Abigail and Sawyer didn't stay long in the nursing home. They immediately headed to the cabin in Starfall Mountain.
After a few hours' drive, they finally arrived at Sawyer's cabin.
This was Abigail's second visit to the place, but this time, something caught her attention as she stepped out of the car. An unfamiliar young man with dark, messy hair emerged from the cabin, walking quickly toward them with a big, spring-like smile.
Abigail gripped Sawyer's hand tightly as if she wanted to ask him who the man was.
Looking at her curious gaze, Sawyer knew what she was about to ask. He smiled at her and gently squeezed her hand. However, before he could respond, Ethan loudly greeted Abigail.
"Sister-in-law! I'm so damn thrilled to meet you!"
Slowly, Abigail felt her cheeks warm at how the man addressed her as "Sister-in-law." She wasn't used to hearing that, especially from Sawyer's close friend. It still felt strange to her ears.
