"Is that a sea?" Usopp suddenly exclaimed with excitement.
"Since it's the sea… then I'm going to explore it!"
With that, Usopp leaped up energetically, only to be swiftly kicked back by Kai. He tumbled around the deck a few times.
m9( `д ́ )!!!!
"Kai, what are you doing?" Usopp stormed up to Kai, fuming.
"Do weaklings have no rights? Can't they even have a bit of fun?"
"Are you sure you want to play?" Kai glanced at him coolly.
"This is high in the sky. Are you certain you'll be able to get back up if you go down?"
...
Kai's words left a brief silence, and then...
"My benefactor, I am truly grateful!"
Usopp half-knelt, holding Kai's hand with both of his and speaking earnestly.
乀(ˉεˉ乀) get out!
"Chopper, have you spotted any islands?"
Luffy, bored, lay on the deck and called out to Chopper, who was scanning the horizon from the bow. It had been a while since they arrived here, but there was nothing in sight except clouds, even Luffy was starting to get tired of them.
"We haven't found one yet!" Chopper replied, then his voice suddenly rose with excitement. "I see a boat!"
"What? Where? Let me see!" Luffy sprang up and rushed over eagerly.
"It's sunk… it's sunk!"
Chopper's expression turned to shock and fear as he saw the ship had been sunk. His mood swung dramatically from boredom to excitement to terror upon seeing the shipwreck and realizing that the strange thing responsible was approaching them.
"Monsters… there are monsters coming towards us!"
Chopper turned to shield Luffy.
"It's true, a cow stepped on the clouds and is charging at us!" Luffy said, excitement evident in his voice.
"Luffy, look closely! That's a person!" Sanji said calmly.
"That's right, he's just wearing a cow-face mask!" Zoro added.
Kai: "It seems like someone's got bad intentions towards our ship!"
"What do you think? Who among us will take him on?"
Upon hearing this, Luffy and the others exchanged glances and then shouted in unison: "Me!"
In the next moment, they were stunned, then their heads clashed as they argued again:
"I'll do it!"
Seeing this, the three stared at each other for a moment, and then Zoro said calmly, "In that case, let's each rely on our own abilities!"
With that, Zoro drew his sword and launched a swift flying slash.
Sanji followed with a sharp kick, sending another slash toward the masked man.
Luffy, sticking to his usual approach, started with his Gomu Gomu...
The three attacks came quickly. The man in the bull-head mask was dumbfounded. What was going on?!
His face, hidden beneath the mask, turned green from the effort of dodging. Despite his best efforts, he could only avoid two of the slashes and was hit by Luffy's punch.
"Bang!"
Luffy's punch landed hard, making the man's throat feel tight and nearly forcing him to spit blood. Using the force of the blow, he retreated, clearly having no intention of fighting further.
Despite their brief encounter, he knew he was no match for them. It was better to flee and wait for another chance.
Kai observed the retreating figure and murmured, "Wyper from Shandia?"
"Kai, what are you talking about?" Nami asked, curious.
"Nothing!" Kai shook his head with a smile and turned his attention to the arguing trio.
One claimed credit for hitting the target, while the others argued that his success was due to their support.
Zoro and Sanji had secretly mastered Flying Slash and Air Kick! Intriguing!
And if Kai's perception was correct, Sanji had awakened his Observation Haki, with his Armament Haki on the verge of awakening as well.
Zoro and Luffy were also close to their own breakthroughs and might achieve them soon.
Kai looked forward to their upcoming battle with Enel.
Honestly, Enel in the original story was quite unfortunate, defeated by the plot long before he should have been, much like Crocodile.
Why confront Enel?
Absolutely! Firstly, the Golden Land interests everyone, and secondly, Kai is very curious about the Thunder Fruit.
There's an idea he's had for a while but never tested. With test subjects available now, he has no reason not to try!
Shaking off these thoughts, Kai looked at a particular cloud in the sky and said lightly:
"We've almost finished the show. Don't you think it's time for you to come out and reveal yourself?"
"Huh?" The others paused and looked at Kai with curiosity.
Kai didn't elaborate, continuing to watch the cloud.
"Grumble!"
A strange noise sounded as an old man in knight's armor, holding a knight's spear and wearing a cloak, descended from the sky riding a pink bird. He landed slowly on the railing of their ship.
"Who are you?" everyone asked, puzzled.
"I am a Sky Knight!" The old man introduced himself and then turned to Kai, asking, "Did you use the Heart Net to find me?"
"Ah! That's right!"
"Kai, what's the Heart Net?" Luffy asked, confused.
"It's the Haki of Observation. The residents of Sky Island refer to their Observation Haki as the Heart Net!" Kai explained.
"Oh~ So it's Haki. I thought it was something more exciting!" Luffy lost interest momentarily.
The old man was perplexed by the crew's reaction. The Heart Net was considered advanced on their island, and only a few mastered it!
Why did these people seem to know it so casually, like the clouds?
However, he picked up some information from their words and asked, "Are you from the Blue Planet?"
"Uncle, what's the Blue Planet?" Nami inquired, intrigued.
"The Blue Planet is what we call the sea beneath the clouds!" The old man replied, with Kai adding:
Instantly, everyone's attention shifted to Kai.
Nami asked with a smile, "Didn't you say you didn't know anything about Sky Island? How come you know so much now that we're here?"
"Don't tell me your memory has to be triggered by visiting a place!"
Kai:!!!
