Sir Elias watched in awe as Oasis seamlessly executed each spell, his movements fluid and confident.
The raw power and control displayed by Oasis were nothing short of extraordinary, a testament to his natural talent and relentless dedication.
As Sir Elias observed Oasis's remarkable progress, a mixture of emotions washed over him.
Pride swelled within him as he witnessed Oasis's mastery over the elemental magic, but alongside it, a sense of awe and apprehension took hold.
"He's surpassed the Zygote realm; he's already at Embryo 4th layer," Sir Elias muttered to himself, his voice tinged with disbelief.
"This boy is a monster."
The intensity of Oasis's abilities left Sir Elias trembling with a potent blend of excitement and trepidation.
As he felt the tremors coursing through his body, Sir Elias couldn't help but question the source of his agitation.
"Wow, I'm shaking. Am I scared or excited?" Sir Elias wondered silently, his thoughts racing as he struggled to comprehend the magnitude of Oasis's growth.
With six weeks having already flown by since they began their magic training, Sir Elias found himself grappling with the rapid pace of Oasis's development.
The realization dawned on him that Oasis's journey into the realm of magic was progressing far more swiftly than he had anticipated.
As the crackling flames of the campfire danced in the twilight.
Sir Elias and Oasis sat in companionable silence, savoring the remnants of their last meal after a long day of training.
Breaking the quietude, Sir Elias cleared his throat, his voice carrying a mix of solemnity and anticipation.
"You've come a long way since we arrived here, Oasis," he began, his gaze fixed on the flickering flames.
With a subtle shift in his demeanor, Sir Elias turned to face Oasis, his eyes alight with purpose.
"The way of the swords awaits you," he declared, his voice resonating with conviction.
"I may not be adept in swordsmanship, but who knows? Perhaps you possess the talent to become not just a magic wielder, but a battlemage."
Oasis's eyes widened with surprise and curiosity as he listened intently to Sir Elias's words.
"The way of the swords?" he echoed, his voice tinged with intrigue.
Sir Elias nodded, a faint smile gracing his features. "Yes, Oasis. There are those whose talents lie not in magic, but in the art of swordplay."
"Now, Oasis," Sir Elias began, his voice firm yet encouraging, "take out your magic box and retrieve the scroll of sword technique."
Oasis nodded, reaching for the magic box and carefully extracting the scroll.
With focused determination, he unrolled the scroll and began studying its contents.
"Try to study it," Sir Elias instructed, watching Oasis intently.
"Try to understand every technique and principle it contains."
As Oasis delved into the scroll, Sir Elias's attention turned to Oasis's pendant.
"Ah, yes," he exclaimed, a realization dawning on him. "You also have that sword. Bring it out."
With a swift motion, Oasis retrieved the sword from the magic box, its ancient markings gleaming with a faint blue aura.
As Oasis unsheathed the sword, a surge of magic emanated from his pendant, causing the markings on the sword to resonate with those on the pendant in perfect harmony.
In a moment of shock, Oasis found himself enclosed within a shimmering barrier, his surroundings fading away as the sword spoke to him.
"I am Azura, the Sword God of the Phoenix Dance," the sword's voice echoed in Oasis's mind, accompanied by a vision of a majestic blue phoenix.
As Oasis absorbed the sword's words, the phoenix merged with him, filling him with a sense of power and purpose.
"You are now my master," the phoenix declared. "Let us protect each other."
As the barrier enveloping Oasis began to fade, Sir Elias called out his name in shock, bewildered by the phenomenon that had occurred.
After the tumult had subsided, Oasis fell unconscious, leaving Sir Elias stunned and puzzled.
He quickly checked Oasis's condition, only to realize that the lad was merely sleeping, as if he had overexerted himself.
In his thoughts, Sir Elias marveled at the situation.
"Another breakthrough... this kid is a prodigy, breaking through twice at the same time, and he has already reached the first layer of the Foetal realm in just five and a half months."
He was shocked and surprised by what was happening.
Early in the morning, Oasis hastily awoke, breathing heavily.
"Relax, lad," Sir Elias offered him a bowl of soup with bread. "It's already morning."
Oasis spoke faintly, confusion evident in his voice. "What happened? I don't remember how I slept last night."
Sir Elias patiently explained what had transpired, but Oasis couldn't recall anything beyond unsheathing the sword.
Without pressuring Oasis, Sir Elias instructed him to start his meditation.
As Oasis removed his top to begin meditating, Sir Elias was surprised to see a tattoo resembling a phoenix on Oasis's shoulder.
"Lad, did you always have that?" Sir Elias asked, pointing to Oasis's shoulder.
Oasis, equally surprised, answered with a mix of shock and awe.
"No, sir. What is this? What's happening to me? Oh, no, my sister will kill me for getting a tattoo."
"This boy is truly a mystery... what is that tattoo?" Sir Elias wondered to himself.
Outwardly, he reassured Oasis. "Nothing to worry about, lad. It's part of your legacy. Continue with your training."
"Oh, before I begin, I wanted to ask..." Oasis hesitated before continuing,
"...every time I meditate, I feel something in the right side of my chest, as if it's beating, just like my heart, and I feel the flow as if I'm releasing magic."
"Wow, he's realized it... this kid doesn't stop surprising me," Sir Elias mused to himself before explaining to Oasis.
"Lad, I haven't told you about it yet, but the reason why you meditate as part of your training is for mana cultivation.
Mana flows naturally in the human body, but as practitioners, we need to cultivate it so that it's easier to use magic.
Mana flows via the mana veins and arteries, and it can be absorbed and released.
This process is facilitated by the mana heart.
Currently, your mana heart is still underdeveloped, meaning its function is limited. But for you to feel it is unheard of.
The mana heart fully develops as you transcend to the third layer of the Newborn realm.
