"Katelynn, you're not really seeing me. That's not real!"
"Even if it's you standing here, Lieselotte, you can't hide the fact that you just left without a word!"
"Katelynn, I know you can't forgive me, but I—"
"Please, just stop. I'm trying to find some peace."
With that, Katelynn shook Lieselotte's hand off and grabbed her bag, heading for the door.
Lieselotte's hand hung at her side, a lonely silhouette casting a shadow on the carpet.
On the way back to the hotel, she walked like that, her head still spinning from the alcohol. The wind tangled her hair, the scent of wine clung to her, rushing up her throat until she suddenly heaved. She leaned against a nearby pole, desperate to fight back the nausea.
Then, out of nowhere, the blue coat reappeared. It enveloped her, but she couldn't resist, even as her stomach churned like a storm.
"Go away, I just want—"
