In one of the living rooms of a beachfront villa, Sawyer stood by the window, gazing out at the blue sea. His hand was stuffed in his trouser pocket, and he was deep in thought, ignoring the knock on the door behind him.
"Sir, I apologize for opening the door without your permission." Ronan's apologetic tone broke the silence, prompting Sawyer to turn and look toward the door.
Taking a deep sigh, Sawyer walked over to the seating area and gestured for Ronan to join him.
"How did you know I was here?" Sawyer asked. He hasn't informed anyone about his sudden arrival in the town.
He did not intend to visit this town initially; the trip was merely his excuse to spend time with Abigail as she visited her Grandma. Meanwhile, his staff in the capital believed he was spending the weekend at his cabin in the Starfall Mountains.
