After Abigail saw Sawyer enter the bathroom, she slipped under the blanket and typed her reply:
"Aunty Hannah, I'm sorry. I just saw your text. Yes, you can call me anytime."
Abigail didn't send the text immediately; she read the message a few times before pressing send.
Later, she tried to sleep for a moment. Still, her mind wouldn't rest as she began to guess which family members and friends Sawyer had invited to attend their wedding tomorrow. Earlier, when she had asked, he just smiled and said, "You'll see."
