Finally, it was match day.
Ethan smiled as he entered the stadium, where the game was to be held. A cheer rang out from the law side at his appearance. There was still half an hour left until the match, and he wasn't in his ice hockey gear yet. He was in his deep blue jersey and held one more in his hand. He knew it would be a long shot with his beloved's pesky friends, but... that didn't mean he couldn't try.
Today was a pretty important and anticipated match—between the law and medicine departments. The audience was divided into two, though there was no rule about where to sit. Med students always sat on one side, and law on the other. It was... very competitive, especially during match season.
The law side was decked out in blue, holding blue banners, blue scarves, and the like—while the other side was in green. Ethan's eyes searched for his Yerik. He watched as he spotted the boy sitting in the stands with his friends, a green scarf around his neck. A contemplative expression rested on Yerik's porcelain-like face, his fluffy blonde hair half-hidden under the green scarf.
Ethan walked over to him, a charming smile on his face as he crossed into the medicine side, drawing glares from the med students like he'd just killed their dog or something. He plopped down beside the blonde boy, who was sipping on a latte, all bundled up. Adorable.
Ethan chuckled softly, shifting closer to him as he grabbed the corner of the green scarf Yerik was wearing. The law students nearby were collectively shooting dirty looks, and the medicine students' glares were even harsher. Some of them had their jaws dropped open, watching the captain of the law side talking to the med side's anatomy genius. Ethan's charming smile grew wider as he tugged on the scarf, forcing the blonde to look at him.
He chuckled at the sight of the pale boy sipping on his latte. Yerik looked so cute and cozy all bundled up in his fluffy dark grey coat with the scarf around his neck. Ethan smirked as he ruffled the boy's fluffy blonde locks.
"All cozy today, huh?" he teased. "I almost want to eat you up, sweetheart."
Ethan wrapped his arm around the boy, pulling him closer to his side. He smiled, watching the way Yerik's breath hitched from the contact. He found it adorable, especially when the boy's pale face started to turn red. Then Ethan tilted his head to the side, a smirk playing on his lips.
"You didn't tell me you were coming to watch the match, beautiful. Though you'd look even better in blue," Ethan mused, running his hand over Yerik's shoulder. He sneakily tried to place the jersey in Yerik's hands, taking the latte cup away and setting it aside.
"I think I look okay enough—" Yerik tried to refuse, knowing his friends would never let him hear the end of it if he did.
Ethan chuckled, a deep sound. He knew the boy was stubborn and would probably refuse to wear his jersey. Ethan didn't mind, though he would try to get him to wear it at least once. Leaning closer, Ethan wrapped a loose lock of the boy's blonde hair around his fingers.
"Oh? You look more than just 'okay' to me... beautiful fits you better. And wearing my jersey, now that wo
uld be a sight to see."
