Ahn Jongseob blows the punching bag again, a little more force than the other times as sweat trickles down his face. He was currently in the dingy basement of HB Headquarters, a prestigious Agency for Spies, Assassins, and all that biz. "Want some water, man?" A light haired man, who goes by Agent D asks Jongseob, holding out a bottle of water in his shaky hands. Jeongsob takes the bottle, letting out a few small huffs before taking a much needed sip. "Thanks," he says before continuing his fight with the bag. "So, how old are you now, 28?" Agent D asks, sitting on a bench with a sloppy posture."Ya, what's it to you?" Jeongsob asks, tilting his head to see his fellow agent. Agent D cracks a grin."Damn, I'm suprised half the building hasn't gone gay for you yet," Agent D says, chuckling at Jeongsobs relatively pretty face. "Shut the fu-""Agent Red, please report to the main office!" A robotic voice from the speaker says.Hearing the announcement, Ahn Jongseob paused his punching routine for a moment. Agent D snickered beside him, clearly amused by the situation."Looks like they need you, pretty boy," Agent D teased, a mischievous grin on his face."I hate you," Jeongsob says as he walks out the dark room, wiping his face with a towel. He walks up to the main office, opening a door with the buildings old, scratched up logo painted on it. Inside, the CEO, along with a few other agents are waiting. But one of them in particular catches his eye. It's a woman with long, sleek, black hair, a beautiful girl to be honest. But that's not all. She seems brand new, her uniform perfectly clean. "You called?" He asks. The CEO, a middle-aged man with sharp eyes and a stern expression, nodded in response. "Yes, Agent Red, we have a new mission for you, named Mission HB." Jongseob gave the newcomer a once-over, trying not to show his slight curiosity. He'd never seen her before. She looked like a deer in headlights, obviously inexperienced and out of her depth. "And it also includes," he gestures for the new agent to step up. "Our newest recruitment, Saebi, or Agent Black, to accompany you." Jongseob looks at the new girl, his expression unreadable. "Hello," Saebi bows. "I'm Agent Black, nice to meet you."Jongseob bowed his head slightly in response, eyeing her up and down once more. "Likewise," he replied coolly, crossing his arms. He couldn't help but wonder why they'd pair him with a rookie. It wasn't exactly his style to play babysitter, especially on a mission. He looks at the CEO with an expression that could easily translate to: 'Are you fucking kidding me?'. "Now, Agent Red, go easy on her, as this is her first mission," the CEO says, noticing his glare. "Sr. Na will now explain the mission." Sr. Na, a sweet looking elderly man with a bright smile walks forward. Jongseob mentally groaned. Great, not only was he paired with a newbie, but he was also being told to go "easy" on her. He was used to working alone, not having to worry about someone else. But he held his tongue and listened as Sr. Na began to explain the mission details. Sr. Na pulled out a file, opening it to reveal detailed intel on their target. He pointed to the information. "Your primary objective is to retrieve a stolen artifact from a highly guarded location. It's a delicate operation, requiring both finesse and precision." "But.." the CEO says. "We will need you two to act as an influential, married couple to get close to the house leader, Mr. Uhn."Jongseob raised an eyebrow at this information. Act as a married couple? This mission just kept getting better and better. He glanced over at Saebi, wondering how she was taking this news. Saebi's eye twitches slightly, as she certainly wasn't expecting nor wanting this to be her first mission. "We have set up false news and accomplishments for your roles, the Kim family," the CEO continues. "Along with a house around the area of the target." The CEO and Sr. Na complete the explaining soon after, leaving both agents shocked. Jongseob was left speechless. He was not prepared for this kind of mission. A fake married couple? It was ludicrous. But as he glanced at Saebi, he could see the same shock and disbelief mirrored in her expression. She clearly wasn't thrilled about the situation either."So, let me get this straight," Jongseob said, turning to the CEO. "We have to pretend to be newlyweds and infiltrate a mansion under false identities? And you expect us to succeed as... a team?" The CEO chuckled. "Exactly. You two will have to play the roles of the happily married couple, Mr. and Mrs. Kim, convincingly."Jongseob pinched the bridge of his nose. This was a disaster waiting to happen. The mere idea of having to pretend to be married, let alone a newlywed couple with someone he barely knew, was far from ideal. But he had no choice. He was an agent, and orders were orders. "Well, Toodle-loo," Sr. Na says, waving goodbye. "You two have about," he looks at the calendar. " two days before you move in to get along! Your dorms for the time being are room 2-8!" He smiles again. "You are now excused!"Saebi let's put a confused noise as she and Jongseob are escorted to the dorm. It's another small, two bed dorm with a bathroom, kitchen, and one window. Jongseob looks at Saebi, already not very fond of her. "You better be good at this," He says, glaring at Saebi with a look that sends fearful chills down her spine. "Because I'm not playing babysitter for two months" Saebi flinches at Jongseob's glare, but she quickly regains her composure. "I may be new," she replies, "but I didn't get hired here to be dead weight. I can handle myself." She returns the glare, showing that she's not completely intimidated by him. "And I'm not looking forward to having a cranky old man as a partner either," she adds, a hint of sass in her voice. A bone ticks in Jongseob jaw. "Just so you know, I am 28, so I'm certainly not old!" He says defensively. Saebi chuckles, her laugh is a cute, high- pitched one that makes Jongseob's heart skip a beat. He kicks himself internally for that, quickly turning his gaze away from the new agent. Saebi grins, noticing the subtle reaction from Jongseob, even though he tried to hide it. "Sure, you're not old," she teases, folding her arms across her chest. "But you sure do act like it, grump.""I try," he smiles a bit.
