When Cerberus regained its focus, it charged at high speed toward Kaizoku and Sylphy.
"Sylphy! Throw me up!" Kaizoku shouted loudly.
Though hesitant at first, Sylphy had no choice but to comply as Cerberus rapidly closed in on them.
Gripping both of Kaizoku's legs, Sylphy spun around and launched him toward Cerberus with built-up momentum.
Kaizoku landed successfully on Cerberus's middle head and quickly plunged the sharp claw into it.
The stabbing attack caught Cerberus off guard, making it writhe in pain.
"Now, Sylphy!" Kaizoku shouted as he plunged the claw even deeper.
Sylphy immediately crouched into a starting position and sprinted up Cerberus's body for the second time.
She ran swiftly toward the middle head's eyes, passing Kaizoku who was still driving in the claw. Sylphy reached the flaming left eye and thrust her claws deep into it.
Cerberus howled in pain. As it thrashed its head, Kaizoku lost his balance and fell.
Seeing Kaizoku falling, Sylphy quickly withdrew her claws and moved to save him.
She caught Kaizoku in an embrace, using her body as a cushion for his fall.
"WHOA!!! LOOKS LIKE MARY SAVED HER PARTNER FROM THE FALL! THIS FIGHT IS MORE EXCITING THAN WE EXPECTED! DON'T MISS THIS LEGENDARY BATTLE!" The crowd's enthusiasm grew watching their fight.
Despite his pain, Cerberus counterattacked by attempted to stomp on Kaizoku and Sylphy who were still on the ground.
Seeing Cerberus's foot about to crush them, Sylphy quickly pushed Kaizoku aside, leaving herself to take the impact.
Kaizoku watched in horror and grief. "SYLPHY!!! NO... DON'T! DON'T DIE..."
Tears welled in his eyes, worried that Sylphy would die from being trampled by Cerberus just to protect his own life.
Through the scattered dust, Sylphy was visible, still resisting the stomp.
"Ggrrhhh... Shut up! I'm not dead yet!" she growled angrily, struggling to hold back the massive foot.
Blood ran down Sylphy's head - she had been struck but managed to hold up the enormous paw.
The wound triggered Sylphy's Bloodlust mode, multiplying her speed and strength several times over.
She lifted Cerberus's foot higher and then threw it upward with tremendous force.
Cerberus lost its balance and crashed to the ground.
"OHHHHHH!!!! THE OUTLAWS BROUGHT DOWN CERBERUS!? THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE'VE SEEN CERBERUS FALL!"
The spectators were stunned watching Sylphy topple Cerberus.
"GRRRHHH... ENOUGH WITH YOUR PITY, KAI. WE'RE NOT FINISHED YET." Sylphy's voice had changed dramatically, intimidating even Kaizoku.
She sprinted toward the fallen Cerberus, leaving behind a confused Kaizoku.
"No, no wait! Don't leave me alone!" Kaizoku answered while running after Sylphy from behind.
Sylphy unleashed a barrage of rapid slashes at Cerberus's right head's neck.
Cerberus howled in agony from the swift, brutal assault.
But Cerberus wouldn't stay down, struggling with all its might to stand again.
As Cerberus rose, Sylphy fell back to the ground. Undeterred, she repeated her earlier move, preparing to throw Kaizoku up again.
Quickly grabbing both of Kaizoku's legs, Sylphy launched him into the air for the second time.
