My name is Victoria Agnes. I am the 4th daughter of the King of Mandeville. My mother, the queen cherishes me a lot as i am the last born. In the royal family, we were all born with powers, but unluckily for me, i was born without powers. In other to make me good at something, father put me in a swordsmanship academy because he said since i don't have powers, i might as well get skilled with swords. I learned for 10 years until i became fully skilled and graduated. My father was very proud of me and because of that when i turned 16 he organized a grand ball for me and that was the beginning of a massive change in my life.
"Victoria!! Tori!" I heard mum call as her foot steps approached my room.
"Victoria! What are you doing here? Your ball is in 2 hours and you aren't even getting ready"
"Relax, mum i just wanted to read a little before getting ready"
"Okay, now get up reading can wait, now it is time for you to get ready for your ball. Get up now, chop chop" Mother said as she ushered me up and out of the room.
I love my mother, she had always been there for me even though i had no powers. She had always wanted me to look my best and today was no exception. We had picked a dress before today. The dress was blue and was decorated with flowers and marbles.
"It looks gorgeous and beautiful just like you" Mother said when i tried on the dress, her eyes glistened.
"Tori! walk faster" Mother said and i realized i was too caught up in my own thoughts and didnt notice i was walking slow.
"Coming mother" I said as i walked faster to catch up with her
