Once, in ancient times, somewhere in the south of Germany, near Berginham. In a rural estate, surrounded by an apple orchard. There lived a scientist and his loyal sock. The scientist's name was Charles Ermogrof Bridgeton and the sock was called Harold Rimnys Valheim the Almighty III. They were great friends, scientists, and cake bakers. And how could these two farmers overthrow the Berginham Tower? Well, you will find out when they arrive in Berginham.
Although Berginham was nearby (only 80 km away), the two friends had never been there because the city is like a paradise, which also means that it's difficult to get in. Berginham is guarded by six golden iron gates, and the only way to get in is to be a very important guest or a very outstanding gate breaker. Charles and Harold are neither, alas! "If we were kings," Charles suddenly spoke at the dirty breakfast table. "Then what?" Harold asked. "We could certainly get to Berginham," Charles drank goat's milk and continued, "we could drink goat's milk every day because we would have gold!" "Well... yes!" Harold said after a while.
The two of them did nothing for a long time, just sat there like mummies. And then again: "We need a plan, a good plan, to get to Berginham," Harold agreed. Suddenly, memories shot through Charles' mind, about where he buried his right plan, rather the left one, as he wrote it with his left hand. "It's in the barn!" Charles immediately got up and rushed off, Harold slowly following. Charles eagerly rummaged through the sweet-smelling barn, and finally found it - he found the good plan.
"Here it is." The plan was simple - to bypass the gates. "Hmm... why do we even want to go there?" Harold asked skeptically. "Did you forget?" Charles wondered, "We want to go there to recover my inventions, which I gave all for the Berginham Science Fair, I think they might be in the Berginham Tower, where they keep their stolen items." "Good thinking, so what are we waiting for? Let's go!" "Wait, I'll grab my cheese gun and the book '101 Ways to Reach the Berginham Tower', we can read it on the way!" Charles decided. Charles, grabbing everything, hurriedly grabbed Harold, put him in his pocket, and ran towards Berginham.
The days were long and hot, as late May had arrived. It only took 16 hours to reach the first gates, now it was time for the plan. The two tried to find a spot to bypass the gates. It took a long time, a few hours. They found a spot where there was no fence in front, the fences weaving around halfway. Apparently there wasn't enough money to finish the fence - Harold chuckled. Yes, indeed - Charles also chuckled a bit. After that, they started moving towards the tower.
Along the streets walked gentlemen and other very well-dressed people. Along the way, Charles and Harold saw many luxurious buildings - wineries, bakeries, restaurants, and schools. The two farmers walked down the cobblestone street with their mouths open. After a while, they reached Bergingham Tower. The tower looked very old, yet also new, maybe even futuristic.
What's up there? - Sock asked. That's a pseudoholographic disc, it can generate energy indefinitely - scientific Charles replied. But "pseudo" means false, and "holographic" has something to do with holograms - Harold disagreed. Correct, this disc is similar to a hologram, but partly real and tangible, it's all too complicated to understand, let's just go inside. There were no doors or windows on the tower. This is impossible - Harold lamented.
Charles took a deep breath, then took a book and began to read, but not too loud so others wouldn't hear. 101st way, find the secret tunnel near the mill - Charles read convincingly. Well then, let's go! Around 10:25 they had reached the mysterious mill. The sun was almost setting behind the mountains. Suddenly, Harold shouted: Here it is! In a miraculous way, he found the entrance to the tunnel. Well done. The tunnel was dark and smelled musty, but Charles had brought a lantern, so it was actually lit.
After about half an hour, Harold nervously said: Is your stomach growling? He he, of course not - Charles seemed amused. Then what's that growling? - Harold was very restless. Both speakers stopped and looked back, and they saw something horrifying. It had yellow-red eyes, it looked like a shadow, its body couldn't be seen. After a second, when it started growling, it was clear what it was - a WOLF!
Both hastily ran through the dark tunnel, forward, towards the exit. It was very visible, and finally, they burst through the narrow exit - into the tower. They quickly shut the small door of the tunnel. The scientists' fear turned to astonishment as they looked at the interior.
The mighty tower's walls from the inside were covered with beautiful nature-themed wallpapers. The ceilings stretched all the way up to the top of the tower. Overall, the room was much larger than expected. Expensive furniture and colorful tables were placed everywhere, and famous people's paintings hung on the walls. So splendid!? - Harold marveled. I certainly didn't expect this - Charles added. What now? How will we get all the way up there? We could... well, good question.
Scientists also didn't understand the answer. Both friends decided to look around the room, maybe they could find a secret passage that opens with a bookshelf? Ah, they already found it. A secret staircase opened up, which looked like it led all the way up. Time to climb - they both exclaimed. After about 1102 steps, they had reached the top of the tower. It was dark up there, as it was already night.
Both, slowly raising their heads, saw it - the disc, which looked a million times larger than from below, and it was spinning? Charles, before Harold could ask, answered his question: The disc has unreal abilities, to change the composition of atoms and air, and its appearance, hence all sorts of strange illusions happen. Wait, we are looking for your lost belongings, where are they?
On top of the tower were three small squares, more like rooms, more like cabins. Both crazy quickly searched each cabin, found nothing there, except in the last one they found a switch. Around the switch, various things were written in German, which of course they didn't know the language. Charles quickly pulled out his portable translator and translated. The texts said: Push if you dare, and if you are brave.
There was a slight mistake in the translator, because the switch could not be pushed, but it could be pulled. In any case, Harold, without thinking about the consequences, pushed or pulled the switch.

It seemed like the entire tower shook, and a loud thud occurred. It sounded like an explosion of dynamite. They both went outside and saw... that above the tower there were no skies, but stone pavements and trees. Then they looked down and saw the skies. It was a clear situation, both wise men had toppled the Berginhema Tower!
How!? - Charles wondered. What, how, when, at what time, where!? - Harold was even more confused. How do we now stand upside down looking at the ground? Well, good question. Both friends suddenly started screaming, as if they were falling, but they didn't fall. After a few seconds, they fell into a pond, which was below or above them.
They quickly climbed out of the water. Wow, this is impressive - Harold wondered. We still haven't found my things that we were looking for diligently. Once both had regained their composure, they noticed Charles's inventions in the distance. They were standing next to the trash cans, as usual. The friends ran towards the hiding place for inventions. Charles quickly put the inventions in his pocket.
He was already preparing to slowly walk back home with Harold, when suddenly a policeman pointed at them. He started coming towards them threateningly, then both scientists threw their legs over their shoulders.
