The cat's appearance was both mesmerizing and terrifying. Its ebony fur blended seamlessly into the dark night, making it almost invisible except for its piercing green emerald slitting pupils that seemed to gleam with a wild intensity.
Its eyes were beast-like, yet intelligent, as they evaluated and calculated the strength of their prey.
Its body was bipedal, with a perfect fit of muscle that seemed to be focused on agility rather than strength. Its limbs were lean and long, ending in paws that sported shining purplish blade-like claws that slightly protruded from its paws like a deadly cutter's blade.
Its tail swayed slowly back and forth, creating a little to no noise as it moved, like a serpent slithering through the grass.
But what took my attention was the red orb-like crystal that glowed with an eerie light on its forehead. It was about the size of a marble, bigger than any crystal that I had seen through this journey.
I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as I gazed at it. And warily make a fighting stances with my javelin guarding in front of me.
'It's bigger than the giant rats, somehow I slowly understand the pattern of the chaos creature with red orbs, could it be that all the intelligent commander class have these red orbs as the symbol?'
As I began to mulling over the theory in my head, This ebony jaguar-like cat silently stared at me with a relaxed posture, seemingly oblivious to my threatening gesture.
It didn't flinch or tense up, even as I began to point my javelin towards it with my javelin like a fencer. Instead, it gazed at me with an air of nonchalance, as if it was completely confident in its own abilities.
Its eyes seemed to bore into mine, and I could feel its intelligence, as he continued assessing me as a prey.
For a moment, we locked eyes, the only sound being the heavy breathing of the night air. It was a standoff, with neither of us willing to make the first move. And yet, despite the tension, I couldn't help but feel a sense of fascination and wonder at this creature who gave off a warrior-like aura even though it was just a bipedal cat.
And so, with this standoff, I began to examine the red orb which was gleaming in its forehead once again, as I began to remember about the Tiger-cat who doesn't have this characteristic.
My mind reeling with questions as I stared at the red orb crystal embedded on the ebony cat's head.
'Was the tiger cat still giving me Exp after I killed it? Or the theory of creatures who only had this orb in their head are the only ones giving me Exp stand true?'
I had so many questions, but before I could even process them, the ebony bipedal cat cut into my thoughts.
It pointed a chubby paw at me, its paw suddenly flipping before it swayed its finger up in a mocking manner, seemingly challenging me.
I saw a sneer in the corner of its mouth, and my annoyance grew, as a vein pulsing in my head.
"A mere cat..." I muttered, my anger simmering just below the surface.
As I whispered, I felt a surge of frustration and rage, and I spat a little blood which seemed to begin to accumulate after its greeting strike before.
My eyes locked onto the Ebony cat once again.
I could feel the fire burning within me, a fierce determination to take on whatever lay ahead. Thus, I took a step forward, my javelin at the ready.
The cat's ears twitched, its tail lashing back and forth. It didn't back down. Instead, it seemed to be savoring the moment, its eyes locked on mine. I could feel the air thickening with tension.
With a fierce cry, I charged forward, my javelin flashing in the dim light.
Clank!!!
Swissh!! Swish!
Clasasasa!!
The air was electric with tension as we clashed, our movements lightning-fast as we danced around each other. I could feel the Ebony cat's power with every clash we had, its agility and strength was slightly better than mine, but I was still determined to take it down.
'This Ebony cat is strong and fast!? But its strength seems below that Tiger-cat. Maybe an assassin type? The way it struck at me and caught me off guard before signifies that it's already been eyeing me for a quite long time'
We continued to clash in a blur of speed and agility, our movements began creating whirlwinds of wind and air pressure that sent small debris flying in all directions.
Actually, all since the beginning of the battle, I was caught off guard, not expecting to be forced to fight in close combat like this.
But the way this cat treated me like shit, somehow reminded me of the annoying manager who was always mocking me at every chance in the company I worked before.
My javelin, which was usually my trusted companion, felt cumbersome in the face of the cat's lightning-fast movements.
'I should learn some close combat techniques later, the javelin is not suitable for close combat like this. Its range was smaller than a spear and it was less lethal than a sword… damn!'
The cat began to notice my dull, novice movement, as we continued.
Smirk
It began to sneer and intensified its onslaught on me.
Swuush!
Swuush!
With a sharp like clawing movement, it began to swing its paw more swiftly, creating an after image. The Ebony cat began to push me slowly but surely.
'Ck!! This mofo!'
Annoyed as I began to lose in the bout of combat, I began to rely on my instincts, striking out with quick jabs and slashes, trying to keep the cat at bay.
I can stop its advance, but only for a short moment of time.
As I began to retaliate fiercely with my instinctive move, Its body bent and twisted in impossible ways as it danced around me, its movements bedazzling, acrobatic, and somewhat aesthetic. It was like watching a martial artist perform a series of fancy movements.
"Fvvkin hell??!! Are you kidding me??!"
The cat's paws barely touched the ground as it leapt and flipped through the air, its body arcing and curving like a gymnast on the vault. Its tail was a blur of motion, lashing back and forth like a whip, striking me with precision and power.
Clang!!
-5!
Clang clang clang!!
-5!
-5!
-5!
'Ughhh…' blocking with my javelin to cover my lethal point, I groaned by the sheer force from its tail swipe.

I stumbled backward, my eyes wide with shock and amazement. I had never seen anything like this before. The cat's movements were so fast, and fluid, that it seemed to cross the limit of humans.
But I was no slouch either. In my younger days I always fought with the bully from the orphanage, thus, I am confident to say that I had a great ability to adapt to any situation.
I fell back on my training on my younger days, relying on my instincts to guide me through the battle.
I struck out with a quick stab, my javelin jab flying through the air with precision, creating an image like a storm. But the Ebony cat was just too fast, and it dodged the blow with ease.

'Damn it, this movement drains my stamina like crazy… but if I do not try hard, I can't push this bastard even a little bit!!'
While I still full with my own mind, trying to find a way to get the advantage of the battle
The Ebony cat countered with a lightning-fast strike, its paw flashing through the air like a razor-sharp claw.
I barely had time to react, but I managed to raise my javelin in time to block the blow.
CLANK!!!
-10!
The impact sent shockwaves through my arm, but I held firm, my grip-like steel. Albeit it still take 10 point of my HP.

'And my stamina point of course… seems like blocking its attack not coming for free'
….
..
.
I fought on, exchanging blow after blow with the ebony cat. But as the fight wore on, I began to feel the strain. My stamina was reaching its limits, and I could feel myself starting to lose.
The cat's movements were becoming faster and more precise, its paws striking with deadly accuracy. I tried to defend myself, but the cat's attacks were relentless, wearing me down with each passing moment.

Sweat dripped from my brow, my muscles screaming in protest as I blocked and parried the cat's blows. My breathing was ragged, my chest heaving with effort, but I refused to give up.
The cat's eyes seemed to gleam with a malevolent intensity, its gaze piercing through me like a scalpel. Its fur was slick with a slight sweat, its sculpted muscles rippling beneath its skin like a predator ready to dash into its prey.
The air was thick with tension, the wind howling through the alleyway like a bereaved spirit. The sound of clashing steel echoed through the night, the scent of sweat and blood hanging heavy in the air.
CLANK!!!

I stumbled backward, my legs trembling beneath me. I could feel my strength ebbing away, my vision blurring at the edges. The Ebony cat's attacks were becoming more frequent, its blows landing with precision and power.
BANG!
-30!
Ignored, the heavy strike, I raised my javelin, my arm shaking with effort. I tried to strike back, but my movements were slow and clumsy, my reactions dulled by exhaustion.
The Ebony cat saw its chance, and it pounced once again. Its paw flashed through the air, striking me with precision and power.
CRUNCH!
-40!
I tried to block the blow, but it was too late. The cat's paw connected with a sickening crunch, sending me crashing to the ground.
The world spun around me, my vision blurring as I struggled to rise. But it was no use. I was beaten, my strength spent.

'Seems… like I still underestimate this chaos creature…ugh…. My body feel heavy'
The Ebony cat loomed over me, its eyes blazing with triumph, as I realized that I was on the brink of defeat.
I lay there, helpless and vulnerable, as the ebony cat slowly approached me. Its sharp claws glinted menacingly under the moonlight, and its eyes seemed to bore into my soul, as if savoring the moment of victory.
I was still reeling from the previous blow, and I couldn't do anything but lie there, at the cat's mercy.
"Urghhh… is this the end?... don't tell me, my fate will end up the same as Eren, but different from him, i don't think my body will regenerate after getting sliced to pieces by this bastard…."
But just as the cat was about to deliver the final blow, a shadow suddenly rushed forward, blocking its way. The cat's eyes flashed with a surprise, its ears folding back in annoyance, as it was confronted by this new figure.
I watched in awe as the shadow towered over the cat, its huge presence seeming to fill the entire alleyway. But I didn't know why but I found "her" presence was kind of familiar.
As reminded by "her" mere presence, a sudden memory of the past flashed before me, made me dumbfounded.
"Huh?? Mowley??!!"
