Chapter 92 - Big brother Oasis is my uncle.

Oasis thought about what his brother had just said and felt it was a great opportunity for his growth.

He would be able to see his brother fight firsthand, learn from watching him, and get guidance on any flaws in his techniques.

After some more time of conversing together, Oasis and Azael went back to the cave where Aya was busy cultivating.

Just as they entered the barrier, Aya was coming out of the cave to check on Oasis.

!!!

"Huh, Uncle!" Aya exclaimed with excitement upon seeing Azael.

She ran towards him and jumped, giving him a hug.

Azael kept a fake serious face.

"Aya, what did I tell you?" Azael asked.

"You said I must stay and play with others," she replied, her voice low.

"So why is Aya in this place?" Azael questioned.

"Ahh..." Aya hesitated, not knowing what to say.

"From now on, you stay close to me until we leave this place," Azael said.

"And this uncle of yours won't cook your favorite food for you."

"Sorry, Uncle Azael," she said, holding both her ears.

Azael brushed her head with a smile while Oasis was taking out clothes from his storage bracelet and wearing them.

"Let's get moving," Azael said as he put on his top clothing a robe.

Azael and Oasis moved out of the place they were in.

Azael summoned his Divine Spirit, which disguised itself as an eagle.

The three of them used it to fly to another floating island in Tir Na Nog.

"So, where are we heading?" Oasis asked.

"There," Azael replied, pointing to another floating island a few kilometers away.

They moved closer, ignoring other islands.

"He is definitely at the peak of the advanced stage of the Tabula-Rasa realm," Oasis thought as he looked at his brother.

"What will happen if he breaks through to the Awakened realm?"

Oasis wondered, considering how Tir Na Nog allowed cultivators from the Newborn realm to the peak of the Tabula-Rasa realm.

"But he is way stronger than me. Is the difference between those in the intermediate stage and the advanced stage this huge?" Oasis thought.

"But those people I killed in the cave were already at the Awakened realm, but they kept their level at the peak of the Tabula-Rasa realm," Oasis pondered.

"Yo, big brother," Oasis called out to Azael.

"What will happen if you break through to the Awakened realm in this place?"

"Oh, the world principles in this place will reject me until I'm forcefully expelled back to where I entered," Azael replied.

!!!

"Why are you calling Uncle 'big brother,' big brother Oasis?" Aya asked, wondering why Oasis and Azael looked so close and noticing they resembled each other a little.

"Aya, Oasis is not your big brother but your uncle. He is my brother," Azael explained.

"Huh!!!" Aya was at a loss for words, pointing her fingers at Oasis and then at Azael, back and forth.

Oasis and Azael burst into laughter at Aya's confusion.

Just as they passed another island while flying above it...

!!!

"I can feel Zane's energy," Oasis thought, sensing a burst of energy coming from below the island.

"Big brother, can you please wait for me a bit?" Oasis asked, diving down from the phoenix without a second thought.

"Oh, he might know someone among the people fighting," Azael thought.

They had passed several islands with people fighting but never interfered, nor did Oasis react.

"Let's follow him," Azael said to his phoenix as they flew towards the fight.

Oasis was already way ahead of them.

Meanwhile, down where the fight was taking place...

"Brat, leave that woman and we will spare your life," a man said to Zane, who was a little beaten up as his body slowly healed itself.

"This brat has been defending that woman for hours now. He hasn't exhausted himself, and his injuries are healing. What is he?" another man remarked.

Huff... huff... huff...

"Go to hell! Over my dead body will I do that," Zane, already in his beast state, spoke to the two men, exhausted.

Behind him was Lily Arcanum, who was badly injured.

"Damn it, she wouldn't be injured if she didn't try to protect me," Zane thought, recalling her jumping in front of an attack aimed at him.

These men had been chasing Zane and Lily for weeks.

Initially, there were seven of them; five had been killed by Zane and Lily, but now Lily was injured and Zane was exhausted.

"We only want Lady Arcanum, and we will reward you," the man said.

"Damn this brat. We won't be able to finish our mission. This brat is hard as a turtle to crack."

"Zane, leave me here alone and save yourself," Lily said faintly.

"Damn, I cannot charge at them. I have already used up all the pills I had," Zane thought.

"I'm sorry, I won't leave you here alone," Zane declared.

"We cannot be careless and attack this brat. He looks exhausted, but what if he still has a trump card?" the man thought.

"Damn, I cannot initiate an attack. My wounds are healing, but I'm out of mana," Zane thought.

Since he was injured but yet healing, the rate of the moon blooming lotus to absorb mana from the surrounding and healing zane was slow as it was prioritizing healing.

"Cargo, let's kill this brat. We must not waste more time," the other man said.

"We must kill Lady Arcanum no matter what. She has already seen our betrayal. If she manages to leave this place, it will be the end of us."

"Damn fool, I also want to attack, but I have a bad feeling about it," Cargo thought.

!!!

"What is this pressure?" Cargo wondered as he looked up at the sky.

"Huh!!!" Zane also looked up, sensing a familiar energy.

"Oasis!!!" Zane thought, smiling slightly.
