Chapter 5 - Chapter 4 - Locustitle. (Not) The order of the city

— Oooooh...Haaaaaaaaah.... Are we near there yet? — Silius asked annoyingly weaving through his legs, following his legs the blacksmith. After all, having set off they had already been walking for three days with only two rests. In that time they had not only explored the forest, but also spent enough food supplies.

— You've told me that 10 times in a minute. We'll be there soon enough. — Saif replied nervously, holding the map in his hands and continuing to point the way. The blacksmith didn't understand why he was still complaining about only a few days of walking after traveling for so long. In fact, it wasn't even from any wounds, which had gone away from him quickly.

— I'm so thirsty. — Silius began to swallow saliva, suddenly fantasizing about a barrel of water that he would drink in a gulp, which made his throat even worse.

— You should have guarded the bottle better. — the man in the bandage said neutrally, stopping and glancing at his buddy.

— But who knew a hybrid macaque would steal water! — The young man was outraged, still shocked by this intelligent creature. He simply took the bottle out of his bag and it disappeared from his hands, ending up in the hands of the animal, who drank the contents with a mocking smile on his face.

— Be glad it's just water. Now we'll buy everything in town and everything will be fine.

— The only strange thing is that when he saw you, he ran away like a scalded man. Do you have such a scary aura? — Silius wondered.

— I guess so, — the bezokiy blacksmith answered ambiguously, already though continuing on his way.

— By the way, I've had a question for a long time, but I can't ask it. Do you know who Bes Alius is? — The terra cotta-haired man shuddered.

— Who doesn't know him? Oh, that's you are… He's…uh… someone who's supposed to be going against everyone and the whole mechanism of the world. No one knows his exact purpose, and the Imp himself is rarely seen, but we can say for sure that he brings destruction. He wants to kill, he wants to change the order. From the lowest of the low, Fuscus was able to reach great heights in a short period of time with his only partner. Even the Rulers who are on the throne of our countries can't stop him or catch him. So it's best not to talk about him anywhere, he's a menace to the entire region.

— Why all of them, if he belongs to the Fuscus race of the Rosso-Mavros Wings?

— Even all the Fuskus are afraid and don't recognize him, but they respect him. It's hard to say there because I wasn't a third party to the whole thing. I only heard it from others and the publication.

— I see. — Silius realized that it sounded dangerous and unreasonable, but he still wanted to know more about this world and this Imp, but he decided to cross out his thoughts. Coming to his senses, he continued to follow Saif, who didn't wait for any more words from him.

— Here we are. — speaking to Aylan, Saif pointed his finger at the terrain.

Looking around, the gate through which the entrance to Locustitle itself was located was visible in the distance. The city was all surrounded by walls and nowhere besides the gate were there ways of entry besides the top, but there were guards with weapons standing there as well. Everything looked quite austere, and the area itself was located in the middle of an empty plain surrounded by forest.

— All we have to do is get past the guards and find a lot that sells what we need. — said the blacksmith. So they both headed into the city. Next to the gate were the guards, who were dressed in red armor with the symbol of the country on their left shoulder. They stood steady and straight like statues, not giving passage to anyone. From this we can understand that the place is very protected from outside pests.

— Freeze! Do you have a «LL» pass card? — asked in a rough voice one of the guards blocking the passage, probably the commander-in-chief of this unit.

— No, sir. We are only travelers. — replied the terracotta-haired man, wary of such a welcome.

— Then you are forbidden to enter. — the guard announced rudely, looking at them with even more contempt.

— Why? — Silius wondered, his voice hoarse and squeaky as his throat was dry from lack of moisture.

— According to the rules, only locals can enter the city or by invitation of a noble living here. — reluctantly, he answered the boy

— I don't want to go to another country, what kind of rules are these? — the boy furrowed his brows slightly, but did not express his anger at the decision.

— This Locustitle is one of the main aspects of celebrity encounters. It has survived many waves of Sordidus, namely level 4 and 3. And people like you don't know where you've come. Even I would not self-handedly open the gates for you.

— ...Yeah, okay, let's go. — the blacksmith took Silius by the sleeve, moving away from the guards so they wouldn't be overheard. And after a moment's thought, he said:

— We don't have passes, and we don't know anyone in this town. There's only one thing to do.

— Sneak in there, — Aylan continued, realizing his friend's thought process at once, — But how exactly? You've seen the walls there, and the patrol is very controlling.

— Since we're already memorized, we're gonna have to sneak in undercover and-—

— Stop! — said Silius suddenly, interrupting Saif and turning his whole body involuntarily toward the forest, — I feel as if someone is coming.

— What? — the man with a bandage blindfold listened without realizing what he was saying, but he didn't notice anything, only the sound of a quiet wind.

— Someone is coming. — the young man with the bandage on his neck said calmly, keeping his eyes on the forest. A few seconds later, a woman emerged from the forest, carrying a huge bear on her shoulder. Smiling happily, she headed for the gate without making any noise, which was surprising under the weight of the weight.

Saif sighed in surprise. He remembered this woman from before. But what puzzled him most of all was that he hadn't sensed anything. When she was walking with the huge animal, and he had a pretty good sense of smell.

The stranger herself was dressed in almost the same uniform as the guards, only with extras like a half-skirt with classic pants and a short cape, no lats. Her hair was loose black wavy hair. Her eyes are a light lilac color and her skin is a shade of milk chocolate. If you look closely, you can see that her entire body is covered in scars and that she only has one right hand, which she used to hold the bear.

— Awesome! — Silius squealed, clenching his fists a little — What a huge beast she's carrying with one hand. What strength!

The lady, meanwhile, approached the guards. When the guards saw her in their field of vision, they all bowed at the same time and shouted loudly — Greetings, Miss Keren Brandt!

— Oh, you're at it again, how many times have I told you not to greet me so loudly? — the woman cringed slightly at the sound.

— Excuse us! We just want to honor you for many more centuries! — as if completely changed in their faces, you could feel their admiration for her.

— I'm not so young anymore, you'd sooner make me deaf than my age, — Keren laughed muffledly, — See, only managed to catch a bear.

— It's just that hunting season hasn't arrived. Soon, Ms. You'll be able to hunt all you want. But first, so as not to detain you, you may pass. — they stood back like museum plaques, palms facing the entrance, slightly bowed.

— Gladly, but can you please tell me who those people in the distance are. — she pointed them out with her eyes.

— They're travelers. They wanted to come in, but since they don't have an an «LL» pass card, we can't let them in. — replied the commander-in-chief of the guards.

The woman, took a good look at them, and presenting a hand to her chin smiled.

— Let them go with my permission. — the guards all jumped in surprise, barely concealing their displeasure at the decision.

— But Ms. ...

— I don't know anything, let them in like I said, and I've got to go. — she went into town without hearing any more of their objections.

The travelers, on the other hand, only watched everything that was going on near the entrance.

— I don't know what's going on in there, but they don't look happy after the conversation. — Silius said.

— Come on, the head guard is calling for us. — they went there again, and as they approached the gate they were confronted with an oppressive silence.

— This is... Ahem.... Ms. Brandt from her permission you may enter Locustitle. — sighed annoyingly as the head man let them pass.

— Yuh!... — Silius wanted to shout with joy, but Saif reacted quickly and silenced him with his palm.

— But keep in mind, you're strangers here and you have to follow the rules. Your lives are your responsibility. — he said goodbye to them and glanced at the terracotta haired man, — And if you ever use weapons in the city, you'll be in trouble...

Saif and Silius entered the city.

— That's lucky for us, even though we wanted to make a plan, but I like this one better! We'll have to thank that aunt. — Silius turned his head happily, looking around at the area.

— It's not worth it, let's do our business and get out of here as soon as possible. — the blacksmith grudgingly began to look at the sheet he took out of his pocket.

— I thought I'd walk around and hang out here some more. — he mumbled.

— You can still make it... Let's split up now. Here's some money and a list of things to buy. Meet me at the same place in about three hours.

— Good, — Silius nodded, and they both went in different directions. But Aylan's first task was something else, something that had been tormenting him for hours. — I'll buy some water first, or I'll die of thirst. — after walking through various alleys, he finally found a trading post. But people looking and passing by whispered, looking at him. One could immediately realize that he did not fit in at all with his appearance in the city and that he was not a local.

— Ugh, how disgusting.....

— What's a lowborn doing here?

— Where are the guards? Have them take him away.

— That's it! — Silius joyfully ran after his goal, not paying attention to the noise. And coming close to the saleswoman he asked: — How much is your water?

— 32 Golden Creed.

And that's when Silius realized where he'd landed.

«There's no way water costs that much!» — the young man with the bandage on his neck was completely shocked. And then looking around again he looked at the people who were all dressed too beautifully and elegantly as if they were going to a ball, but were actually strolling in the street. Just being around them made him realize that his clothes were very different from theirs.

— Are you going to buy water? — the saleswoman started irritably.

— А... Ah, yes, of course — it's still more important to him to survive, and if it's worth a lot, he'll return the Creds to Saif if he doesn't have enough.

Finally buying water and drinking it all in one gulp, the young man felt a surge of strength.

— That's it, now we can have some fun, — he walked around happily, looking for what was written on the leaf the blacksmith had given him. — Hmm... there's some food and furniture here. — after scratching his head and looking around he was attracted by a store called «Mig Aliud». So he hurriedly headed there. But as soon as he was in the aisle he ran into something invisible.

«Uh, what is this?» — continuing to look around, Silius couldn't figure out why he couldn't enter the building.

— Don't block the passage. — a stranger said, stepping forward and opening the door that he had bumped into. He realized that it was a glass door that didn't even have a handle, making it look like a window.

— Well... It happens to everyone. — Aylan said to himself as he opened the door and finally entered.

Meanwhile, things were moving much faster for Saif. He had already managed to buy half of the list, still holding the map in his hand and everything bought.

«Hopefully this time he'll think to take a guidebook so he knows where he is and doesn't get lost». — he was hopeful, though he could hardly believe it himself.

Walking through different places, Saif had long ago realized that he was in a society of people where status was the main factor. But that wasn't the problem. The dilemma was that he stood out too much, especially with his eye patch and sword on his belt. Most importantly, walking around the neighborhood all the dogs, and other animals began to go crazy. Some started barking, and some of them ran away. Not even paying attention to the leash, they tried with all their might to run away from here.

— Rich, what's the matter with you?! Shut up! — the man yelled at his dog.

— Murzyk, where are you going, don't run away. — the little girl tried to catch up with her cat, followed by her parents.

— Maam, Tosha flew away. — pointing his finger upwards the boy cried.

Saif hearing and seeing all this began to look for a non-public space where he could get some respite from it all.

— We should buy everything as soon as possible and get out of this place.

***

Silius no matter how many times he walked through the different compartments, no matter how many times he looked at the shelves, he still couldn't buy anything, and just walked out of that building.

«Am I in a place where only rich people live? I can't buy anything». — he pondered to himself. Meanwhile, there was a sudden noise close to him.

— Stop right there! I'll shoot you! — the guard shouted to some stranger. But he ran away from him with all his might. And in a few seconds the soldier was joined by more people who were on the path of the fleeing man. The kid was not confused by this outcome. He concentrated his strength on his legs and jumped quite high and landed on the roof. After showing his tongue to the guards, the man happily ran away.

— Catch him at all costs!!! — the chief of the guards angrily yelled to his guards.

— There is!

— Wow, they have this too, and I thought everything was too perfect here, — Silius muttered, — So, where do I go? — he looked up and saw a large palace, which seemed to be in the center of the city. But in the distance there was a statue of almost the same size, which attracted him with its graceful appearance. Curiosity got the better of him again, and he went there.

***

Meanwhile, after finding a hiding place and buying everything he needed, Saif took a few seconds to figure out how to teleport things into the shelter with him. And he was able to do it, because all he had to do was to be near the things. But that made him wary, because if there was danger and someone wanted to teleport, would he take the enemy with him? With this flaw in Sekedo's crystal, you have to be careful.

— I've finally finished everything, — Saif said in Refuge. — One more hour to go. I'm going to walk around the city. Sekedo! — he teleported back. The blacksmith, walking further down Locustitle, found himself near some huge stone like monument. It depicted a human of unknown gender who had his arms folded and raised high as if praying. He was sitting on his knees with his head held up, looking down with his eyes — as horrible as it looked to Saif. It was all clothed in just one thin cloth and various spike-like things were impaled on his body. The terracotta haired man stood for a long time looking at this strange statue that brought him oppression with its appearance.

— Wow. What people don't made up. — he said sarcastically.

— It's not made up! — an elderly voice shouted behind me. — this sculpture is the Supreme Lord of Life and Preservation. This statue is Vitaincolumitas!

Saif didn't react in any way, but calmly looked back to see the stranger. It was an old man dressed in a black and white robe that looked very much like a priest, especially with his bushy white beard and the huge chain with the mark of God Sued on his chest.

— What kind of name is that.... To stand up and not fall down simply. — the blacksmith sighed, putting one hand on his belt.

— I don't know where you picked up so much filth speaking on this sacred site, but I won't let you talk like that!

— I agree with you on that one, I don't want to get my hands dirty right now. — Saif grasped his sword and spoke menacingly. When he saw the weapon, the priest immediately fell silent, frightened.

— Ahem... I was going to say you shouldn't say that, please....

— I don't really care. I don't care about that block of stone, so don't worry.

— You're at it again!

— What?

— It's not just a stone! This statue gives this city life and prosperity! God Sued himself created it and brought it from Heaven to help the people!

— Ahh, I see. — the terracotta-haired man replied disinterestedly, yawning all over.

— You should kneel down and apologize for such sinful words against God and the statue of Vitaincolumitas!

— Uncle priest or whatever you are. I don't care about God.

— HUH?! — the holy father's eyes almost fell out, horrified at such words.

— Whether God exists or not is of little concern to me. I am living and so far nothing has happened to me in all the time I have not prayed.

— God Sued is always near us and this time that nothing has happened to you proves it! It's all God's will! And for your recent words, you, young man, must undergo the rite of purification again!

— I'll tell you more, I've never been through this rite of passage.

— Is that impossible?! Everyone goes through it as a child and in adulthood. Purification cannot be avoided! — the old man took hold of his head, which was aching badly.

— Hmm. I guess maybe, since I could. You can believe, priest, I won't judge you or try to stop you from doing so. You're free to do what you want, I'm free to do what I want, within reason of course. But even if I don't do what you do. It doesn't mean I'm not living as well as you. I just have a different lifestyle. And no matter what people do, everybody dies. So I don't care.

— Don't make excuses, you've been going to hell for a long time, kid.

— Then that's where I belong. — Saif smiled, which made the priest angry and walk away, muttering indignantly to himself.

«I wish I could find Silius already...» — the blacksmith, moving on, saw a strange alleyway with a sign that read "Lower District". Looking at the stairs going down deep below, he went there realizing that he still had time while Silius was probably busy. Reaching the end of the stairs, he couldn't believe his eyes. The stairs that led him down turned out to be another place where people lived and no they weren't closed off from the city they were just at the bottom where the sky was visible from above and the buildings of the upper places. Taking a good look around Saif saw the people and, they were very different from those above. These inhabitants were dressed in torn and worn out clothes. Their bodies looked thin and their faces expressed nothing but pain and a rotten smile. Walking on, the bezokiy man approached an old man sitting on the floor holding a cap in his skinny hands asking for money. Giving him Credo, Saif walked forward, not seeing the man's pleased and surprised face.

When he found a building with an upside-down sign with a very badly nailed-up sign that read "Slave," a bar, he decided to go in and find out what was going on. But already approaching the door he did not expect to hear joyful squeals in the room and when he opened the door he looked at the surrounding people who were having fun and drinking. They sang a song unknown to the blacksmith, which came out of their braided tongues:

In the creation of all things, life flows in the glow of the sky,

Faith, happiness, hope, love

That's all that happens to us in time.

People running for a new song,

Those who want to know everything,

Seeking to unlock the secrets

To shine later.

---------------

The very souls who only run forward appear

Along with the world trying to fly,

They don't give you any panting

Still striving and striving to conquer this world!

Even if you suddenly fall behind and stop

Take a different path,

Everybody can do it

Just don't let go of the string!

---------------

Turning in silence to God Sued.

But without hearing his answer

As we continue our wanderings in the darkness.

Seeking strength without seeing the light

We get used to living with the realization

Self-empowerment and lifestyle in that!

---------------

It's Vita - it's life we keep doubting,

We exist in a straight line. With strength and soul we stand on our feet!

To the minds and hearts of all we strive!

It's Vita, this life, even if we don't believe in a lot of things.

The splits are falling down, but farther and farther we run,

That's Vita - that's life even if loss and misfortune are around.

This is where we exist! This is our world!

---------------

One step at a time, taking your time,

Gaining the strength that is given to us,

Knowledge gained over centuries

It's all within our control!

And miracles and dreams

We realize everything

Staying on your path!

---------------

And even negative emotions can be buried within

But in the blink of an eye, they will break free,

It's best not to hide anything inside

And move on to freedom with peace of mind!

---------------

It's Vita - it's life we keep fighting,

We're going straight,

With strength and soul we stand on our feet.

To the minds and hearts of all we strive,

That's Vita - that's life even if you've been through a lot.

The splits are falling down, but farther and farther we run,

This is Vita, this is life.

This is where we exist! This is our world!

Already being near a table, Saif waited for the bartender, continuing to listen to a song that was interesting to him, which though it seemed unpleasant due to the drunken voices, appealed with its melody and heavenly lyrics, giving warm and striving feelings buried inside. As if motivating and giving beautiful memories of life.

— What do you want to order? — the bartender asked as he approached

— Just a glass of water. — there was little he wanted to drink in a place like this, for there was no telling what might happen.

«And it's definitely not because of that Silius vodohleb». — he convinced himself.

— Good. — he took out a glass and began to pour water. And while he was waiting for the terracotta hair decided to examine the room and the people in it in detail.

— Whoo-hoo. Pour me another!!! — squealed some kid who had one eye closed on the right side under his orange hair. He also had one pink pupil visible. But the thing that stuck out the most was his pants, as the pockets attached to it looked like they were sewn from a giant. He'd shoved everything he could into the pockets, so he could fit 10 bottles in each pocket and still have room to spare. It was the first time Saif had ever seen such a madman, who kept drinking every bottle without stopping. And people were shouting after him: — Drink more. More! — but he wasn't the only one. Some men were also drinking with him and it was obvious that they were definitely competing. And although the red-haired man drank quite a lot, the mist on his eyes and pink cheeks did not appear, unlike his rivals.

— Tell me he's an amazing creature who can drink and not get drunk.

Saif flinched slightly, reflexively reaching for his sword and wanted to strike, but stopped just in time when he saw to his left the very old woman who had helped them enter the city.

— Don't look so scared. I didn't do it on purpose, I'm just not easy to spot. — Keren Brandt grinned slightly.

«She didn't make a sound again. How could I not hear it...» — the terra cotta haired man was confused. Without saying anything to her, he took the water from the table and looked ahead to where the competition was.

— How many times do I not come here, that kid constantly drinks without stopping, but never got drunk.

— Yeah... That's amazing. But can he pay for drinking that much?

— No, — she replied with a laugh. - The thing is, he can't leave because he has to make up for the amount he drank and broke. He's been here for two weeks now, and in that time he's figured out a way to make money. He organizes a competition where the loser pays for his drinks and gives him more money as a bonus.

— I've been watching what's going on down here. Aren't there poor people living here?

— You're right the poor, but even the courts are peeked at by the rich for different purposes.

— Then what are you doing here?

— I came for a drink, — she said as if nothing had happened, holding her drink with her right hand. — No matter how good the bartender with the best quality ingredients on top, to me it doesn't compare to the one who cooks here.

— Thank you, my lady, a flower like you is always welcome here. — the bartender suddenly said, and the older woman waved her palm, blushing. Saif chose to ignore the moment, staring at the crowd of people drinking.

— I'd like to say thank you for helping us. I just can't figure out why. — the blacksmith asked her. She drank some sake and said with a smile. — I always help those I know.

Suddenly, Saif, who had been staring at the crowd for a long time, turned his head toward her and looked her in the eye with his blindfold, trying to read her mind. But then out of nowhere a bottle comes flying past them, smashing into the bar and cracking it completely, knocking the other drinks around. Terracotta hair covered himself with his hands so that nothing would fall on him, but at the same second he looked at Brandt again. But it was too late. She had disappeared as if vanishing into thin air as if originally there had been no one there. If it weren't for the emptied sake. After a quick look around, he still didn't see her. But looking at the clock in the wall, he realized there was nothing more to do and left the bar, heading upstairs to the place where they had agreed to meet Silius, his mind deep in thought.

Hours later.

Silius finally finding the spot of the statue he had been searching for two hours, yelled at the whole thing with admiration.

— It's so cool! It's so huge, it doesn't compare to the buildings here. How did they even make it and move it?

— It's God's will, boy. — a priest approached Silius.

— Hello uncle, what do you mean by God's will? — not paying attention to such rudeness, the old man still replied.

— This statue is called Vitainkolumitas and it was God Sued who created it for us so that we can live in peace and safety.

— Wow! Wow, the people who live here are very happy? — the young man's eyes became even brighter.

— And not only boy we live here, enjoying life and all that God gives us.

— So you know where God Sued is? — he suddenly asked the priest, which made him stunned.

— What a strange question you're asking me. Everyone knows that he is in heaven watching over all of us. We contact him when we pray and believe in him.

— Didn't you try to see him face to face?

Here Grandpa finally raised his eyebrows upwards. — That's impossible! We are human beings, and we do not have the power that God has, we are only His created beings living in this world.

— So there you go...can't god's chosen ones contact him since he chose them?

— As sad as it may sound, but even they are not able to meet him with such strength, no one can.

— Priest, is it true that you keep secrets and never tell them to anyone in your life? — Silius said, changing the subject and moving closer to the old man, which made him tense.

— Of course it is true, for it would be one of the most sinful things we can do for someone like me. — he answered him in a calm and noble voice.

After looking around, the young man with the bandage on his neck finally realized that the people were far away and decided to come even closer to the old man, whispering in his ear.

— Actually, as you may have noticed, I'm not from around here. I'm a traveler trying to find my forgotten past. But the most important thing I want to do is... — he raised his index finger, pointing to the sky. — To meet him.

— Whatooooooo! — the old man yelled with all his remaining voice, nearly having a heart attack from what he heard. His eyebrows went so far up that they seemed to reach his hair and his jaw to his heart. — This is impossible! You're talking nonsense! You can't disrupt the order of the world! — without even paying attention to the people, he continued to yell. Then Silius covered his mouth with his hand and with the same, but still wide smile with a dimple on his cheek said — The secret, is secret, priest... — letting go of his uncle, the boy stepped closer to the statue. The Holy Father remained in the same place thinking that the boy was crazy.

— Why do I meet such strange people today. One's a sinner, the other's a madman. I should probably retire soon. — was the last thing he said as he walked back to the church, coming to his senses.

Silius, on the other hand, was staring at the statue. His eyes shone, and he even touched it, marveling at how hard and smooth it was at the same time. Then he suddenly had an idea. A crazy one, but it seemed more like fun to him. Finding the tallest building, he decided to climb up there. But first, he took a good look at the people around him to realize he couldn't be seen. Ely as a young man with a bandage around his neck started to climb, grabbing the bricks. And when he was almost there, someone stepped on his arm and he almost fell down, feeling the pain.

— Hey, what are you doing? — Silius looked at the stranger and was immediately surprised. It was the same man who had recently escaped from the guards by jumping very high.

— I'm sorry, I didn't do it on purpose. I just felt like doing it for some reason. All you rich people do whatever you want and get away with it, it makes me so angry. — he lifted his foot to step on his other hand, but Aylan swung himself up onto the roof.

— You did it on purpose. — the dark-blue-haired man said with displeasure, feeling as if he had been confused with someone. Lgnoring the words of the boy with the bandage on his neck, he immediately kicked him so that foot so that he threw himself off.

— What? — the dazed stranger looked at Silius, who, instead of falling, was only using a little strength to hold himself up. The stranger didn't like that prospect, so he made another kick to the stomach, and then he made a spinning kick to the head. He tried to be as fast as possible, like a panther catching its prey. Silius continued to dodge and defend himself. Realizing that he was using magic, he wanted to find the right moment to attack, to calm him down somehow. He quickly stepped back with both hands and took his opponent's foot, which puzzled him. Without a moment's hesitation, he said — Double Nearth! — then he pulled the man to his right and used his left elbow to strike him in the face with the magic around him, sending him flying to the other side of the roof.

Aylan began to catch his breath as he looked at his opponent, but before he could rest he felt the presence of another person he didn't see in sight looking around.

Aer! — a woman's voice sounded nearby, causing a great rush of air to rush towards Silius. He flew off and crashed into the statue, creating a hole and ruins in it.

The girl, snorting, walked over to the guy at the edge of the roof.

— Athan! How many times have I told you not to express your anger at them so vehemently? You almost lost to some brat. — she crossed her arms holding some colorful umbrella.

— I just didn't know he had the same power as us, so I thought I'd have some fun. — the young man pouted, rising to his feet.

— Let's not do anything rash until our plan is executed. The ball is about to begin, and we must be ready for it. Come on, the guards will be here soon. — they've both fled this place.

Silius, meanwhile, was recovering from the attack. His head and backside ached, but he was able to ease the blow by using his strength to land on his back, but that didn't help much either. Standing up, he staggered back into the fight, but the two men on the roof were gone.

— We lost him again. — said someone's voice somewhere downstairs.

— Sir look up! — a woman shouted, pointing at Vitaincolumitas. Everyone immediately looked up and screamed in terror.

— AAAH! Vitaincolumitas has been damaged!

— That's impossible. So we're all gonna die?!

— Look, there's a man!

— Seize the culprit, whoever it is! — yelled the commander-in-chief of the guards.
