Chapter 12 - Chapter 3: The Truth of Aurelia

"You can be free," I said, my voice softening.

"Even the lawful captive shall be delivered."Aurelia faltered, her dark magic wavering. "There is no freedom for me," she whispered.

"Not unless... you release me."I didn't understand what she meant, but I knew that I had to try. Summoning the full power of Zion, I reached out and touched her heart.

The darkness inside Aurelia screamed as the power of Zion surged into her. For a moment, I thought it would consume us both. But then, something changed.

The shadows around her dissolved, and I saw the woman she had once been—a queen, but also a prisoner of a force far greater than either of us.Tears filled her eyes as she collapsed to her knees. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

"You've given me a chance to be free."I knelt beside her, feeling the weight of our shared fate. We were no longer enemies, but allies in a battle against the darkness that sought to consume the galaxy.

Together, we returned to Mount Zion, the heart of Helios's magic. The people of Helios, Amara by my side, and even Aurelia, now free from her chains, stood with us as we prepared for the final confrontation with the dark forces that had sought to enslave us all.The battle was fierce, but the power of Zion, fueled by love, hope, and redemption, was stronger. As we stood on Mount Zion, the sacred place of my ancestors, the prophecy was fulfilled: "Upon Mount Zion, there shall be deliverance.

"The darkness was vanquished, and for the first time in what felt like an eternity, I knew peace. Helios was free, and so was I ,no longer a captive prince, but a king, destined to lead my people into a new age of light.

It had been a year since the final battle on Mount Zion. Peace had settled over Helios, and life flourished once more under the twin suns. Amara and I had rebuilt the kingdom together, our love stronger than ever.

Aurelia had returned to Nexa, now its rightful queen, free from the darkness that once ruled her. For the first time in a long while, I allowed myself to believe that the worst was behind us.

But peace is often fleeting. One night, as I stood alone on the balcony of the royal palace, gazing out over the glowing city of Solaris, a familiar chill crawled up my spine.

The air felt heavier, as if the weight of the cosmos had shifted ever so slightly. I closed my eyes, feeling the energy of Mount Zion far in the distance. Something was wrong.

Suddenly, the night was split by a blinding flash of light. I turned toward the horizon and saw it , a tear in the fabric of reality itself, a rift opening in the skies above Mount Zion. The stars seemed to swirl around it, drawn into its maw like water circling a drain.
