"Young Master," the two titled Douluos, Snake Spear and Porcupinefish, respectfully addressed the young girl standing with her back to them.
"Uncle She Long, I need you to head to Notting City overnight and investigate Lan Si's background. I want to know everything about him," Qian Renxue said calmly.
"Understood." Without hesitation, the Snake Spear Douluo responded respectfully, his figure turning ghostly before disappearing into the forest.
"Uncle Ci Xue, stay here with me to see if this boy can withstand the soul ring of the Soul Devouring Spider, which surpasses the limit," Qian Renxue added.
"Yes, I'm also quite interested in this kid. If he can endure it, he will have limitless potential in the future. Only such a genius would be qualified to assist the Young Master," Porcupinefish Douluo remarked with a smile, his eyes glancing at Lan Si, who was in the process of absorbing the Soul Devouring Spider's soul ring. He knew this indicated that their Young Master valued Lan Si's talent and had grown fond of him.
Qian Renxue didn't respond, merely observing Lan Si silently. As night fell and the moon hung high in the sky, its white light shone down, revealing a slight smile on Qian Renxue's beautiful and noble face.

The night passed quietly.
At dawn, Snake Spear Douluo had already returned.
By this time, Qian Renxue's expression had become very solemn. In front of her, Lan Si, who was seated cross-legged beside the Soul Devouring Spider, was now completely obscured by a layer of faint red mist.
Inside the red mist, faint blue arcs of electricity and pale white flames flickered.
The red mist was none other than Lan Si's blood. An hour ago, as his soul power fluctuated violently, tiny beads of blood began seeping from his skin. In the high temperature of the pale white flames, the blood evaporated into the air, transforming into this faint red mist.
Lan Si's brows were tightly furrowed, his teeth clenched, his body trembling uncontrollably. Coupled with the blood beads on his skin, it was clear just how immense the pain he was enduring at this moment.
Amid the blood mist, the sound of cracking bones could occasionally be heard. Each crackling sound was enough to send shivers down one's spine. The third soul ring, which should have appeared with the absorption process, had yet to manifest, indicating that Lan Si had not fully absorbed the Soul Devouring Spider's soul ring.
"Young Master, the Soul Devouring Spider is known for its extreme ferocity and brutality among soul beasts. Its age exceeds two thousand years, nearly two thousand five hundred years. After an entire night, I'm afraid this boy won't be able to hold on," Porcupinefish Douluo remarked with some regret as he glanced at Lan Si, who was enveloped in the blood mist.
From Snake Spear Douluo, he had learned that Lan Si was a talented commoner with a clean background who had never been involved with any factions. Moreover, he seemed to hold a favorable opinion of the Spirit Hall. Losing such a talent would indeed be a pity.
Snake Spear Douluo stood beside Porcupinefish Douluo, holding a stack of documents in his hand. These documents, gathered through the Spirit Hall's channels, detailed Lan Si's general situation from his martial soul awakening to his graduation from Notting Academy.
Half an hour ago, Snake Spear had returned, but upon seeing the solemn look on his Young Master's face as she watched Lan Si, he chose to stand aside without saying a word, using secret sound transmission to communicate with his old friend, Porcupine.
Hearing Porcupinefish Douluo's words, Qian Renxue raised an eyebrow, recalling her earlier conversations with Lan Si. After hesitating for a moment, she approached Lan Si, bending slightly, her hand glowing with golden light as she moved it closer to him.
Porcupine and Snake Spear Douluo were both alarmed, thinking, "Is our Young Master intending to use the Angel Domain to purify the violent aura within the Soul Devouring Spider's soul ring for this boy?"
Just as Qian Renxue's glowing hand was about to touch Lan Si, a dazzling white light suddenly appeared beneath him. The white light grew brighter, revealing a massive green lotus over two meters in diameter. Its eight lotus petals folded together, enveloping Lan Si within.
The moment Qian Renxue's glowing hand touched the green lotus, it was instantly repelled.
Simultaneously, the purple light ring, representing the third soul ring, began to appear, circling around the giant green lotus.
"What is this?" Qian Renxue's face showed surprise.
"Young Master, it seems this boy has pulled through," Porcupinefish Douluo walked excitedly to Qian Renxue's side, speaking with reverence. Although he had already reached the level of a Titled Douluo, it was the first time in his life he had witnessed someone surpass the level to absorb a soul ring. And the soul ring absorbed was from one of the most ferocious and brutal soul beasts, the Soul Devouring Spider.
It should be noted that the Soul Devouring Spider has the potential to evolve into the Soul-devouring Spider Emperor, and the second martial soul of their Spirit Hall's Pope, Bibi Dong, was precisely the Soul-devouring Spider Emperor.
Snake Spear Douluo promptly handed over the documents in his hand, saying respectfully, "Young Master, these are the materials I gathered overnight."
Qian Renxue accepted the documents, nodding in satisfaction, a smile forming on her lips. "Thank you, uncles. Lan Si will wake up soon. For now, you should both hide."
"Understood." The Snake Spear and Porcupinefish Douluos exchanged a glance, nodded, and then disappeared into the forest.
Qian Renxue took another look at Lan Si. Since the third soul ring, representing the Soul Master level, had already appeared, it indicated that Lan Si was out of danger. She wasn't in a hurry anymore. Finding a stone for herself, she sat down and began to read through Lan Si's documents.
Name: Lan Si, martial soul awakened at six years old.
Martial Soul: Mutated Green Lotus.
Innate Soul Power: Level 5. (Confirmed multiple times with Lan Si's martial soul awakening guide, Su Yuntao, with no doubt.)
Three months later, he broke through level ten, soon acquiring his first soul ring, becoming a certified soul master with soul power reaching level eleven.
Two years and six months later, he acquired the second soul ring, becoming a certified Grandmaster.
As she read through the information, a captivating smile appeared on Qian Renxue's lips. She murmured, "Innate soul power level five, yet he raised his soul power to level ten within three months. That's quite interesting."
She flipped to the next page and continued reading.
This part recorded Lan Si's performance in Notting City.
Upon learning that Lan Si had defeated a soul master with a rabbit martial soul and innate full soul power over a hundred times, Qian Renxue was not particularly impressed. In her view, so-called innate full soul power was merely the mark of an ordinary genius, incomparable to Lan Si's twin martial souls.(only she can say that because her innate soul power level is 20)
What truly caught her interest was the fact that Lan Si was often pestered by a middle-aged man who called himself a "master."
From what she knew, the only person in the entire soul master world shameless enough to call himself a "master" was Yu Xiaogang, the one whom that woman constantly thought about.
According to the documents, Lan Si often left this so-called master speechless, even in the latter's field of expertise: soul ring theories. His arguments were logical and evidence-based, leaving Yu Xiaogang with no room to rebut, resulting in his face turning beet red and fleeing in embarrassment multiple times.
Reading this, Qian Renxue felt an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. She laughed. She was already very beautiful, and this smile made the entire Star Dou Forest seem to pale in comparison. It truly embodied the saying: "One smile topples a city, another smile topples a nation."
She thought to herself, "So this boy really is a self-taught genius."
