Chapter 278 - Epilogue: A Peaceful Voyage

Twenty years later, a ship sailed peacefully across the Mediterranean Sea. Onboard, three women and one man basked in the sun on the deck.

The blonde woman, Altria, turned to her sister and brother-in-law, her expression half-amused, half-incredulous. "Are you sure it's okay for us to be relaxing like this? After defeating the Sword Emperor Lucius and conquering the Roman Empire, we just handed over all the territories to Gawain, Agravain, Gareth, and Mordred. Is that fine?"

In this world, Mordred was the child of Lott and Morgan. Altria hadn't had much to do with it, which left her feeling slightly out of place.

"It's perfectly fine," Lott replied nonchalantly, waving off her concerns. "I'm enjoying my well-deserved retirement. First, we'll sail around the Mediterranean, and then we'll visit the Chaldean world. With both the Alien God and any singularities resolved there, we can finally take a long vacation. I've been dying to play games for decades!"

He then looked at Altria with curiosity. "By the way, aren't you going to stay as the leader of the Knights of the Round Table? You're retiring too?"

"It's simple," Altria said, grinning widely. "I want to travel to that world and try all the different foods. I hear the future has some incredible dishes!"

Morgan couldn't help but cover her face, her expression exasperated yet fond. "My sister is still so... unashamed."

On the other side of the deck, Scáthach, dressed in a swimsuit, stretched lazily. "I wanted to see what other worlds are like, so I joined this voyage. You're not planning to kick me off, are you, Morgan?"

"Of course not," Morgan replied with a smile. "You've become like family over these years."

While they conversed, a young woman in an OL uniform approached them—it was Guinevere.

"Your Majesty, the desserts are ready. It's time for tea," she announced.

"Huh? I'm not a king; I'm not Your Majesty," Altria said, looking puzzled.

"In that case, there's none for you," Guinevere retorted coolly.

"What?!" Altria's face fell, her expression comically tragic.

Seeing her reaction, everyone else burst into laughter.

Finally, Guinevere relented, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Alright, alright. I was just teasing. Of course, there's dessert for you as well."

Altria's face lit up instantly, her earlier disappointment vanishing. "Oh, thank goodness! I was starting to worry."

As everyone laughed at her antics, the atmosphere on the ship remained light and cheerful. The sun continued to shine brightly over the Mediterranean, a testament to the peaceful times that had finally come after years of conflict. For now, there was no need to worry about battles or wars—only the simple joys of life, friendship, and family.

The group settled into their relaxed rhythm, ready to enjoy the rest of their journey together, with the promise of new adventures in other worlds still to come.
