"God's punishment?"
"Old man, aren't you supposed to be a god? You mean you're gonna punish us?" Luffy immediately rolled up his sleeves, ready for a fight.
"No, no, no! That's not it at all!" Gan Fall waved his hands frantically.
He knew these people were way stronger than him. If he took a punch like that Sky Island guerrilla, his old bones wouldn't stand a chance!
"Your friend just said I'm the former god. The current god is someone else now!"
"The one who will punish you... is the new god—Enel!"
"He has the power of a natural disaster. Even though I know you're strong, there's no way you can stand up to him! As much as I despise him, I have to admit, he's the strongest person I've ever encountered."
"The strongest human, huh? Hahaha… Now I really want to meet him!" Luffy grinned, cracking his fists.
"You're right, we just perfected some new techniques. Seems like a good opportunity to test them out," Zoro added, smirking.
Gan Fall stared at them, dumbfounded.
"Do these people even know what fear is?"
He raised his voice, trying to make them understand, "I'm not joking! Enel controls thunder and lightning—the power of nature itself! No human can fight against that!"
"Controlling lightning? So he's a Logia-type Devil Fruit user, then?" Luffy's smile faded for a moment, and he went silent.
Seeing this, Gan Fall felt like he had finally gotten through to them. Yes, that's right, humans can't go against the forces of nature…
"Hahaha… That's even better! I've recently upgraded my Haki, so I'd love to give this 'god' a try!" Luffy's expression shifted from somber to excitement in an instant.
"Yeah, that makes it even more interesting," Zoro agreed with a grin.
Gan Fall: What kind of monsters are these people?!
After some time, they arrived at the waterfall cloud river. The sight of the cascading cloud got everyone excited again.
At this point, Gan Fall bid them farewell.
"Well, time flies. It's time for me to leave you here. I've got to maintain the peace on Sky Island!"
He reached into his pocket and instinctively pulled out a whistle, the one he always used to call for help. But as he recalled Luffy's incredible strength, he quickly put it back, realizing the absurdity.
Just kidding! If these people can't handle something, there's no way he could save them! He'd be toast!
"Hey, old man, can you give me a Impact Dial?" Kai suddenly asked.
Gan Fall was surprised by the request, but after spending a bit of time with Kai, he wasn't too shocked anymore. This young man was mysterious, knowing so much about Sky Island.
But how did he know I had an Impact Dial… Wait a minute!!
Why does this kid know I used it before? Gan Fall felt a chill run down his spine. If he knows that, does he also know what color underwear I'm wearing?!
At that thought, Gan Fall visibly shuddered. Nope, I'm out of here! This is getting way too uncomfortable!
He tossed the Impact Dial to Kai, then took off into the sky with his bird companion.
"Do I owe you anything for it, old man?"
"Keep it!"
As Gan Fall flew off, Kai smirked. He had remembered that the old man carried this useful device.
Although the Impact Dial wasn't of much use to Kai, it would be a huge help for Usopp and Chopper. If used properly, it could significantly boost their strength!
"Kai, why'd you ask the old man for a shell? Are you planning to raise pearls or something?" Chopper asked curiously.
It was only natural for Chopper to associate shells with pearls. After all, he's a reindeer, so being fascinated by shiny things wasn't unusual.
"This is way more fun than raising pearls!" Kai replied with a sly grin.
"Really?!?" Chopper's eyes sparkled with excitement.
(☆▽☆)!
"Here, give this shell a punch!" Kai instructed, pointing the absorbing side of the Impact Dial towards Chopper.
"Me?" Chopper hesitated, then gently pressed his hoof against it.
Kai: . . .
"Use your enhanced form and hit it with everything you've got!" Kai said, exasperated.
"Won't I break it?"
"No way, not with your strength!"
Chopper's ears twitched, and his eyes narrowed in annoyance, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.
"Kai, don't underestimate me! You think I can't break a shell? Watch this!"
With that, Chopper transformed into his Heavy Point and delivered a powerful punch to the shell in Kai's hand.
"Bang!"
A dull sound echoed, and the punch looked impressive!
But…
"Wooo~"
"Chopper couldn't even break a shell!" Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji waved their hands dismissively, unimpressed.
"Shut up, you idiots!" Chopper growled at them, baring his teeth.
Then he looked up at the sky, his eyes brimming with tears. Am I really that weak? I couldn't even break a shell with a full-strength punch...
"Hahaha… Don't worry, Chopper. Since I said you wouldn't be able to break it, there's a reason. You're actually pretty strong!" Kai reassured him, his voice serious despite his grin.
"Hm? Really?" Chopper's spirit instantly revived upon hearing that.
"Kidding!"
(⊙o⊙)...
"Kai, you jerk…!" Chopper yelled, but his mood had improved.
Kai finally stopped teasing and held up the Impact dial, explaining to everyone:
"On Sky Island, Dials are a big deal. They have all sorts of dials with unique abilities."
"This one's called an Impact Dial. It can absorb any impact and release it later!"
"The punch Chopper just threw is stored in this shell now. So… anyone want to take a hit from Chopper's full strength?"
He looked around at Luffy and the others with a mischievous grin.
"No way! Chopper's punches are too strong, I couldn't handle it!" Luffy said quickly.
"Yeah, Chopper's really strong. I wouldn't want to take that hit either!" Zoro added.
"You should save something like that as a secret weapon. Use it in a critical moment to catch an enemy off guard. They won't see it coming when they get hit by one of Chopper's punches," Sanji said seriously.
ヾ(≧▽≦*)o!
"Ahaha…" Chopper giggled shyly at their praise. Then, trying to be modest, he added, "I'm not that strong, really. I'm still a little weak!"
Everyone: . . .
Kai: It must be nice living in your own little world, Chopper!
