divine presence but the strongest being this world had ever known, stronger than any Otsutsuki or self-proclaimed god of this world.

"Akai," spoke Arceus in a voice that was both powerful and calm, "I have been observing your world. You have something extraordinary here, but I see there is much war and suffering. Therefore, we, the Pokémon, will accompany you on the journey to bring peace to this world."

Akai knelt reverently before Arceus. "It is an honor to welcome your power and wisdom to our nation. Together, we will create something unique."

Arceus slightly inclined his head and then disappeared in a radiant light. Akai slowly stood up, his heart filled with confidence. With Arceus and the Pokémon at his side, he was now unstoppable.

Back in Pokémon City, Akai spoke at length with Professor Oak and the other professors about integrating Pokémon into his nation. He decided that every marine soldier would receive a Pokémon egg to develop a deep bond with a Pokémon that would support them both in battle and everyday life. However, it was important that people first learn more about caring for, training, and living with Pokémon.

Akai also decided to incorporate the knowledge about Pokémon into the curriculum of future schools. Pokémon would become a part of the daily lives of his citizens, and it was his responsibility to ensure that this knowledge was passed on to the next generations. He planned to appoint some of the Pokémon professors as teachers at these schools to ensure that the knowledge was directly passed on by the best experts.

With the new population and the Pokémon at their side, the construction of the school campus would progress faster, and the nation would soon flourish in a completely new era of progress and cooperation.

Akai looked over the now lively Pokémon City and the people who interacted and lived together with their Pokémon. The future of his nation was secured, and he knew that this was only the beginning.
