Chapter 1 - The Misunderstanding

Alice Heathered, a sixteen year old Angel who's job is a Guardian Angel. Everyday was peaceful and normal, watering the plants, play with the sky animals and feed them, protect the people, and have a happy day. Everything was normal until...

Alice finished her job protecting her person and flies back to heaven, she was heading to her room, but, then Gabriel calls out for her, "Alice, I need to talk to you." he asks, his expression serious. "what is it, Gabriel?", she questions to him. "look, an intruder has been going in and out of heaven." his voice is dead serious.

"an intruder?!" her eyes widen as she heard what he said, "what are we gonna do? If the intruder is a demon then we have to find-" she gets cut off by Gabriel, "no, it would only alarm the other angels, we don't need chaos to happen in heaven. So, we need to stay calm and find this demon."

"demons are really manipulative and powerful, worst of all, they can shapeshift, so I suggest you to stay safe and low. We don't want them to know that we know that they're here." he explains quietly as his eyes darted around to check if anyone is eaves dropping on the conversation. She nods as she understands, "I understand, did you tell the Guardians of the Gate, yet?". "no, but, don't tell them, the demon might be disguised as one of them. So, come to me if you see anyone unfamiliar or suspicious, alright? Don't tell anybody about this."

She nods again and Gabriel leaves, she stands there for a moment before sighing and going to her room to rest.

Once she got to her room door, she turned the handle and came in, closing the door behind her.

She sits at the edge of her bed, deep in thought. Her mind was full of questions. "how did a demon get in heaven?" and "how will I figure out who's the demon? Demons are pretty smart at disguising...". She then lays down on her bed and stares at the ceiling before closing her eyes, falling asleep.

[the next day]

Alice woke up at 7:43, she gets up from fer bed and to her bathroom, opening the door and closing it behind her. She looked at herself in the mirror and washes her face before heading back out. As she exits the bathroom, she heads to the door and open it, the fresh wind and beautiful scenery greeted her as she walked out, other angels were talking or doing their jobs.

She smiles as she looks around, her gaze falls on an unfamiliar Angel talking to Alayaziyan, the Seraph, she thought nothing about it was wrong at first as she thought it was a new angel. After a few hours of work, she returns to heaven only to see the Seraphs and Angels glaring at her, almost like she did something wrong.

"huh? What's wrong?.. Did I do something?..." she asked them, but they just gave her a glare of disgust and dissapointment. One of the angels, Jenraff, spoke up. "be quiet, demon. stop trying to act like one of us, we know it's you." he says with a disgusted glare.

"demon?!"

She thought, her eyes widening in surprise.

"wait, hold on... Guys, I'm not a demon, I swear!" she tried to convince them that she wasn't the demon, but nobody believed her. As her eyes met with the unfamiliar Angel, she saw that the unfamiliar angel was smirking.

Jenraff and other angels yelled, "GET THAT DEMON!!", over and over. The angel guards charged at her, as well as the nearby seraphs. She tries to fly away from the guards and seraphs, but a few seraphs caught up to her and blocked her way. "please! Believe me, I'm not the demon!". She pleaded, not wanting to be killed for a misunderstanding.

"no one believes you, demon. so now... You shall die!" the seraph, Alayaziyan, said loudly, Enough for a few angels to hear. The guards now catches up to them. "please, just listen to me! I'm telling the tr-" before she could finish, one of guards suddenly grabs her neck and slams her to a nearby pillar, the pillar breaking slightly. "enough with those lies, demon!" the guard yelled at her.

She spots Victoria in the crowd of angels, her eyes silently pleading for help, but Victoria didn't do anything and just stared back. The guard then throws her to the ground, everyone is looking at her with disgust, dissapointment or even fear. All except Victoria, standing there and simply staring. Victoria knew if she were to help Alice, they would be outnumbered and get thrown out, or even die. Alice lays there silently, bleeding from her mouth. One seraph, Jankons, grabs her and throws her down to hell. The crowd of angels gasped in shock or surprise, meanwhile, with Alice, she actually missed the portal to hell and is sent falling to earth.

She tried to control her wings and fly to land safely, but the wind is too strong, making her turn backwards, her back facing the ground. Tears appear in her eyes as she falls, she eventually hits the ground hard. A crater around her body, surprisingly, she survived. She weakly sat up, looking around, just to find herself in the Xio-han forest, where Mystical Creatures live. She stands up slowly, her body aching from the fall. Her halo and wings turned slightly black, probably because she turned into a fallen angel.

She wandered around cautiously, taking a step of caution. She felt like someone was watching her, she turned around just to see the unfamiliar angel. "wh-... What are you doing here?.." she asks, surprised. The unfamiliar Angel smirks and her horns and tail appear, the halo and wings were fake. Alice took a step back in surprise and fear, the unfamiliar Angel was actually the infamous demon, Lily Merryn.

" well, well, well~ looks like the little angel fell~" Lily chuckled as she grabs Alice close. "!... Wh-what do you want!?" Alice said with panic in her voice as she pulls her arm away from Lily's grasp. "nothing~" Lily spoke with Cruelty. "so now, tell me your name." Lily Demanded.

"I-uhm.. A-Alice Heathered..." she gulped as Lily came closer, "Alice, hm? Quite an interesting name. Well, as you already know me. Lily Merryn, the infamous Demon who brings Angels to hell, but it seems like their accuracy was a bit mid-off, I mean, really off."

"uhm... That is true but..." Alice backed up, "personal space please?" she asks kindly. "ohohoh, polite also. But, not going to back off. So, consider yourself targeted by other demons in this earth." she exclaims, getting closer. "o-other demons?..." Alice looked and sounded confused. "the humans obviously, they are harming their own planet, plus don't get me started on their wars, killing minds and whatever else that's a sin. Anyways, I need to go." Lily explained, backing up from Alice, "huh? Wait a minute!-" and poof, Lily was now gone, teleported away.
