"So... Rather than wasting time, we should begin our tour before meeting Lord Gon," Lilith said in a very gentle tone.
Kaizoku and Sylphy had no choice but to follow Lilith from behind.
"On the ground floor is the living room. As you can see, there are many long sofas arranged neatly."
Kaizoku and Sylphy were captivated by the beautiful and orderly details. This room was certainly different from the unkempt rear of the castle.
Ancient paintings and dark green carpets perfectly suited an Underworld castle owned by Lord Gon.
The room featured old bookshelves and white pillars that looked ready to collapse. Each pillar was surrounded by human bones topped with different animal heads.
A sweet fragrance like melons? Whatever it was, they could smell it throughout the room. The atmosphere felt very comfortable, making them want to linger.
"Well, it seems we've seen everything on the first floor. Please continue following me to the second floor."
Lilith walked to the spiral staircase located in the center of the living room, followed by Kaizoku and Sylphy, who were eager to see the other rooms.
After climbing the stairs for several minutes, they finally reached the second floor. Kaizoku and Sylphy were immediately struck by a pleasant aroma, like food ready to be served.
"Welcome to the second floor, the dining room. This is where we all rest and eat together, including Lord Gon."
Kaizoku and Sylphy saw a very long table covered with clean white cloth. The numerous chairs were clearly meant for many more people.
"As I mentioned before, I'm not the only servant here. So it's natural to have many chairs and long tables for all of us."
Green candle flames caught Kaizoku's attention. Fascinated, he approached the candles on the long table.
Sylphy could only watch Kaizoku's behavior in embarrassment.
Lilith smiled at Kaizoku's curiosity and continued speaking.
"This room is divided into two sections. The dining room and the kitchen to your left. Of course, we don't allow guests into the kitchen area as it's too messy to show."
Sylphy responded with an understanding expression.
"Oh, that's perfectly fine, we understand the situation, and we're not bothered. Please continue your explanation, we're enjoying it."
Lilith bowed her head politely, then continued her explanation.
"As I mentioned before, this room is the dining area for servants, attendants, and Lord Gon."
Lilith walked closer to the long table.
"The far left corner has Lord Gon's special seat. And we servants and attendants sit next to him all the way to the right corner."
Lilith paused briefly, then continued her explanation.
"We also have special chefs for Lord Gon. While we're not certain of the exact number of workers, we know there are 10 chefs working for Lord Gon's Kingdom of Gone. These chefs are certainly experts in their field, and they ensure no one can poison Lord Gon..."
A sharp stares into Sylphy's eyes. Sylphy saw Lilith's sharp gaze, but chose to remain silent and pretend not to see it.
