Chapter 52 - Chapter 52: hehehe

"The Rinnegan of Senile Ban can control both repulsion and attraction, and as a handsome young man known in the area, Yuichi Yuuki can too!" Yuichi Yuuki's thoughts were bold.

[A/N: I Don't know what is this either]

"At worst, I can just try to get a template for Nagato or Senile Ban in the future," he mused.

Yuichi Yuuki's perspective was realistic: rely on his own efforts to fight for it. If things didn't work out, he still had his plug-in ability to lean on.

As Yuichi Yuuki stood there, thinking with his hair still wet from the training, Yuhi Shinku watched and shook his head. He knew exactly what was on Yuichi's mind.

When he had practiced climbing trees and walking on water, Shinku had also wondered if he could control these two chakra properties. But after many attempts, it was a resounding failure.

However, he didn't tell Yuichi Yuuki this. Let the kid experiment on his own. Sometimes, great talents were discovered through sheer guesswork, as Shinku had learned with his talent for genjutsu.

Even if Yuichi didn't succeed, it would be a good learning experience for him. Without further comment, Yuhi Shinku found a comfortable spot and laid down on the sofa.

Every time he returned from a mission, it was exhausting—even for simpler C-rank missions like clearing out bandits. Even when he didn't have to take direct action as a team leader, it took a toll.

"This time, I'm going to rest properly!" Yuhi Shinku stretched comfortably, speaking lazily.

Ninja missions weren't like games where tasks refreshed endlessly. As seen in the original work, Team 7 only completed seven D-rank missions and one C-rank mission in half a year. Similarly, Might Guy's team only completed 20 D-rank and 11 C-rank missions in a year and a half.

In peacetime, missions were infrequent. When there weren't bandits to eliminate or crops to harvest, the village would assign minor tasks like finding runaway pets. But larger missions only ramped up during times of war.

At that moment, Yuhi Kurenai stepped out of the bathroom in fresh clothes. "I'm done!"

Hearing this, Yuichi Yuuki immediately dashed into his room to grab fresh clothes and hurried into the bathroom.

Since returning from the training ground, he had been soaking wet, and the afternoon sun had only partially dried him, making him uncomfortable.

Kurenai, watching him dart into the bathroom, remembered something and shouted, "I haven't drained the water yet!"

"It's fine, I don't mind!" came Yuichi Yuuki's voice from the bathroom.

Kurenai blushed and muttered, "Pervert!"

Yuichi didn't mind at all, thinking to himself that after falling into the stream countless times together during training, there was no way the bathwater could be any dirtier.

After a long while, Yuichi emerged from the bathroom, acting as if nothing had happened, only to find Kurenai sitting in the living room, recounting their recent events to Yuhi Shinku.

Upon seeing Yuichi, Kurenai's face turned red again, while Shinku's expression darkened considerably.

Sensing danger, Yuichi quickly grabbed Kurenai's hand, and they darted out the door. "Uncle Shinku, we're heading to school!" he called over his shoulder.

Yuhi Shinku took a deep breath. He had raised Yuichi himself, so as annoyed as he was, he couldn't lash out at him.

As the school bell rang, Yuichi and Kurenai took their seats in the classroom. Yuichi glanced around, and when he noticed Uchiha Obito also present, he rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

Poking Kakashi, who sat in front of him, Yuichi asked curiously, "Isn't Obito always late?"

Kakashi turned to glance at Yuichi and then at Obito before replying, "To avoid being late, he bought some dango on the way here and is eating them in class."

Hearing this, Kurenai was bewildered. Eating dango in class just to avoid being late? How paranoid could one be about tardiness?

But then she remembered that this was Uchiha Obito, and she let it slide. If anyone else had done this, she would have been confused, but with Obito, she could only nod in understanding.

Uchiha Obito, for better or worse, had some unique traits.

The afternoon class, once again, focused on the Will of Fire—Konoha's ever-present mantra. Yuichi Yuuki found it dull, though he acknowledged how effective this kind of indoctrination was in a world like theirs. With a general population that was largely illiterate and quick to follow orders, such teachings could mold people with ease.

Even the smart ones had their quirks. Orochimaru was a perfect example of this: highly intelligent, but no less driven by extreme ideals.

The ninja world wasn't only filled with Uchiha-level obsession. Many ninja exhibited paranoia, but the Uchiha, with their Sharingan, were just more extreme about it.

Yuichi pondered these things as he continued to endure the monotony of school. His days consisted of practicing at the training grounds in the morning, attending classes in the afternoon, and then learning from Yuhi Shinku in the evening.

This routine continued for four days.

Then, one morning, while standing on a flowing stream, Yuichi Yuuki let out a victorious cheer.

"I did it! I finally did it!" he yelled in triumph, standing on the water with joy. His elation reached such a height that his 1.5-tomoe Sharingan flickered into existence.

Asuma Sarutobi, standing on the riverbank, was drenched and looked at Yuichi Yuuki with envy. He had finished tree climbing training and could now control his chakra better, thanks to the training his mother had made him endure.

Kakashi, also wet but in much better shape than Asuma, stood nearby as well. Though his lower body was soaked, Kakashi's progress was impressive, and he was nearly done mastering water walking.

Yuichi Yuuki stood proudly on the water, casting a smug glance at his peers.

"Compared to me, no one is even close!" he declared arrogantly.
