"Electrode, use Thunderbolt."
Even though he has just lost a battle, old Watson is still ful of energy. But then again, he's a very old and experienced Gym Leader and a great Trainer. Afterall this is expected of Gym Leaders. Most Gym Leaders have won a League Conference once or more than that for them to have become Gym Leaders. Oc course there are some expections, for example the twin Gym Leaders, in Hoenn region.

The golden Thunderbolt exploded from Electrode, and filled half of the battlefield with golden currents.
"Bagon, nothing to be afraid. Use Dragon Pulse."
Kaizo waved his hand towards Bagon, he had no plans to retreat. His Bagon is in itself a peak Superior level pokemon, he still has plenty of firepower to defeat this fakeball, who had exploded countless times on him in games. Even without listening to Kaizo's words, Bagon wouldn't have retreated, unless Kaizo had ordered due to his pride as a Dragon.
Facing the golden arc of lightning, he spit out a huge purple beam of light. The hastily used Dragon Pulse, collided with the Thunderbolt, and caused a huge explosion which propelled, both Electrode and Bagon by a few metres. The thick smoke blocked the sight of both trainers, however Kaizo could sense Electrode's position by feeling his vitality.
"Bagon, rush in left, and use Dragon Rush."
Bagon didn't hesitate at all, jumped in the left direction and used Dragon Rush directly. While running a faint, but dense purple glow covered Bagon's body. At that moment, Kaizo could hear a faint BGM of Dragon roars.
"Not good! Electrode try to dodge."
Old Watson doesn't know how Kaizo discovered his Electrode's position. Is he now so old, that he's the only one between the two of them, who couldn't see through the smoke? Although he couldn't see through the smoke, but he could still feel the huge amount of draconic energy which was coming from Bagon. Although Electrode wanted to dodge, but he was still a second late in executing his trainers command.
After Bagon rushed out of the smoke, it slammed it's full force onto Electrode. There was soon a deafening bang, and Electrode sailed right into the air, and landed near Old Watson.
"Electrode, are you all right?"
Old Watson shouted in concern. Electrode swayed his body in response, indicating that he was fine.
"Bagon, don't give it any breathing room. Use Dragon Pulse again."
Kaizo wasn't too surprised. After all, it's also a Superior level pokemon, and it's very hard to defeat it in one move. Bagon once again spit out a Dragon Pulse, but this much more powerful and concentrated than it's previous move.
"Thunderbolt."
With Old Watson's order, Electrode released a powerful Thunderbolt, which collided with Dragon Pulse. The situation was in stalemate on for a second, before Dragon Pulse overpowered it, and rushed towards Electrode. Electrode who had just released a Thunderbolt could do nothing but take it, and was blown away, and fell outside the battlefield.
"Electrode has fainted, the winner of the second match is Kaizo. The Gym Leader is requested to send out his final pokemon."
"Haha, you have trained your Bagon's skills very well. Most trainers your age will only evolve their pokemons rather than evolve it after training it completely in that stage. It's good to see that there are still trainers like you."
"But since it's our last battle, don't expect me to go easy on you."
"Come out, Magneton."
"Bagon, can you still fight?"
Kaizo asked with concern. If Bagon is willing to fight, he will not refuse, because pokemon need to experience such hardships. They don't need to be coddled. Of course, if Bagon is too injured, he isn't going to force it to fight. Pokemon need experience, not life long injuries.
"Bagon, bag on bae"
Seeing Bagon nodding with such determination to keep fighting, Kaizo will not naturally disappoint him. Since Bagon wants to fight, then he can fight.
Name:Magneton
Strength:Superior[Lv-37]
Potential:Quasi-Elite
The strength of this Magneton isn't that strong to be honest, since it has not yet evolved into Magnezon. Or maybe, Old Watson doesn't know how to evolve it.
"Magneton, use Zap connon."
Magneton's body started constantly releasing electricity, which gathered together and formed an electric ball.
"Bagon, Flamethrower."
Bagon immediately spit out huge hot flames, which rushed towards Magneton.
"Fire the Zap Cannon, Magneton."
Magneton fired the Zap Cannon towards Bagon, which collided with the hot bellowing flames, and caused a huge explosion, whose smoke completely filled the whole battlefield. Neither Old Watson, nor Magneton could find even the shadow of Bagon anywhere.
"Bagon, use Dragon Dance."
"What? No, Magneton, hurry up and use Thunderbolt all over the field."
Old Watson's expression changed suddenly, he didn't expect Bagon to learn even such rare move. He thought that since Bagon had already shown Dragon Pulse and Dragon Rush, it would be the only rare Dragon type move which he had mastered. How could he know, that Bagon would learn even the move Dragon Dance.
In the smoke, Bagon twisted his body, and danced [Moonwalk] some weird dance. Thunderbolts were being released all over the field, and one even hit Bagon. Bagon endured the pain, and continued to dance.
"Very good, bagon. Now rush straight and use Dragon Rush and then FireFang."
Bagon ran straight while using Dragon Rush, but since the smoke was nearly gone, Bagon's position was completely revealed. In an instant, Bagon had seen Magneton, jumped upon it, with his teeth completely enveloped with fire.
"Not good, Thunderbolt with full power."
Old Watson also knew that it was almost too late to dodge, so he asked Magneton to use Thunderbolt, hoping for it to defeat Bagon. Thunderbolt once again enveloped Bagon, but Bagon endured the pain, and bit on Magneton's body. Magneton holded on for a second, but then let out a whimper of pain and fell to the ground. Bagon also released Magneton and nearly fainted with exhaustion. Magneton tried to hold on, but then fainted completely due to pain and exhaustion.
"Great, Bagon you've won."
"Bagon gon."
Bagon also started dancing happily.
"I didn't expect that only one pokemon of yours would defeat 3 of mine."
Old Watson looked very depressed. Kaizo looked at Old Watson and became a little worried. He didn't beat Old Watson to the point of autism, did he? He was nearly beaten into autism in the manga, too. No, he can't take this blame.
"This…you think too much old man. Isn't it the purpose of a Gym to train newbies and to protect the city? Right now, your city is well and the rookies like me are also becoming strong, which shows that your Gym is really important."
Old Watson heard Kaizo's words, and then he stood up in excitement.
"That's right. It's the job of us Gym Leaders to train trainers like you. And I'm very happy that trainers are getting stronger nowadays."
Kaizo breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that he didn't have to now watch a scene from the manga unfold here.
"Your Bagon is also very strong. Very well, for your victory against me, I present you the Dynamo Badge."
Old Watson took out a badge and handed it to Kaizo.
"Thank you Gym Leader Watson."
Kaizo took the Dynamo Badge and put it in his Badge holder case. Now he has obtained 4 badges, as long as he collects 4 more, he would become eligible to participate in this year's Ever Grande City Conference. He has the badge of Rustboro City, Dewford Town, Petalburg City and now Mauville City. His next stop is Lavaridge Town.
The current Gym Leader is Mr.Moore, the previous Elite Four Member of the Hoenn Region. Flannery has yet not become a Gym Leader, at least Kaizo doesn't know whether she has become or not. So as long as he defeats Mr.Moore, by taking advantage of the system's bug, he may be able to get a Diamond Chest. He's really looking forward to its rewards.
By the way, after defeating Old Watson, he got a silver Treasure Chest. After getting the badge, Kaizo returned to the Pokemon Center to let his Bagon get treated. Although he had already healed Bagon with his Viridian powers, he still felt more at ease when Nurse Joy checked Bagon.

Kaizo sat cross-legged on his bed, opened the map and looked around. Suddenly, Kaizo set his sights on an island not far away. This isolated island had once been a power station, but just like the one in Kanto, this one too has been abandoned. According to his game, or meta knowledge, the Power plant should have a lot of electric type pokemons.
He doesn't have an electric type pokemon, so it's time to get one. The only pokemon worth capturing there is Electabuzz. Other electric type pokemons don't seem that good to him. Besides, it's not like he can wait for his luck to land him a Zerora. Magnezone isn't that bad either. It's just since he has 6 pokemons, he would have to teleport one back to the Birch Institute.
In order to keep Happiny, Kaizo has already sent AggronF. His other main pokemon are still with him, training intensely.
"Right, that Silver Treasure Chest. I wonder what I would get from it?"
Kaizo suddenly remembered that Silver Chest and opened it.
"Ding Dong, Congratulations to the host for getting the Friend Ball."
Friend Ball: Can increase intimacy with the pokemon caught by this pokeball.
This is another special pokeball, which has yet to be manufactured by the League. As long as he keeps a pokemon in this pokeball, he doesn't need to worry about making another spot on his team. Kaizo immediately used the Intimacy Ball on Happiny. Besides, the evolution of Chansey into Blissey requires intimacy. In this way, Kaizo can capture another pokemon.

Kaizo turned around and left the Pokemon Center after talking with Nurse Joy for a few minutes. He then came to a renters shop, and rented a boat. The boat slowly came to the foot of the island. The power plant station here used to provide electricity to Mauville City, but for some reason, it has now become abandoned.
This led to a huge number of Electric type pokemons to reside here. Kaizo tied the rented boat, and then jumped ashore and let out Blaziken. The fire type was feeling quite proud, thinking that Kaizo has called him out because he's the second strongest in the team. Greninja, that junior can't compete with him for Kaizo's love. Thats right, Aggron is the first, and he's the second in terms of strength. Atleast, this is what Blaziken thinks in his mind.
Kaizo walked to the forefront, looking at the surrounding forest with caution in his eyes. Although he has not yet reached the power plant, but there may be some hostile pokemon in the forest. If he's not careful, he can be easily attacked. Fortunately there was no trouble along the way, and no wild pokemons attacked him. Kaizo soon came to the powerplant station.
Outside the the power plant, there were many, voltorbs, Magnemites, and Electrikes. None of these pokemons are what Kaizo likes. Unless any one of them is highly talented, Kaizo won't catch them.
"Wait, I was wrong. I came here by ACCIDENT!"
Kaizo was just about to bribe these pokemons with pokeblocks, when he heard someone's screams. When he turned and looked, he could see a man covered in black, one or two years older than him, with a Meowth next to him wearing, Clothes?
"RUN"
When the man saw Kaizo, he hurriedly reminded Kaizo, hoping that Kaizo would escape and not get affected by his problem. As for solving his problem, please he has been trying to do so for the last 30 mins. Kaizo saw countless Magnemites, and voltorbs with golden lightning flashing over their bodies. This is clearly a precursor to Thunderbolt.
Kaizo's face turned green, he was caught up in the crossfire. It is good that just now, this bastard actually reminded him to run in goodwill, otherwise he would have definitely taught that moron a lesson. Kaizo slowed stretched out his hand and slowly released his Viridian Powers Aura. Magnemite and the other Voltorbs, which were about to attack, felt the Viridian power in Kaizo, and subconsciously stopped.

"Right, sorry for nearly dragging you into that mess. My name is Tyson, a pokemon trainer.
Tyson…? This name sounded a bit familiar to him. Kaizo looked at the man, and then at his Meowth and then remembered, this is the future Champion of the Ever Grande City Conference, who had a strong Meowth. It was just pure bad luck for Ash that year. After 5 years of training, he had stopped Ash from becoming a League Champion.
He was also considered a role model for many civilian trainers, as he had won a Conference based on his efforts, since he was a true civilian trainer.
Not everyone is lucky like Ash, who gets the royal starters of every region. Of course, Tyson was shown a bit weak in the anime, but that was because the protagonist can't lose too badly, so Tyson's strength was weakened in the anime. In reality, Tyson is actually a strong trainer, who was there to teach Ash a lesson, and to stop him from winning the League Conference.
"Tyson, I see. By the way, Tyson, what happened just now? Why were they chasing you so furiously?"
Kaizo asked curiously. Tyson's face became red in embarrassment when he heard Kaizo, and he didn't know how to answer. It was a bit embarrassing.
"I was just going to capture an electric type pokemon, but as soon as I entered all these pokemons started attacking me."
Kaizo understood, but he didn't think that pokemon would attack someone, just because someone had entered their home. He didn't question further, because he understood that Tyson probably wanted to hide something.
"Oh, you're also a pokemon trainer too, right? How about a battle?"
Tyson suddenly challenged. Kaizo looked at Tyson's Meowth, understood Tyson's deflection.
Name:Meowth
Strength:Gym Level[Lv-45]
Potential:Elite Level
A very good Meowth, no wonder it can become Tyson's ace, even though it had not evolved. Though had it evolved into Persian, then with his Elite potential, it is estimated that it would have become an Elite level pokemon within the next few years.
"Alright, since you want to fight, that's fine, but not now. I'm going to first capture an Electric type pokemon first. Want to come with me?"
"Sure, lead the way."
Tyson originally wanted to refuse, but he didn't want to get hunted again, so he answered positively. Kaizo walked through the door of the power plant, and then looked at the pokemon around with a friendly face.
"Everyone, I just want to capture a pokemon. This is a gift which I've prepared for all of you. Please take a look."
The gift was nothing more but wastes produced while he made pokeblocks, but even this waste is more delicious than the markets pokemon ration. One of the voltorbs jumped forward and took a bite, and indicated others to come and eat too. All the other pokemon came and started eating the pokeblocks.
"Your method is really simple."
Tyson said in an exasperated tone. He also wanted to use this method, but he didn't have so much money to waste. To raise his current team, requires careful planning and he even does some art time work to make ends meet. Kaizo didn't say anything in response, these pokemon foods were just a bonus, the real thing was his Viridian power.
These pokemons didn't attack, because just like every pokemon, they too sensed the pure and natural Viridian power inside Kaizo. After the pokemons finished, Kaizo asked them if he could go in.
"So, …can I go and catch one or two pokemons?'
All the pokemon who had filled their bellies gave way. Kaizo immediately walked into the power plant. Tyson also silently followed behind, and since he was following Kaizo, these pokemon didn't attack him. If Tyson was alone, we would have been welcomed with countless Thunderbolts.
After Kaizo entered, he kept his main focus on Magnemite. Magnezone, it's final evolution is a very powerful pokemon. If he can find one with high potential, he will definitely catch it. He glanced around with his Eyes of data, but couldn't find anyone with high potential. Most were either Superior or Gym level potential. The least potential with which it is acceptable for him is atleast Quasi-Elite potential.
He can capture one with Quasi-Elite potential and then improve it to atleast Elite level potential. His Aggron is now a prime example. His potential had also once been Quasi-Elite, but now it has Champion level potential. And if he can get another Silver crown, then Magnemite won't even have to wait for a long time, it could immediately reach Elite level potential.
Tyson also followed behind, looking around carefully, hoping to find a pokemon to his liking. After all, it is very difficult for him to enter here alone, and it may not be possible for him to get in, in the future.
