NATASHA MOUTH agape in surprised to see what it is Infront of her eyes. Her eyes blinking in disbelief. Prince Asher stand in front of her nonchalantly. In her mind she was thinking, hmmph...he's tall for a 14 years old. This is why he's the Canon Male Lead in the game. Natasha then stop her mind from wandering. This is not the time to Natasha! Natasha then, quickly go to Ace that was smirking like an idiot since the beginning. Her hand then grab Ace's hair....
"Ouch! Let go of me, you crazy wench!" Protested Ace. Natasha however didn't care and continue to drag her older brother by the hair until they're outside of the Library.
When she think that they are far enough from the Library. She stop her tracked and let go of her brother's hair. "Ouch! Whatever the hell was that, you crazy Natasha" Whined Ace, then proceed to fix his medium length hair that was a mess, because Natasha was pulling them just now.
"What is your best friend Prince Asher is doing here in our library, in the place that I am supposed to get my first magic lesson?"
"Wait...how do you know that, that was Asher? More importantly, how did you know that he is a Prince?" Ace was getting suspicious. To his knowledge he never did tell anything about Asher to Natasha. And this is just the 2nd time Asher has visited their estate.
"Err..." Natasha was hesitant. She started to think, how stupid she were asking question without any thought of people getting suspicious.
"Err...umm" Natasha starting to get nervous. Its not like, she did not want to tell the truth or wanted to lie about her previous life and how she came to know about Prince Asher. Its just that, even she tell people willingly, people would think that she's crazy.
"Err what? Do you have problem with my friend?" Replied Ace.
"Ah! My two favorite people" Duke Henry's voice interrupting the conversation between the two siblings. Only god knows how relieved Natasha felt , when her father interrupting their conversation. At least the topic will stop there.
Duke Henry came together with a man that they know too well. Baron Frederick Johann. A family friend of theirs. Occasionally, the Baron's family will come to their estate for tea. Baron Frederick is a decent man and the man with integrity. However, no matter how decent the gentleman is, Baron's family, are the family that Natasha should avoid, if she crave for peaceful and unproblematic life in this world. This is because Baron Frederick son is the 4th male lead, who was going to be a faithful Knight in the future. The 4th male lead named Khalid Johann.
"I don't have to introduce you two to my good friend Frederick right." Says Duke Henry.
"Of course father. How do you do, Uncle Frederick?" Natasha bobbed a curtsy to to the Baron, while Ace was bowing slightly. When they're like this, they really look like a really proper lady and a proper gentleman. Thought Duke Henry in his mind. Its hard to believe that, the actual fact that his two kids was the most wild and rowdy bunch among the noble. Though, he should be relieved that they carry themselves well in front of people. That is what his most grateful for these two. They really do their best to uphold the family appearance in front of people. This is the reason why, he was not so strict at home. Let's say, it is to give them a breather.
" I am doing great, my lady. It seems like both of you is getting bigger every time i come for a visit. Who would've thought that, soon Lord Ace will make his high society debut in his 16th birthday. Time does flies by. It will soon be my Khalid's 16th birthday as well."
"I heard, Uncle Frederick. I hope Khalid is doing well. Please do bring him here, occasionally. I also heard that his health is getting better?" Says Ace.
"Oh yes. We really glad and relieved that all of our effort to improve his health condition have finally came to fruitation." Replied Baron Frederick.
Natasha then think, how much long can she avoid Khalid Johann, when his father is a family friend. These past few years, even though the baron's family always visit for tea, it was calmer for her, since Khalid's character was a sickly character in the game, hence he always stayed at home as his body was not yet ready to be out and about. A few month ago, The baron and his wife, finally able to discover a way to improve Khalid's health. It was later reveal in the game on Khalid's route, that the things that improved Khalid's health was a potion that Baron's have been working on secretly by himself as Baron Frederick is one of a Magic Wielder, that specialize in potions and healing magic. Natasha believed that is one of the reason Baron's is here today.
"My lovely children, there's a reason why, Frederick is here today. I believe, we should head down to the library, so that we can talk more about this." Says Duke Henry then, he usher everyone to the Library
- Ali's Estate Library, same day -
INSIDE THE library, Prince Asher has taken his seat and waiting for everyone to come in. He is resting his chin on top of the table. As soon as he saw a few people coming in, the first thing that he is looking for was Natasha's figure. Once he saw her, he don't know why, but he felt a bit of excitement. Curiosity, even. This might be due to how he saw the way Natasha wield her magic that day. As he was staring at Natasha, Natasha was looking at him at the same time. Then their gaze found each other, while Natasha quickly look away, but his gaze on Natasha was lingering.
When she notice that she and Prince Asher was looking at each other, Natasha quickly look away. Natasha then take her seat and tried to sit far from the Prince. Prince Asher. As it has been mentioned before, Prince Asher was the canon male lead. He have a pair of hazel eyes and brown hair. In the game, Prince Asher was the Tsundere character. The game setting begins when the Female Protagonist Adeline White reach her 20th birthday and meet Prince Asher. And that was his first appearance. That is why, Natasha did not expect that he's going to meet the prince as early as when the prince is 14 years old. In the game plot doesn't really showed that Ace and Prince Asher was a childhood friends. All the game shows is just, that they were friends before they meet the female protagonist, but never mentioned the exact timeframe, when they started being friends.
"Ah! Your highness. i hope you are comfortable here, please just let my daughter know if you need anything."
"Most definitely Duke Henry. Thank you for your hospitality" Replied Prince Asher to Duke Henry.
"This might come as a surprised for you sweetie, but Prince Asher, discovered that he is a Magic Wielder as well, early this year. As you know how Magic Wielder is being perceived in the Kingdom, No one can ever know that Prince Asher is a Magic Wielder. Especially when Prince Asher is from a Royal family." Duke Henry explained.
Natasha eyes then blinking, disbelief of what she just heard. Prince Asher is a Magic Wielder? Its a surprised indeed. Because in the game, it was not mentioned that Prince Asher is a Magic Wielder. It was only said that Prince Asher was a formidable opponent in the battlefield, not because he is a Magic Wielder, but it is because no one in the kingdom can compare to how magnificent his sword skill is.
"This is why, Prince Asher have to learn Magic secretly with you here and Frederick will be teaching both of you the theory, practical and how to control your magic."
"On that note, both me and my son, have taken a lot your time. We apologize for that being the reason of your delayed lesson. We will now, see ourselves out. Please do focus on your lesson. Come Ace." Said Duke Henry, then usher himself and Ace out from the library.
"Hmm...My Lady, Can you please sit next to Prince Asher? It will be much practical for you and the Prince to be next to each other, so that you can help each other out" Frederick requested. With much reluctant, Natasha then take her seat next to Prince Asher.
"Ah. Much better. Let us begin." Says Baron Frederick and started to jot down something on the board with a chalk.
"Although, my magic specialize in potions and healing, i will have you know, my offensive magic is as good as any other Battle Mage...Hence I will guide you on how to control your magic with precision." The Baron continued.
The lesson continued. Whilst focusing on the Magic lesson, Natasha can't help to think that, how can she avoid the disaster of her own demise, when she is now tangled with 3 of the main leads. No matter how hard she tried to avoid, but these coincident kept on coming as if to show that no matter what she does, she will never be able to prevent her demise. These thought scared her. But, this doesn't stop her, rather her making her determination stronger.
