'Does he eat a lot? It must be because he's a man and needs plenty of food to function, right?' Abigail felt amused by her thoughts.
"Abby, are you done?" Sawyer's voice from behind her brought Abigail back to reality. She straightened up and turned to face him.
"Yes."
"Well, Abby, there's a problem with this cabin." Sawyer's expression turned worried as he noticed her frown.
"W-What is it? We can't stay here?" Abigail asked. Her worry could be heard in her tone. After spending so many hours reaching this place, it would be frustrating if they couldn't stay there for the night, right?
Sawyer let out a quiet sigh. "Let's sit by the stove; it's warmer there," he suggested, walking over to the seating area and sitting down, waiting for her to join him.
As she settled on the couch, Abigail glanced at him; he seemed lost in thought, staring at the fire.
