Chereads / The Only Son Amongst The Daughters Of Eros / Chapter 3 - The Kingdom of Erothyria

Chapter 3 - The Kingdom of Erothyria

Erothyria was a world, a kingdom challenged by none other in existence.

It was woven from the threads of divine power, magic and mortal existence. It was a world of peace, love and passion, and the elements themselves were shaped by the hands of the God, Eros. While each region was ruled by his wives, the goddesses.

Erothyria was divided into five main regions, and they were all different in their landscape, culture, and magic: the Moonlight Region, the Dawn Region, the Twilight Region, the Starlight Region and the Elysium Plains.

At the center of it all stood the grand palace of Eros, the heart of Erothyria, which was surrounded by the Elysium Plains.

The Moonlight Region was located in the north, under a sky perpetually illuminated by the soft glow of an ethereal moon. In this land, there was serenity and tranquility.

The landscapes were cool, nightly and beautiful, and the stars shone with a clarity unmatched in any other part of Erothyria.

In the forests, there were trees sprouting the enchanted moon flowers shimmering like silver under the moonlight, and the rivers flowed with water so clear it seemed otherworldly.

This Moonlight Region was ruled by Mother Selene, the first and most revered wife of Eros. She was elegant and wise, known for her stern rule and icy demeanor, embodying the quiet strength of the moon.

But even more than that, Queen Selene was known for her voluptuous body and her pristine, pale skin.

Her powers were tied to the moon—healing, illusions, and protection spells that kept her realm safe and harmonious.

She had three daughters, Daughters Luna, Aryanne and Melina who played their parts in the governance of the Moonlight Region. Even though they had inherited their mother's beauty and bountiful feminine build, they all had separate powers rooting from the moon itself.

To the east, where the sun never set but instead bathed the land in an eternal golden light, lay the Dawn Region. A beautiful realm it was, full of vibrant life and golden fields stretching as far as the mere eye could see.

There was nothing in the Dawn Region that the sun did not touch. It nurtured everything, the bright forests, the towns constructed with white stone, and the castle where Mother Aurora, ruler of the Dawn Region resided.

Aurora was the second wife of Eros, and she was a goddess as radiant and energetic as the sun itself. She always had a bright smile on her face. She was nurturing and optimistic, always encouraging growth and life in her domain.

Her powers were tied to sunlight, allowing her to wield fire spells, bestow life-giving abilities, and manipulate light to her will.

Aurora had four daughters; Daphne, Elara, Celestia and Meira. Each of them also had powers that stemmed from the everlasting sun in their skies.

The west housed the region where day and night met in a perpetual twilight, this was the Twilight Region.

It was a mysterious and shadowy land, where shadow magic was strong and the landscape was bathed in hues of violet and indigo. The forests were dark and dense, with owls and ravens and whispers of shadow spirits.

Mother Lylah, the third wife of Eros ruled this region. She was the enigmatic goddess of dreams and the night, her powers were woven into the fabric of the Twilight Region.

Lylah could manipulate shadows, control dreams, and bend reality to her will, making her one of the most feared and respected of Eros's wives.

Lylah's daughters were Erebelle, Nyx and her twin sister, Nyssa. All three also had powers actualised from shadows and darkness.

At the center of Erothyria lay the Elysium Plains, a vast and fertile region that was the heart of the kingdom. It was filled with fairies, the main disciples of Eros.

The plains were a place of eternal spring, where flowers bloom year-round, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blossoms. It was ruled by Mother Aphra, the fourth wife of Eros and her six daughters, Faeryn, Faelys, Phoebe, Cecilia, Linnette and Cassandre.

Their powers were tied to the natural world, controlling verdancy and ensuring the eternal bloom of the plains.

Finally, in the south was the Starlight Region where both day and night occurred at separate intervals.

It was the most populated of all regions and was filled with towns, villages and forests. But because of this population, it was here that magic was weakest. The Starlight Region was ruled by Mother Guinevere, the fifth and final wife of Eros, who had the powers of elemental manipulation, controlling fire, water, earth, and air.

Guinevere was a goddess of the people, kind and innocent in nature, though looked down upon by the other wives.

Her daughters, Misty and Rosette also had similar powers of elemental control.

The reason Mother Guinevere was looked down and envied by other mothers was because of Eros himself. He had made it quite clear that Mother Guinevere was his favorite.

First, he let her rule over the most populated and most powerful of all Regions except in terms of magic, and he continued to pamper her by answering all of her needs, even though she had given him the lowest number of daughters!

It was clear that there was something that Mother Guinevere had that the other Mothers didn't which made Eros so drawn to her. Perhaps it was her innocence and her kind heart.

It certainly couldn't be her large breasts and rotund ass, Mother Aurora took the cake when it came to curviness.

Whatever it was, it certainly wasn't going to work anymore because what just happened was going to be the end of it. Eros would never forgive her for this, he would never look at her the same!

The midwives all gasped as they gazed at the crying baby in their arms.

"It's a curse."

"An omen!"

Mother Guinevere, her face full of pain, exhaustion and tears after pushing as hard as possible, looked at all of them. "What is the matter? What is wrong with my baby?"

One of the midwives looked at her with a horrified expression on her face. "Everything, Mother Guinevere."

Still in pain, Mother Guinevere tried to sit up, reaching for her baby. "What do you mean? Bring her to me."

The midwife still looked terrified. "That's the problem, Mother Guinevere. This isn't a 'her'."

Guinevere frowned. "What?"

"Your child... is a boy."
