Standing there, after it all, Aeric listened to the silence. The river splashing in waves and the leaves of the crimson leaves moving softly.
He had just challenged his father, the God of Erothyria. He had just threatened to steal his wives and Daughters to his face.
Aeric was not sure how smart of a move that was, but what he was certain of was that he had created for himself a shield. If his father saw him attempting to seduce the Mothers and Daughters of Erothyria, he would be suspicious of the reason and that could lead to his plans being discovered.
But now that he had hidden his true agenda under the guise of giving birth to his own children, or simply to scorn his father, there would be no more searching for his actual motive.
His plans were safe.
As for the Messengers, the fairies and the other loyal disciples who Eros promised to send after him, he would deal with them later.
Ding!
