*Calling his phone**

"Why isn't Chase picking up?? He promised to celebrate with me tonight. I just won a freaking award.."

"Maybe I should go to his house instead"

Emily said as she picked up her the bottle of wine she had prepared and her car key and headed towards her car, in excitement...

She kept dialing his phone number and after the upteenth time, he picked up

"Hello"

"Hey Chase, where are you? I've been calling your number since about an hour ago and you haven't been picking up"

"Oh babe, I'm so sorry, I was busy putting up your present and my phone was on silent so I didn't hear it ringing"

"It's fine. You were putting up a present... You really didn't have to..... Are you at home?? I'm on my way to your apartment now"

"Uhmmmm...

Can you come to Kings Hotel, I'm waiting for you here"

"Oh okay

I'll be there in a sec"

Emily swiftly swerved her car to the right and turned around, heading for Kings Hotel in glitz. Ever since her mom died and she has started acting, Chase and her best friend, Christina have been the only ones there for her.

Having lost her father in a young age, her mother was the only one who catered for her. They had to move to the country side because that's where her grandmother lived and after her mother died of Leukemia, she decided to come back to the city and try being an actress since it was her passion. Getting to the city, she met Chase and Christina who became her best friends and the only ones she had.

After her first movie role, Chase asked her out and they started to court each other . It's been two years since all of that and she won an award for best new actress in a movie she recently starred in. Now, she was going to meet with Chase for celebration.

After she got to the hotel, she called Chase but he didn't pick up and only sent her the room number. She felt something was weird but she brushed it off.....

She got to the room and opened the door expecting to see Chase standing at the door and smiling at her, however, the room was dark and it was like there was no one in the room

Immediately she entered, she knew there was something in the room so she immediately covered her nose, but the gas was too concentrated and she began to feel hazy. She gently placed the bottle of wine on the nearest table she felt with her hand. She tried looking for the switch to turn on the lights but she lost her consciousness immediately. When she woke up she found a man beside her naked and another taking photos of them together. She became alarmed and got out of the bed immediately. She staggered and she immediately realized that the drug hadn't worn off yet. She knew that if she stayed longer in that room, she'd fall unconscious again. She grabbed her bag and her shoe and aimed for the door. The man taking the photograph tried to grab her but she hit him hard with the heel of her shoe and got out of the room.

She was grateful that they didn't take off her clothes so there wasn't much of a hassle. She felt her head spinning and she knew she might collapse soon.

"I have to get away from them"she thought in her head

She then opened the room nearest to her and entered. As soon as she closed the door, she fell unconscious.

Meanwhile, Chase was in the room opposite the one where Emily was drugged, and he was with Christina. They were both waiting for the men who were sent to Emily's room. Soon after, the door burst open and the guys came in and told them what happened

Chase immediately asked "Were you able to get the job done anyway?"

One of the men then handed over a memory card and said "Everything you asked for is in it"

Chase collected the memory card then smiled

"I'll send you your remaining balance by the end of today. Thanks for this"

After the men left, Christina hugged Chase and they both smiled.

"So, what are you going to do with this" Christina asked

"Post it anonymously of course"

"Do you think there's another better way we can go about it?? Isn't this too cruel??" Christina said nervously

"Don't you want to get back at her for stealing your spotlight??"

Christina nodded slightly then smiled and hugged Chase loving

"Thanks babe " she said

Chase then replied

"You're welcome"

He then kissed her and carried her to the bed and they spend the night together...
