Chapter 1 - Marriage Procession Cancel

INDIA,

Rajasthan, Jaisalmer.

If I say that there is no one as beautiful as you in this world, It is a compliment that there is nothing true!!!

In this song, a girl was dancing to her tune. At this time, a cloth was tied around her face which was hiding half of her face. And she was not aware of what she was doing.

She was dancing to such an extent that the anklets tied to her feet had also started giving up. The girl was getting blisters on her feet but she dared not stop, never! Because this would have been against her pride.

Just then, someone puts a hand on the girl's shoulder due to which the girl froze in her place. The same woman who had put her hand on her shoulder turned the girl towards herself and said, "Kritika, what are you doing? Why are you in so much pain? You will be the one who will suffer from this!".

But in the next moment, that girl sat down unconsciously on the floor near the feet of that lady holding her feet and started crying continuously. She was not saying anything but her sobs were clearly expressing her pain, as if she wanted to say in her mind, "So what should we do Dai Maa, you tell me, huhhhh, should we die or keep all this pain in our hearts every time".

That girl was just crying. Dai Maa standing in front of her also got teary-eyed. She held her by her shoulders, lifted her and took her straight away in her car to Wadhwa Mansion.

Kritika was crying in the car too but Dai Maa ( maid ) was hiding her on her chest like a small child. While rubbing her hand on her back, she said in her old voice, "Kritika , please don't cry. Tomorrow you are getting married to Hukum Saa ( king ) of Rajasthan. After that you will become Hukum Rani sa ( queen ) of Rajasthan and Hukum Saa will love you a lot. Then how will you handle all the responsibilities of Hukum Rani Saa? So you have to become strong for this, right?".

Hearing this, Kritika started looking at his face, on which Dai Maa said again, "Yes beta, Hukum Saa will keep you like a princess. He will keep you very happy. And you will have the whole of Rajasthan in your hands. And you will be happier with him than here." Now Kritika said nothing and kept hugging her.

After a while, the car stopped in the parking area of a palace-like house in Rajasthan, in front of which was written "Wadhwa Mansion"!

This mansion was no less than a royal palace. There were many servants and body guards all around. An employee opened the car door and Kritika came out of the car. Dai Maa also came out of the car with her.

Now both of them directly entered the mansion and Kritika started going towards her room from the stairs. But then she heard someone's slightly harsh voice - "Kritika, we had told you that you will not go to dancing class anymore, then how did you have the guts to go without our permission?".

Saying this, a woman of around 45 years came forward and in one go caught Kritika's hand and twisted it completely and put it on her waist. Due to the pain, Kritika pressed her lips between her teeth. But did not say a word. As soon as Dai Maa saw this, she immediately folded her hands in front of that woman and said - "Maalik, leave Kritika daughter alone, tomorrow she will get married and she will leave this house." "But I told you that she will not go to dancing class anymore"__But still that woman twisted her hand even harder and said that.

Now Kritika was writhing in pain. Tears were rolling down her fair cheeks. But that woman was not feeling any mercy for her.

But then another voice reached everyone's ears__"Radhika what are you doing? Tomorrow the poor girl will leave from here anyway, so why stop torturing her so much today!".

Saying this a man came forward with a cunning smile. Hearing this the woman whose name was Radhika Wadhwa had a strange smile on her face. And she let go of Kritika's hand in a flash and said laughingly__"Ok fine! I have let go of her hand, if she wants to go now then she can go".

As soon as Kritika saw that Radhika's grip on her hands had loosened she ran to her room. Dai Maa also followed him.

The same Radhika now looking at that man said, "Rajendra, you are happy now, right? In 18 years, this Kritika will do something good for you for the first time! Tomorrow she will get married and that deal of your company will be finalized, tomorrow her life will be at stake but you will get the profit!"

No sooner had he said this than Rajendra started laughing loudly to which Radhika said with a little helplessness and wet laughter, "Rajendra, have you ever heard that a parent is selling his own daughter? Absolutely not, but we are doing it!" There was a pain in her voice but Rajendra was laughing.

Next day! Evening time.

The entire Wadhwa mansion was decorated very beautifully today. Although the rest of the marriage rituals were not done in the wedding, but the baraat was today, due to which the entire mansion was decorated.

And today the entire mansion was also completely filled with guests.

Kritika was present in her room and Dai Maa was with her. Dai Maa was getting Kritika ready in bridal attire. She was looking very beautiful in it.

Kritika was having thousands of dreams and questions about her marriage in her mind. How would her married life begin? Would she be able to be happy in this new life?

Just then the door of her room opened and Rajendra and Radhika entered the room together.

Seeing them, Kritika shivered for a moment. When Rajendra came a little closer to her, she quickly stood up from her chair and stood in front of Rajendra with her head bowed.

Rajendra with a crooked smile suddenly grabbed Kritika's hair in his fist. Kritika would have screamed but she suppressed that scream by pressing her lips together. But that pain and helplessness was visible in her eyes. Tears were flowing from her eyes like a waterfall. She was sobbing.

Rajendra seeing her sobbing said gritting his teeth, "When the baraat (marriage procession) comes, go and sit quietly in the mandap, there is no need to create a scene, because if this marriage breaks today, then remember I will make your life a hell even more than before."

Kritika started shaking her head in yes due to pain as if she wanted to say, "We will do exactly what you are saying". A wet smile came on Radhika's face and she said in her mind, "Forgive us Kritika! We cannot save you in any way!" She now left with Rajendra.

On the other side,

a white horse which seemed to be the most expensive and Arabian breed in the world was running faster than the speed of the wind in that empty field.

Sitting on it was man who had not even put on his safety belt. A strange aura was visible on his face. Just by looking at him, it was clear that the man liked this horse riding very much.

But at this time his eyes were red with slight anger. He had the reins of that horse in his hand but that horse was not running according to him, rather it was running faster than his signals.

Due to which that person was getting very angry. At a little distance, a boy was sitting on a chair. He had a bottle of wine in his hand and a sarcastic smile on his face. He looked at the time on the phone screen and said loudly, "Akhand, it is time for your baraat to leave."

The person sitting on the chair, whose age seemed to be around 25, was Varchasva Rajput, a friend of the person sitting on the horse. And the sole owner of Rajput Industries.

The person sitting on the horse, Akhand, did not pay any attention to Varchasva's words, rather he started running the horse faster again. As if he had become very angry after hearing his words.

Varchasva once again looking at the time said, "Akhand listen to me, it is time for the baraat to leave." On hearing Varchasva's words Akhand immediately reined in the horse and said in a loud and imposing voice, "I cannot be interested in this marriage, tell Rani sa ( queen ) that I am not going in the baraat ( marriage procession ) , in fact no baraat is going, the marriage is cancelled, there will be no marriage."

Varchasva was a little surprised at Akhand's words. He immediately stood up and keeping the wine bottle on the small table kept there said, "But Akhand how can you leave the marriage in the middle like this?" I was marrying her only to take revenge from Rajendra Wadhwa but when the baraat will not go today then how will the marriage happen? And if the marriage does not happen then the girl will be in pain, she will be defamed and the more pain that the girl will have, the more pain her father Rajendra Wadhwa will have, which will give peace to my heart"___saying this he pointed towards his heart and tried to rein it in again.

But the very next moment Varchasva said___"But Akhand, that girl, what is her fault in all this, she is innocent, isn't it?"

On this Akhand stared at him with his silver ice and said___"She is innocent, but her father is not, and she will be punished for her father's deeds, today when her marriage will be broken in the presence of everyone and the groom will not come, then her father will be insulted beyond limits, which his father may not even be able to bear".

The same Varchasva was now upset___"You have returned yesterday after 13 years Akhand but this obsession of yours is still the same, Dadi sa and Dada sa have also told you to reduce the fire of your revenge and move forward in your life. Go ahead but you are the one who doesn't listen to anyone" saying this he took a deep breath.

Now the evening was falling and it was night time. But till now Akhand was busy in riding. Akhand's phone was ringing. But he was not replying or even picking up the phone.

Varchashva was watching all this. The very next moment Varchashva's phone rang. When he picked up the call, a stern woman's voice was heard from the other side - "Where is Varchashva Hukum sa? Why is he not picking up our phone? Doesn't he remember that today is his wedding?".

At this Varchashva said with a little hesitation - "But Dadi sa (granny) , Akhand is saying that he will not come to the mandap. I min he will not come in the baraat and there will be no wedding, the wedding is cancelled".

On hearing this, Dadi sa's fists were clenched in anger from the other side and she disconnected the call. As soon as the call got disconnected Varchasva took a deep breath and again started looking at Akhand sitting on that horse.

To be continued.
