Chapter 235 - Chapter 235

"Oh? Have you ever been on a ship that can fly freely through the sky? Have you looked down at the world from above the clouds? Have you seen sights that even soar higher than Sky Island?" Luffy's voice was calm yet teasing as he glanced back at Yamato. "This ship can do all of that."

Yamato's eyes widened, her jaw dropping as if the revelation had physically struck her. "!!!Σ(Д)"

"I want to go! I want to go!" she exclaimed, practically bouncing on her heels. "Take me to the flying ship quickly!"

Luffy smirked, hiding his amusement. He hadn't expected it to be this easy to win her over. "Not so fast," he said, his tone turning firm. "First, who are you? Tell me your name."

"I am Kozuki Oden, and I want to become the general of Wano Country—"

Luffy abruptly turned away, his expression unreadable. Without a word, he started walking back toward the dungeon.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Yamato cried, panicked. She quickly adjusted her answer. "I mean—I am Yamato! Kaido's son! Please, just take me up!"

Satisfied with her response, Luffy turned back to face her, his expression now cold and commanding. "Scream your own name ten times. Loudly. If you mess up even once, you're going straight back to that dark dungeon."

"Yes, yes, I'll do it!" Yamato nodded vigorously, and without hesitation, she began shouting, "I am Yamato!" over and over again, her voice ringing through the area.

Nearby Marines and sailors paused, staring at the strange spectacle. Yamato's volume and enthusiasm drew more attention than she seemed to realize, but she remained unfazed.

When she finally finished shouting, she turned to Luffy, her face lit with anticipation. "Did I do it right? Can I go now?"

Luffy studied her for a moment, then gave a small nod. "Follow me," he said, waving her forward.

Yamato's face broke into a wide grin, and she quickly fell in step behind him.

At the port, Stormbreaker's hatch began to open. A gangway extended automatically, descending with mechanical precision. Yamato's eyes sparkled with awe at the sight, her head tilting back to take in the ship's sleek design.

"Wow…" she whispered, her voice full of wonder.

Hancock, however, didn't share her enthusiasm. With a disdainful sniff, she grabbed Yamato's arm and pulled her toward the gangway. "Stop gawking and get moving," she said, her tone clipped.

Once inside the ship, the trio was greeted by twenty Kuja warriors who had been waiting in perfect formation.

"Luffy-sama! Empress-sama! Welcome back!" they chorused, bowing respectfully.

Luffy and Hancock smiled and nodded in return. Since traveling with Luffy, Hancock had softened toward her subordinates, showing them a warmth she had once reserved only for him. This change made her even more beloved by her warriors, who now admired Luffy as well for bringing out this side of their leader.

Meanwhile, Yamato stood in the corridor, her head swiveling as she tried to take in every detail of her surroundings. Her wide-eyed curiosity made her look like an excitable child seeing the world for the first time.

Luffy led the group to a cylindrical elevator. The walls were transparent, offering a clear view of the surrounding floors. Yamato's gaze flicked to the panel of buttons inside the elevator, her curiosity growing.

"There are eight floors on the ship," Luffy explained, pointing to the buttons labeled -4 to 4. "This card grants access to the top floor. Here."

He handed the card to Yamato, who took it eagerly. Following his instructions, she swiped the card and pressed the button labeled "4."

As the elevator began its ascent, Yamato pressed her face against the transparent wall, marveling at the view of the ship's interior. Her excitement was palpable as her eyes darted from one floor to the next.

Before she could fully process what she was seeing, the elevator chimed, signaling their arrival.

"This is the top deck," Luffy announced as the doors slid open.

The scene before them left Yamato speechless.

A lush, green lawn stretched out under a transparent skylight, allowing sunlight to pour in and illuminate the space. A gentle breeze created by the air purification system rustled the grass, adding to the serene atmosphere.

To the left, recreational facilities like slides, pools, saunas, and massage areas beckoned with promise. To the right, the living quarters featured bedrooms, kitchens, tea rooms, and a library, offering a place of rest and comfort.

In the center, sports courts for badminton, tennis, and golf provided space for exercise and leisure. Toward the back of the deck, an artificial ocean and beach created the perfect spot for relaxation, complete with fishing areas.

Yamato's jaw dropped as she took it all in. "This… this is amazing!" she shouted, rushing forward.

"Come back!" Luffy called after her, his voice sharp.

Yamato froze mid-step, glancing back at him with a sheepish expression. Reluctantly, she turned around and shuffled back to his side, her gaze lingering on the water slide.

Luffy sighed and reached for her wrists. Under her watchful eyes, he removed the seastone handcuffs.

"You're a Devil Fruit user," Luffy said pointedly. "If you tried to use the slide while wearing those, you'd end up in the water and drown. Are you that reckless?"

Yamato stared at her freed wrists in surprise, then broke into a wide grin. "Yay! You're such a good person!"
