The ride back to Zerem was silent. Everyone aside from Nasiah seemed to be in rather high spirits, laughing and talking about their fights with the Jinn and how they managed to handle them.
Myrym noticed her son's silence. While she knew he was the type to speak carefully, she also knew he was the type to reflect on everything that would happen.
And that lady, that Jinn. Kalila was her Name, while Myrym herself never really cared for what that Jinn said; what she did care about was how it affected Nasiah.
Now, the only question was how to approach this. Was it to probe now or later?
After some thinking, she decided to do so later. Nasiah was probably still processing what had just occurred, and he needed a breath of fresh air.
So, for now, she simply patted his head and hugged him, holding that he could at least smile inside, and to her joy, he began to glow softly.
