Chapter 119 - Chapter 119 Garp style

"Kai, Robin, where have you been?"

As soon as Kai and Robin returned to Cornis' home, Luffy eagerly asked.

"Nothing much, just found something interesting and couldn't resist checking it out," Kai replied with a calm smile.

"Ah? You didn't invite me! That's so unfair, Kai!" Luffy pouted.

Kai rolled his eyes and said, "You better get some good rest tonight. Tomorrow's going to be a busy day."

Luffy paused for a moment, then his face lit up with excitement, "You mean we're going to—"

Before Luffy could finish, Usopp quickly covered his mouth, and the crew exchanged sneaky glances.

"But we still don't know where Upper Yard is," Nami whispered, glancing at Cornis and her daughter, who were busy cooking.

Kai chuckled. "What do you think Robin and I were up to earlier?"

Nami's eyes widened with realization, though she stayed quiet. The rest of the crew also grinned, realizing what was coming.

After dinner, they thanked Cornis and returned to the Merry, eagerly resting up for the adventure ahead.

The next morning, Luffy burst with excitement. "Everyone, let's go find the gold!"

"Gold! Gold! Gold!" Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper danced in circles.

But Nami, looking a little uneasy, approached Kai. "There's barely any wind on the White Sea. The Merry can't move at all!"

"How about you use your cloud to carry us, Kai?" Nami suggested.

"No need," Kai replied confidently. "Today, I'll show you a whole new way to travel."

He stepped toward the stern, looked in the direction of Upper Yard, and then turned back with a mischievous grin. "Let's fly again, shall we?"

Everyone instantly realized what was about to happen. "No way..." they muttered, eyes wide with shock.

Kai slammed his fist into the sea with immense force, sending a shockwave through the water that propelled the Merry into the sky.

"AHHHH!!!" Their screams echoed as the ship soared through the air.

"Sugoi! Kai, how'd you do that?" Luffy asked in awe, racing over to Kai.

Zoro and Sanji, equally curious, came closer, eager to hear the answer.

"It's simple. Once you've mastered Armament Haki, you can create impacts like this," Kai explained casually. "But if your Haki isn't strong enough, the effect won't be as impressive."

The three of them stood, eyes wide with excitement. Even though only Zoro and Sanji had begun to grasp Haki, the thought of learning such a skill lit a fire in them.

Kai moved to the front of the ship, a smirk playing on his lips as he enjoyed the natural rhythm of the ship soaring and falling through the clouds. It was a rough but thrilling way to travel—far more fun than simply using his cloud.

He had been inspired by Garp, who used a similar technique to reach Beehive Island in the past. This kind of power was exhilarating.

Meanwhile, near Upper Yard, a group of warriors dressed in tribal gear was racing across the White Sea on skates powered by dials.

"Weber, do you think we can win?" one of the warriors asked their leader, a man with fierce determination painted on his face.

"We will win!" Wyper declared. "Upper Yard is the land of our ancestors, stolen by the Sky Islanders. For four hundred years, we've dreamed of reclaiming it."

"We've tried and failed many times, but this time... I have a feeling. Something's off. We need to strike now before it's too late."

Wyper's words stirred a fire in his people, their resolve burning as they prepared to fight.

Suddenly, a voice called out from above. "Shandians, stop!"

They looked up to see Gan Fall, the former Sky Island god, riding a large bird. "You can't defeat Enel. You'll only die in vain!"

"Gan Fall!" Wyper growled, his eyes filled with anger. "You're no different from Enel, both of you stole our home!"

Gan Fall's face darkened. To the Shandians, there really wasn't a difference between him and Enel. He had taken their land, just as Enel had.

But over the years, Gan Fall had come to realize that both Sky Islanders and Shandians could live together peacefully. This land belonged to everyone, not just one group.

However, with Enel in control, peace was impossible.

He knew how strong Enel was, and he feared what would happen to the Shandians if they charged into battle unprepared. "I won't let you pass unless you defeat me first!" Gan Fall declared, readying himself for a fight.

"Then we'll take you down too!" Wyper roared, aiming his bazooka at Gan Fall.

Just as they were about to clash, a shadow suddenly darkened the sky above them. They all looked up in awe, wondering what was coming.
