"Are you sure I don't need to teach him a lesson?" Sawyer asked, still upset that someone had claimed credit for something they didn't do to trap Abigail. His anger simmered, and he wanted to punish Ryland for lying to her.
Abigail's heart fluttered at Sawyer's concern; it was clear how much he cared for her and wanted to defend her.
"Hmm, you don't have to do anything," Abigail replied. "That man's company is already suffering. I believe they will go bankrupt soon!" She smiled at Sawyer, noticing his anger begin to lessen.
Sawyer felt relief at her words. However, he made a mental note to ask Ethan to speed up the process of bankrupting Urbangrid Innovation. He could not let Ryland Wood live comfortably and peacefully after what he had done to Abigail.
