Yuichi Yuuki looked at Uchiha Obito, a smirk forming on his lips.
"Heh heh heh, I didn't expect another one to walk right into my grasp!"
"Damn it! What are you doing here?!"
Uchiha Obito's gaze fixed on Nohara Rin, who lay in a pool of blood with the others. The thought of training with her today had filled him with excitement, only for this tragedy to unfold. Everyone here was precious to him!
"Did you rush here to protect them?" Yuichi Yuuki continued taunting, attempting to intensify Obito's feelings. "But what are you protecting?"
"Hahahaha! If they die, you'll be next!"
Obito, trembling with anger, rushed to Nohara Rin's side, holding her "lifeless" body in his arms as tears dripped down his face.
"Rin!"
Though embarrassed, Nohara Rin's blushing face went unnoticed beneath the fake blood. Obito's anguish and fury caused his Sharingan to activate, forming a two-tomoe pattern in each eye. He felt intense pain but glared at Yuichi with newfound power.
Asuma Sarutobi and Kakashi, observing from the ground, realized their acting had served its purpose as Obito unlocked his Sharingan. They slowly stood up, drawing Obito's stunned gaze.
"You guys?!"
As Obito processed this revelation, Yuichi Yuuki canceled his transformation and began laughing. Yuhi Kurenai, also rising, teased Obito about his affection for Rin.
"Obito, looks like you really care about Rin~"
Embarrassed, Rin gently freed herself from Obito's grasp, congratulating him. "Obito, you've awakened your Sharingan!"
Stunned, Obito blinked, looking around to see everyone smiling. Yuichi Yuuki patted him on the shoulder. "Yesterday, didn't you say you'd do whatever it takes to awaken the Sharingan, no matter the pain?"
"The Uchiha's Sharingan is known as the 'eye of love,'" Yuichi continued, explaining its power and pain to the group. "When one experiences deep love, friendship, or family ties, and then loses them, the Sharingan awakens. But losing these bonds can also lead to mental instability."
The team's expressions turned sympathetic as they realized Obito must truly value them as close friends. Asuma, though, couldn't help but comment, "So both you and Obito are now… a bit mentally off?"
Yuichi sighed. "My Sharingan came from eye drops, not emotional trauma!"
Relieved but slightly embarrassed, the group then focused on Obito, who fell unconscious due to emotional exhaustion. They agreed to take him to Konoha Hospital, heading there covered in blood-stained plasma, drawing concerned glances from villagers.
Meanwhile, in the Hokage's office, Hiruzen Sarutobi observed them with his crystal ball. Seeing Obito awaken his Sharingan, he mused, "Such talent. Perhaps with the Will of Fire, he could lead the Uchiha." As he pondered Obito's potential, he also ordered an Anbu operative to ensure Danzo stayed in check.
In Konoha Hospital, Might Guy, carrying Obito, and the others drew the attention of a young nurse. "What happened to you all?"
"Just plasma," Yuichi Yuuki replied with a sheepish grin, assuring her they were fine.
The nurse, bemused, told them to clean up and went to fetch Tsunade, the hospital's director. She found Tsunade chatting with Kushina Uzumaki, both enjoying a rare moment of leisure. With a smirk, the nurse prepared to interrupt their conversation with news of the odd, blood-covered group.
As the Jinchūriki of the village, Uzumaki Kushina couldn't leave Konoha and often found herself bored, so she spent her time with Tsunade, who was the perfect company. Uchiha Mikoto was also part of their circle, and the two frequently went shopping together. Although Sarutobi Hiruzen knew associating with the Uchiha could be delicate, he didn't object if it was just Uchiha Mikoto.
Tsunade and Kushina were deep in conversation when a knock interrupted them. Slightly annoyed, Tsunade called out, "Come in."
The nurse entered, lowering her head respectfully at the sight of Tsunade, and asked with admiration, "Tsunade-sama, may a few children use the hospital bathroom?"
Tsunade, thinking something serious was amiss, was initially speechless. "What children?" she asked, wondering why there were kids needing a bath in the hospital.
Misunderstanding her question as a request for names, the nurse hesitated before answering, "I don't know all their names, but one of them is the Sandaime's child."
Realizing the misunderstanding but not particularly interested, Tsunade continued, "Are they injured and in need of a wash?"
"Uh, no," the nurse replied, bowing her head. "But they got covered in plasma, and they smell strongly of blood."
"No way!" Tsunade responded, growing impatient. "The hospital bathroom isn't open to just anyone."
However, upon hearing that the Third Hokage's child was among them, Kushina seemed to recall something. "Among those kids, is there one with red hair and one with white hair?" she asked.
