A world of black and grey, a desert-like land with grey dunes everywhere. The land seems dead, with no life, no soul, nothing. It's as if nothing is meant to exist.
A land where those who walk on it don't exist—no name, past, and not much of a future. A land made from the corpse of a fallen deity, transformed into a place where those who have been erased are sent.
The land is filled with sand made of the fallen bodies of powerful humans and deities. But where there is death, there is life, even for those who don't exist.
Monsters with spears of light are the only inhabitants, with their sole purpose being to kill those sent to these lands. They are powered by the fallen, and their only purpose is to kill.
A loud splash can be heard—not of water, but of micro rocks soaring into the air before landing back onto the other micro rocks. A giant body made of jet-black boulders, with cracks and slash marks on it, emerges. With one glowing spot on its massive boulder body, it has enormous arms but tiny legs, half the size of its arms.
The creature holds a massive white glowing spear, but the pointed end is dug into the ground.
A voice can be heard in the massive cloud of sand. It is that of a boy, a bit on the younger side but with a fierce tone. "Phew! Thought I was dead there," he says as steps can be heard, and a figure dashes out of the cold and runs up the spear. The golem raises its hand and slams it down onto the spear, causing a loud shockwave that blows away the sandy air, clearing it for a moment.
But in that moment, the figure jumps off the spear before the hand crashes down and lands on the hand the golem used to try to hit him.
The figure is around 1/15th the size of the golem's hand. With a hood masking its face, it jumps once again but much higher. The rocky monster looks up, its glowing core facing the hooded figure.
The figure reaches behind, pulling out a marble of sorts. It matches the golem's core with the same white glow, but the glow is shaped like a sword symbol. The figure crushes it in their oddly pale hands, and the marble disperses into white glowing dust that forms into a short sword, curved back with a square end.
The curved short blade has symbols running along it, with the handle wrapped in something, leaving the end unwrapped and flailing around. It seems like the blade has only been wielded with one hand throughout its use.
He speaks again, giving out an order of words as if they are more organized: "Now, my blade, take my blood and turn it into power." He grabs his blade and runs his skin across the sharp edge, causing red blood to run into every nook and cranny of the blade.
Suddenly, the blood turns white, and the glow grows stronger than ever.
["Curved Blade of the None-Fated" special skill has been activated]
After those words echo in the figure's mouth, you can see that he lets out a bit of a grin. By this time, the golem has already pulled out its spear and is slashing toward the figure.
The figure pulls back his blade and holds it tightly. As time feels like it's slowing down, he slashes so fast that he hits the golem before the figure even moves his arm.
The golem's arms fall off. A clean cut at the joints renders the arms unusable. Its massive boulder-like arms and fingers fall, as does the spear, creating a bigger sandy cloud. With this, the figure lands on the glowing point in the golem's body pulls back his blade, and stabs it forward.
The sound of cracks can be heard as the light starts shooting out, with the golem's body cracking and falling into nothing but a pile of rubble and rocks.
Soon after, the rocks start to dissolve into sand, filling up the pit that the golem made. The wind blows off the figure's hood, revealing snow-white hair. It's uneven on some sides as if cut by a blade, with a scar running from the back up to the middle of the neck.
The figure's face is a bit feminine but also a bit masculine—some might say they were a girl if it weren't for the voice.
"All right, let's see what he's got," the voice says, raspy and dry, with a crack in one lip from the lack of water.
The short blade retracts back into the marble, and the sound of chains hitting each other is heard as there are shackles on the boy's arms, with the chains extending out one foot before dissolving into the air, becoming invisible.
"Can't take too much time; they might be able to track me here," he says, looking down at his hand, where a necklace is wrapped around it with an ornament made of a metal-like substance but far sturdier and lighter. It is shaped like an X with a red line within it.
"I hope I can escape just like you wanted me to, A-1," he says as a memory flashes in his head of a woman with no face and no voice. The only thing he can remember is her long black hair. "Can't even remember what you were like; this place truly is meant for the nonexistent."
He walks off into the sandy dunes, running away from someone or something.

Soon after the golem disappears and the boy is gone, footsteps of at least eight men are heard around the abnormally large dune. One of the eight men has a tattoo on his back, a roaring tiger. He has broad shoulders and massive legs, his muscles filling out his large frame, with scars all over it. He has long black hair and pale skin.
"SIR A-2, WE FOUND SOMETHING," another person says. This one wears worn-out armor, with some parts still bearing paint, though so little you could peel it off with your nails. They also have a piece of black cloth wrapped around their heads, with goggles poking out from them.
In a deep, raspy voice, the big man responds, "What did you find, T-5?" The man referred to as T-5 reaches out and pulls out a pointy crystal, glowing white and very eye-catching to any normal person.
The man reaches over, grabs the crystal, bites down on one of the points, and snaps it off, causing glowing white dust to spill out a bit.
He spits out the point, lifts the broken crystal to his nose, and presses his finger against his other nostril. The man called A-2 sniffs the dust inside, immediately jerking his head around as his eyes glow.
He gets a vision, and within that vision, he sees the boy who killed the golem, but from the golem's perspective, witnessing what happened and where the boy went.
The giant man lets out a groan of relief. "Damn, that shit was strong," he says. 'Might want to save this for later,' he thinks as he covers the broken end of the crystal with a cloth, then wraps it tightly with a black string.
"Okay, men," A-2 says with a commanding voice, "We are heading that way," he points out into the abyss where he sees the boy walking off.
"But sir, that leads to—" the footman starts but is cut off.
"Yes, it leads to one of the five functioning places in this desert. Sadly, that number will become four when we're done with it," he shrugs as he walks, grinning, a scar wrinkling from the top of his head down his neck.
"And once we catch him!" he states loudly, "WE CAN LEAVE THIS HELL HOLE AND BECOME WHAT WE ONCE LOST!"
"YEAH!" the seven men yell back.
