Nyx felt the surge of energy flood his body, his muscles tightening, his senses sharpening. The fatigue that had weighed him down moments before vanished, replaced by a sense of lightness and speed. Everything around him seemed to slow down, and the goblins' movements became sluggish in comparison.
His lips curled into a dark smile. "Perfect."
The first goblin charged at him, its club raised high, ready to strike. But Nyx was faster. Much faster. He sidestepped with ease, the goblin's blow missing him by a wide margin. Before it could recover, Nyx spun behind it and delivered a swift kick to the back of its knee, sending the creature tumbling forward with a growl of frustration.
The second goblin was quick to follow, lunging at him with its club. Nyx darted out of the way, the club smashing into the floor once again. He moved with fluid precision, dodging and weaving between the two creatures as they flailed in vain, unable to keep up with his enhanced speed.
"You're too slow," Nyx taunted, his voice laced with cold amusement.
One of the goblins snarled in frustration, swinging its club wildly. But Nyx was already behind it. He grabbed the back of the goblin's head and slammed it into the wall with a sickening crunch. The creature slumped to the floor, dazed but still alive.
The second goblin rushed at him in a blind rage. Nyx sidestepped once again, but this time he didn't just dodge. He lashed out with a swift kick to the creature's side, sending it crashing into its fallen comrade.
Nyx then saw a broken piece of metal rod, that looked like the end part of a chair or desk leg. Nyx then grabbed the sharp metal piece and shoved it into the first goblins throat while it was still dazed against the wall.
The other goblin, however had risen and lifted his club above Nyx and was ready to swing downwards towards Nyx's head
Nyx however had gotten beside the goblin and stuck the metal rod into the goblin's throat.

After the goblin's body had dropped with a heavy thud to the ground. Nyx looked around at the bodies of both of the dead goblins.
"That's two more mana stones" Nyx said while gasping and wiping his face of the blood that had gotten on his face, Still holding the broken metal piece in his other hand
"I suppose there's a cooldown for each skill," Nyx remarked, his tone cold and analytical, piecing together the system's limitations.
