In The Hidden Rain Village, countless people were surrounding a certain building. Among them were both civilians and ninjas of The Hidden Rain.
They were all having a fairly normal day, but they soon received shocking news from Konan, which turned their world upside down.
Everyone in the village lost their minds when they learned that the leader of the village, Pain, was going to make an appearance in public.
The people in the village have only heard his name and deeds but they have never seen him with their eyes. The only way he made contact with the people was through Konan which is the reason why everything about his identity is so mysterious.
"Hey, do you think that Lord Pain will actually show up?"A random guy asked
"Fool, don't you dare slander his name. He has never gone back on his words" His friend replied
"I hope he is the most handsome person in the world," A girl said as she daydreamed about being Pain's wife.
"Stop dreaming about him. You are not that beautiful" another girl who heard her replied.
Just like them, everyone was gossiping and was waiting for their lord to show his face to everyone.
Soon, Konan showed up and told everyone that Pain had arrived, which made everyone silent.
After that, the clouds above the village shook with thunder, and a behemoth of a creature descended from the sky.
That creature was covered in purple armor and wings. He had a blue-colored face made full of chakra. The most notable thing about that purple creature was the fact that he had 9 blue-colored Tails sprouting out from his back.
"What the hell is that thing?"
"Is it a monster?"
"How can something like that exist?"
The civilians were panicking, which made sense since they had never seen any sort of Ninjutsu at that level.
"Is that a person inside that monster?"
"Is that Lord Pain?"
"Maybe, only he could have a technique this awesome"
The ninjas were also afraid like civilians but they didn't run away from the venue like idiots. They just simply peed their pants while looking at the Demi-God in the sky.
"He is Pain, your ruler and the leader of The Hidden Rain Village," Konan announced, which shocked everyone, including the running civilians who turned back to see their leader.
Sasuke, who was inside his 9-Tails cloaked Indra Susanoo, landed on the ground and deactivated it. His physical appearance was a bit different than his usual self. He looked a bit mature just like his adult version.
He changed his appearance through a jutsu he learned from Tsunade to temporarily look a bit old in front of everyone. He knew that people in the Hidden Rain wouldn't believe him if he looked like a teenager. Everyone in the village knew that Pain was in his 30s, so he had to do something like that to fool everyone.
"Lord Pain, is that you?" A ninja who was Konan's henchman asked.
"Indeed," Sasuke said as Konan nodded slightly with a blush. She got a crush on her rapist master after seeing him at the same age as her. She knew that Sasuke was going to use a transformation jutsu to change his appearance, but she didn't expect him to become much more handsome.
"Lord Pain" People started to shout his name after confirming his identity through Konan.
After that, he met the common folks and ninjas of the village and talked a little with them. Most people thanked him for getting rid of the tyrant Hanzo years ago. He also made some promises to make The Hidden Rain a safe place and promised to make their land a better place just like The Hidden Sound Village.
Thankfully, Sasuke was a good actor, so things went smoothly. His biggest ally was the fact that no one knew how Pain looked before which made everything easy for him.
"I'll be making some public appearances from now on, but for now, I have some unfinished business with someone," Sasuke said as he flew into the sky and disappeared from the spot, leaving everyone speechless.

"Keep things here in check and follow the instructions written here," Sasuke said as he transformed back to normal and gave a manual to Konan.
"I'll do it, master," Konan said as she bowed in front of Sasuke.
"You bow to no one"
"Just follow my instructions, but if something unexpected happens, tear that seal apart, and I'll be notified of your call," Sasuke said as he teleported back to Konoha after conquering Hidden Rain without a single casualty.
He had always wanted to help Hidden Rain Village when he saw that Naruto broke his promise to Nagato and didn't look after the Hidden Rain Village and left it to be the shithole it always was.
'Naruto is so stupid. If he wasn't the strongest ninja and persistent about becoming Hokage, he wouldn't have been elected as Hokage' Sasuke thought as he realized that Naruto had broken way too many promises.
Naruto was the strongest Hokage but not the best one. He only achieved world peace in name and left the other small nations to suffer. What he achieve was just a truce between 5 Great Nations that would disappear the moment he dies since no one wanted to be his enemy.
Either way, once Sasuke teleported back to his home, he saw his guard Nagato talking with a certain Hyuuga that was destined to be a meat shield.
"So have you made up your mind, Neji?" Sasuke said as he put his arms on Neji's shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Sasuke, but I can't agree on your terms. I wish to be a free man. I don't want to be a slave to anyone. If I agree to your terms then my life won't change. The only thing that would change will be my owner" Neji said as he bowed in front of Sasuke and apologized for not accepting Sasuke's slavery even though it was only for some years.
"You didn't like my offer and apologized humbly instead of being cocky. I like your attitude. I guess I could help you without anything in return." Sasuke said as he put his hand on Neji's shoulder and made him stand up.
"Thank you, Sasuke. Please help me," Neji said as he showed his birdcage seal on his forehead to Sasuke.
After checking for a while, Sasuke understood everything about the seal.
"I can remove this seal but there is 50% of you dying through the process since I'm not the original owner of the seal. Though, This could be removed by the one who implanted it without any risks," Sasuke said as he lied about the fact that Neji could die in the process just because he didn't want more Hyuuga Clan secondary branch members to seek him for their freedom. He was going to deal with that family problem after the war but not now.
"Do it. I don't know when I will die. Maybe I die tomorrow in the war, but I would be happy if I died as a free man," Neji said in a low voice.
"As you wish," Sasuke said as he put his hand on Neji's forehead and removed his slave seal, which instantly alerted Hyuuga Clan's main branch.
On the other hand, Neji felt that the shackles that were holding his body in prison cracked and disappeared which made him more powerful.
Apparently, the slave seal was holding his true strength and chakra from growing like a cage.
"Thank you, Sasuke," Neji said as he started crying and hugged Sasuke out of gratitude.
Sasuke let him cry a little before petting his back.
"Men don't cry. Stay with Nagato for some time, he will protect you from your previous owners. I will deal with them after the war tomorrow, but for now, I want to take some rest," Sasuke said as he went inside his home.
