"Hey, can you hear me? Can you understand what I'm saying?" asked Athoi.
Nabil finally managed to see clearly, but when he tried to move, he fell unconscious again.
A white figure with wings and multiple eyes, floating invisibly in the air, smirked and said, "This boy keeps losing consciousness. It seems like he faints multiple times a day. I know viewers will be frustrated seeing him pass out so often. I feel for the kid, but it's all for the story. And frankly, I only care about viewership."
With that, the white figure disappeared.
---
Athoi looked at Nabil and thought, *At least he's alive. It's pointless for me to stay here. This dragon must be his pet. I'm not sure how he managed it.*
She picked up her sword and said, "It's good that he's unconscious. Now I can leave."
As she started to walk away, Hexnju stopped her with a gentle bite.
"Is he telling me to stay?" Athoi asked, glancing at Hexnju.
Her system responded,
"Yeah, just as I suspected. But is it really possible to tame them? And it's not attacking me."
"I guess this boy has the Pet ability. I avoided taking it because I thought it was useless, but the way Hexnju defeated the giant frog is impressive," Athoi said.
She then teleported to a distant mountain, avoiding Hexnju.
"I don't care. I'll avoid teaming up or talking with other players. This is the second time I've seen him in a near-death situation," she thought, remembering their last encounter.
---
That day, she had stabbed Nabil three times but then stopped. "No, I can't do this. Some coins aren't worth a life. At least he didn't harm me," she reflected.
Seeing Nabil's condition, she began to heal him. After a few moments, her system notified her,
"I have only one potion. Should I use it?"
Despite the advice, she used the potion to save him.
She then reached a cave, her shelter, and left Nabil there. She started a campfire and covered him with a leaf bandage before leaving.
As she walked away, she thought, *I used a potion of life to save him, but if he dies now, the sacrifice will be for nothing. He's unarmed, so I should leave some armor and weapons.*
She returned to the cave, left a set of armor and equipment, and then departed.
---
Reflecting on their last encounter, she checked her inventory and saw she had three potions left.
"I hope I never see him again. I used another potion of life on him today. I'm sure if we meet again, it'll be the same," she thought before disappearing in a teleportation spell.
---
Three hours later:
Nabil opened his eyes and saw it was night. He looked around and saw Hexnju beside him, rubbing against him affectionately.
"Wow, I survived again. This time, it felt like I really died. Wait, I saw a girl," Nabil said.
Coin count - 632,101 + 900,000 = 1,532,101. Points - 578,031 + 26,430 = 604,461. Health - 100 (recovered).
"Wow, I've reached level 53. I was at level 42 yesterday!"
He looked at Hexnju and said, "I don't know how you became my pet, but hi, I'm Nabil. I'm going to name you 'White Fire.'"
The dragon seemed pleased and started licking Nabil.
"Hey, stop... Stop..." Nabil laughed.
He looked around and noticed no mobs nearby.
"It's night, but there are no mobs around? Where did they go?"
"So, they're scared of White Fire?"
"I see. So when White Fire is around, I'm safe."
While powerful, he's still a B-tier monster on the world scale.> "Wait, how did he defeat the frog then?" Size doesn't always equate to strength A, B-tier creature can defeat a Bondax. An S-tier creature, even if the size of a rat, could destroy a continent with a single blow.> "How is that possible?" . . . Day 21 Whitefire flew high in the sky, with Nabil sitting on its back, scanning the ground below with a desperate expression. "Where will I find Leon now? I don't even remember where I left him," Nabil muttered. He patted Whfi's neck. "Whitefire, if you see any white lion with a horn, land immediately." Whitefire nodded in understanding. Nabil sighed. "By the way, I'm changing your name to Whfi. Spelling 'Whitefire' is a hassle, and it feels too weird. Is that okay?" Whitefire nodded again, accepting the new name (Whfi). --- One Hour Later Whfi landed beside a waterfall, and Nabil dismounted, heading straight for the water to drink. "I can't remember the last time I ate something. Maybe two days ago, but I don't feel that hungry anymore. Still, I could use some food now," Nabil thought aloud, looking around and spotting meter-tall chickens running about. "Wow, those chickens are huge! Are they edible?" Whfi didn't wait for further instructions and blasted a red fireball at one of the chickens, instantly frying it. Whfi then charged at the remaining chickens, unleashing more fireballs. The chickens fought back, but Whfi managed to kill them all and started feasting on their meat. "Oh, I see. I almost forgot about his hunger," Nabil said, walking over to Whfi. Whfi, seeing Nabil, tore off a piece of cooked chicken and offered it to him. "Thanks," Nabil said, taking the meat and eating it. After finishing his meal, Nabil climbed back onto Whfi, and they took to the sky once more. Nabil checked his map, looking for another open field. "I don't have any armor, tools, or anything useful in my inventory. Just some pieces of meat, a few potions, and this crystal. My sword is in good shape, though. I have a chestplate with 2.5% health, and my leather clothes are falling apart. I've got an arrow and some bows, but that's it. I have a lot of coins but no resources to build anything. More importantly, I need to find Leon. I can't concentrate on anything else until I do." As they flew, various birds scattered in fear at the sight of Whfi. They flew all day until nightfall. "Whfi, do you need to rest?" Whfi shook its head, indicating no. "Even so, I think he needs a break," Nabil said. "Whfi, land near a pond or waterfall." Whfi nodded and began searching for a suitable spot. Suddenly, large birds started following them and attacking with their sharp beaks. Whfi turned and shot fireballs, but the birds dodged. Nabil counted over ten birds of the same species pursuing them. The Fedras attacked relentlessly. One swooped down on Nabil, who defended himself with his sword. The Fedras' relentless pecking began to cause Whfi to bleed. Seeing this, Nabil leaped from Whfi's back, targeting a Fedra's head and slicing it off. Using the fallen Fedra as a platform, he jumped onto another Fedra, aiming for its throat. Another Fedra attacked, causing Nabil to start bleeding. Whfi swooped in, ripping off the attacking Fedra's head and catching Nabil. Safely back on Whfi's back, Nabil drew his bow and began shooting arrows, slowing the Fedras down. Once they had flown far enough from the Fedras, they landed in an empty field. Nabil dismounted, his hand bleeding profusely. Whfi began to lick the wound, healing it slowly. Exhausted, Nabil looked around, saw no immediate threats, and fell asleep with relief. Whfi continued to lick his hand until it was healed, then fell asleep beside him. --- **Three Hours Later** Nabil woke to the sound of zombies approaching. He looked around, panicked, and saw them coming closer. "Oh no," he muttered, shaking Whfi awake. Before he could react, lions entered the area, attacking the zombies. Among them, a white lion with a horn commanded the others. "Leon! It's Leon!" Nabil exclaimed, recognizing the field where he had left Leon. Leon ran toward Nabil, but Whfi, sensing danger, prepared a fireball. "Stop! Don't attack him!" Nabil shouted. Whfi hesitated, then lowered its fireball. Nabil stood up and hugged Leon, who rubbed against him affectionately. "I missed you, Leon," Nabil said, tears of relief in his eyes.
