Chapter 1 - The Prophecy Begins

"On a certain day

To an uncertain parent

A child shall be born

Of both man and woman

Under all the stars in the sky

They shall unite all nations as one

And bring peace, forevermore."

This was the prophecy Queen Verichiel received when she asked how to save her nation from being divided from the inside out.

The Queen stood alone in a golden circle that surrounded a tree. She had long golden and braided hair that swept down to her feet; her figure was goddess-like, standing over ten feet tall with curves in all the right places.

She rubbed her belly, it was extremely swollen if anyone saw her now, it would be unmistakable that she was pregnant.

Verichiel walked to the tree, raising her hand to its trunk, and stroked it.

"Years… no… decades of rising tensions, all of which shall end, starting today."

Her eyes glowed gold as she raised both her arms to the sky.

"The law of the whole world bends towards my will! Come forth, child of the stars, save us all!"

In an instant, all the stars in the sky began to glow, producing golden threads connected to each other, forming an endless constellation.

Verichiel smiled and laid beside the tree, waiting to give birth. She looked up at the sky and reflected on what brought her here.

It was many years ago, in her Nation of Balthalem, word began to spread of separation. Many nobles began to hold the desire to branch out, to not be under the Queen's rule any longer.

This was an act of treason, an act of betrayal. She and her ancestors, the Aetree Speakers, built up this glorious nation for hundreds of years. They had a goal of a unified world where all would reach peace and prosperity under the same banner.

In her eyes, any deviation led to the path of folly. Why would anyone not desire the peace that was offered to them if only to cause war and discord?

That was why Verichiel sought out a way to unify them, to unify everyone. She found her answer in a prophecy that foretold of a child that would do just that.

Her plan was set. She would create a ritual where she connected all the stars in the sky together as one and give birth under it to a Promised Prince.

It took a few months, but it was finally here. Her body began to glow, and she could feel immense power flow through her…

----------

A blonde woman groaned in pain as she clutched her stomach. She stumbled within the woods, panting, out of breath, and dirty.

Her thoughts were mixed, unable to form a single cohesive idea except one:

How did I get pregnant?!

She doubled over and fell down to the ground, tears in her eyes as she went into unexpected labor.

Her name was Myrym, a noblewoman who was not even a proper princess, only given that title because she was forced to marry a prince.

Now, thanks to that blessing of nobility, she was being hunted for her status across the nation.

Earlier that day, she was simply enjoying a nice cup of tea before her estate was raided by a group of separatists, rebels who wished to use her as a means of political leverage.

When Myrym fled with a group of servants, she found her stomach slowly growing in size as the day went on. When they finally made it to a safe island, she was already panting and in need of medical help.

However, her group was once more ambushed by the separatists, and she was forced to flee into the woods.

"Ugh… why… today…"

It was her day off, too, since it was when the Promised Prince was supposed to be born after all. There was going to be a festival, her time to relax from all the stress of nobility.

Now, instead, she was on an island, in the middle of nowhere, screaming into the night sky thanks to some Magickal pregnancy that she was given out of nowhere.

To make it even worse, she was a virgin. The other nobles would constantly look down on her for being not so popular with the men despite her good looks.

Myrym cried to herself softly. She was going to die here or just be used as some kind of political chess piece. She had no idea which was better.

She looked up at the night sky, gazing at all the stars. She noticed that they were all shining brighter than usual, although that could just be her delirium caused by the immense pain that her body was experiencing.

Myrym's breath began to slow down, her consciousness fading as she finally gave in and fainted. The last few thoughts in her head were a small prayer.

One asking for anything, or anyone to come and save her.

Myrym's body started to glow white, levitating off the ground as it completely covered her body in a blinding light.

---------

 "Who am I?"

A lone voice spoke out in the vastness of space. It was that of a child, one filled with innocence and joy.

"You are called to be the king and savior of the world."

All the stars in the sky began to glow.

"What am I supposed to do?"

"Save the world and rule over it."

They began to shoot out threads of golden light at each other, creating an intricate web of constellations that illuminated the universe.

"How will I save and rule over it?"

"You will learn that on your travels."

The strands of light eventually reached the planet, coalescing into one ball that hovered over it like a second sun.

"What is my Name?"

"Your mother shall give it to you."

The ball expanded, turning into a plant that took root on the planet and began to blossom into a mighty golden tree that shrouded whole regions with its shade.

"Who's my mother?"

However, there was no answer, only a blinding flash of light that filled the child's senses.

Then, the light soon faded. The child found themselves naked in a forest, and in his arms was an unconscious blonde woman.
