Chapter 1 - The Beginning of Vengeance

There was a boy named Leonidas. His parents had to go to war, and they had no choice but to leave him behind at home. When Leonidas heard this, he pretended to sleep in his bedroom. Once he was sure the maid had locked the gate and left, he slightly opened his eyes to check. Confirming that everyone was gone, he reached under his bed, pulled out a book and a katana, and quietly slipped out of the house. He made his way to the back of the castle, where he found the entrance to the basement.

He opened the door and descended into the basement, arriving at a secret training ground he had built. Inside, he met two people—an experienced soldier and a young boy. The soldier was teaching them how to fight. Suddenly, they heard a strange sound from above, like a meteor crashing. The soldier decided to check what was happening, but it was too late—their way out had already been blocked. The soldier understood that there was no escape.

At that moment, something came to the soldier's mind. His body reacted on its own, and even though he didn't fully understand what he was doing, he managed to open a portal. The soldier knew that if the president's son wasn't saved, no one could save the country. With this in mind, the soldier pushed Leonidas through the portal, sacrificing himself in the process. The soldier was crushed by falling debris and died while saving Leonidas.

As Leonidas went through the portal, fear overcame him, and he passed out. When he regained consciousness, he found himself in a simple house. He then heard the voice of an old man. The old man asked, "Are you alright, child?"

Leonidas sat up on the bed and asked, "Who are you? How did I get here? And where are my parents?"

The old man replied, "Calm down first, my boy. I'll explain everything, but first, tell me—do you remember who you are?"

Leonidas nodded, "Yes, I'm Leonidas, the son of the president of Elzaria."

The old man said, "Good, you remember that. Now, listen carefully to what I'm about to tell you, and don't panic. Your parents died while protecting the army and citizens of your country. They sacrificed themselves by taking the full force of that meteor, which burned at 78,967 degrees Celsius. They melted away, and their bodies were never found. They're no longer in this world."

Hearing this, Leonidas cried bitterly.
