"So, you found this place so quickly? It seems my memory charm has been broken. The people at S.H.I.E.L.D. have some skill, after all."
Recognizing the identity of Black Widow, George quickly pieced together the situation.
Earlier, he had been practicing the Killing Curse in the simulation battle room when Professor X came to inform him that a suspicious agent had been spotted lingering near the school. George came to investigate, and sure enough, it was none other than Black Widow, whom he had previously hit with a memory charm at the Arkly Gene Company base.
Although Professor X had been downgraded from a Level Four mutant to Level Three, his extensive experience and telepathic abilities still allowed him to cover the entire school, functioning like a large-scale radar.
Thus, whenever someone with ill intentions appeared nearby, Professor X could detect it immediately.
"So, you want to play? Fine, let's play."
They were no longer the vulnerable group that had just escaped the base last year. Even with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s intimidating reputation, George wasn't particularly afraid.
If worse came to worst, he could use his Undetectable Extension Charm box to evacuate everyone, then storm into S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters for a showdown. Right now, S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't have many capable fighters left.
Or he could throw the Hydra card into the mix and let them tear each other apart.
Besides, after a year of training, the young mutants—like Little Wolf Girl—had become adept at using their powers in combat.
Even if George didn't intervene, the kids could work together and prove to be more than a match for ordinary opponents.
"What's the plan? Should we relocate?" Professor X turned to George for his opinion.
Before George could answer, Wolverine extended his claws.
"Relocate? If anyone dares to harm even a single hair on these kids, I'll bury them all in the garden and use them as fertilizer!"
Professor X preferred avoiding conflict with the government to prevent exposure and the inevitable cycle of pursuit it would bring. Wolverine, on the other hand, wasn't concerned with such things and took a much harder stance.
"No need to relocate. Let's play along with them for now and have a proper discussion afterward."
George turned to the students standing behind him and said, "Until now, you've only practiced combat in the simulation room. Today, we'll conduct a real battle.
If your performance is good, I'll give you all a day off in a few days, and the professors will take you to the amusement park!"
"Principal, do you mean it?" The oldest and most composed student, Richter, asked excitedly.
Since Professor X had refused to take on the role of principal for the new school, George had assumed the position, though he didn't actually teach anything and spent most of his time in the basement researching magic.
"Of course! When have I ever lied to you?" George replied with a smile.
"Awesome! Long live the principal!" The mutant students cheered excitedly.
Over the past year, they had grown beyond being clueless children. They knew what an amusement park was—something they often saw on TV and dreamed of visiting.
However, having endured cruel experiments in the past, they deeply appreciated their current lives and never brought up such wishes, understanding their circumstances.
"George, isn't this a bit risky?" Professor X asked, a trace of worry on his face.
He wasn't concerned about the kids' safety in battle—he trusted their abilities and knew they would be protected during the fight.
What worried him was George's promise to take the kids to the amusement park. Doing so openly might attract the government's attention, or even alert other organizations to their existence.
"Don't worry. By the time we're ready to go, S.H.I.E.L.D. and the government will have bigger problems to deal with than us," George said with a dismissive wave.
He decided it was time to reclaim all of Professor X's assets and get the government to revoke the warrants against him.### Chapter 125: The Black Widow Invading the School (First Update)

An Hour Later
A black van stopped on the main road about 500 meters from the school. Inside the vehicle, several agents wearing S.H.I.E.L.D. uniforms and glasses fiddled with complex instruments.
Black Widow held a pair of binoculars, scanning in the direction of the school.
"Any findings? Did you detect anything unusual?"
"We've detected a strange magnetic field enveloping the area 500 meters ahead," one of the agents with glasses reported after some adjustments. "This magnetic field seems to be scrambling our minds, preventing us from perceiving the school's existence."
He turned the monitor toward Black Widow.
"Look here. Based on our instruments, the school still exists. We've also detected numerous life force signals within the magnetic field. This must be where the mutants are hiding."
"Is there any way to break through the interference so we can see the school?" Black Widow asked, frowning. She was confident the school hadn't moved, but the challenge now was how to bypass the field and get inside.
The bespectacled agent adjusted his glasses.
"That's not a problem. Once we return, we can design devices to counteract the magnetic field. With those, you'll be able to see the school normally without any interference."
"Good. Get back and make as many as possible. I'll report to the Director about the next steps."
Black Widow nodded, instructing the driver to take the van back to the base.
---
By evening, as the sky darkened, Black Widow returned, accompanied by three teams of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most elite agents. They positioned themselves in the forest across the road from the school's entrance.
"I'll go in first. Stay put and wait for my signal," she instructed.
"Understood!"
The combat elites from the S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy nodded in unison.
Dressed in a black tactical suit, Black Widow activated the magnetic field disruption device and sprinted across the road toward the school's perimeter wall at lightning speed.
Thanks to the device, she could now clearly see the school ahead.
With her skills, scaling the wall to infiltrate the school should have been a simple task.
"Ow!"
However, as she gripped the top of the wall and attempted to vault over, her face suddenly collided with what felt like an invisible barrier. She was sent sprawling to the ground.
"Natasha, are you okay?"
Concerned voices came through her earpiece from the agents in the forest.
Holding her nose and wincing in pain, Natasha stood up and replied, "I'm fine. Stay where you are for now."
She cautiously reached out to touch the area in front of her, finding no physical wall. Her face twisted in confusion.
Undeterred by the unexpected obstacle, she pressed on and climbed into the school grounds.
As soon as she landed, however, a figure stepped out to block her path.
"Good evening, miss. What brings you here at such a late hour?"
It was none other than George, standing before her with a calm smile.
