That night the air felt piercing into the skin by how cold Zayn looked like at the moment. The wind that flowed slowly carried the scent of street dust mixed with a faint gust of warm inn.
Claire stood in front of the simple building, their inn which had been rented by both men in their small adventure party. Her hand unconsciously squeezing the crescent moon necklace in her hand. The object felt warm in her palm, as if flowing a little sense of calm amidst the increasing anxiety.
Her eyes continued to sweep around, before she entered the building, she looked for a familiar figure. Squinting her eyes to watch for the ordinary brown hair and brown pupils of the man she knew. However, the familiar figure was nowhere to be seen.
Ethan did not show his face at all. Worry began to creep into her mind.
