This ancient civilization is led by Chief Marlo, an elder with unparalleled knowledge of geography and biology. Marlo, a man born centuries too early, would have likely been a chief executive officer of a marine biology firm had he lived in a more advanced age.
Marlo was a fair man. Though he was constantly in pursuit of knowledge, he never ridiculed others for their ignorance. Instead, he offered guidance and assistance, becoming a figure many aspired to emulate.
Marlo stands at a modest height, his 67 years marked by a tapestry of wrinkles and calluses from years of hands-on scientific endeavors. His hair, a silvery cascade reminiscent of moonlight, frames his weathered face.
Though his eyes often appear tired, they ignite with a vibrant intensity whenever he delves into his quest for knowledge. His gaze, rich with experience and curiosity, transforms into a dynamic wellspring of vitality and passion in those moments of discovery.
