She lifted her gaze to Nicholas. "He… met with her?"
Nicholas nodded grimly. "More than once."
Ava's world spun. The trust she had so desperately held onto was beginning to crack.
"He was spotted with her just a few days before your father's heart attack," Nicholas said, pointing at the photo she was holding. "This was taken near a deserted area close to the forest reserve. And this one—" he handed her another picture, "—was at the wetland area."
He held up another phone. "And that's not all. He was also spotted with her at the hospital the day of your father's surgery."
Ava's head snapped up, her wide eyes locking onto his. "He met with Lydia at the hospital. Are you sure?"
