"Sir, I thought you knew Miss Abigail was going somewhere?" Brody replied, raising his eyebrows slightly in shock.
"What do you mean, Brody?" Sawyer asked, puzzled.
Brody quickly explained, "I just saw Miss Abigail leave the house, sir."
Sawyer was stunned. He hadn't heard from Abigail about her early work schedule for today. 'Did something happen at the café?' he wondered curiously.
"And why are you still there!? Why didn't you drop her off at the café?" Sawyer asked, clearly displeased to learn that Brody had let Abigail walk to her workplace.
Brody quickly clarified that Abigail wasn't headed to the café but to another place. He also mentioned Abigail's suspicions about him, which led her to ask him to stop offering her rides.
"Sir, I'm sorry, but you'll have to find someone else to give her a ride to her café. I can't do it anymore because she thinks I have a crush on her..." Brody expressed his concern helplessly.
