Han takes a stroll along the aisle of the book shelves in the library. He checks his phone for a list of books recommended by Ta.
Yes, because of the revamp, right now, he is one of Ta's group members in the mentorship program. And, those books are for Corporate Management assignment. When everyone prefers using information and reciting articles from the internet, this bright and cheeky boy wants to touch those worn out papers from physical books.
As he checks those books one by one, his eyes capture a figure not to far from his spot. Han slowly moving, pretending to search for the book while his eyes still glancing towards the boy.
He's chatting with a girl, flirty mode.
After some time, the girl excuses herself to the book shelf, just right in front of him. Those shelves were in twinning mode, thus Han can look at the girl behind books subtly.
"Sorry baby, I was studying with friends. I'll call you later, okay?" Han blinks his eyes while eavesdropping the conversation. Later, she calls someone.
"Hey, yeah... It's me. Listen, if P'Tew calls, tell him that you're with me, okay? I know! You think I wanna stay if it's not for his money?? I mean, only idiot can stand that stupid Kim! He's so dumb to believe that I like him!"
Han shuts his eyes tight. This is one among reasons why he, sometimes hates people. Those leeches who loves taking advantages towards others. Kim might be a snob brat and pain in the ass, but this girl using love as her cover up just to have a good living out of someone's money... This is too much to be truth!
Han keeps eavesdropping the conversation between the girl and her friend before she leaves the shelf and walking shamelessly towards Kim.
An idea illuminates Han. He takes a brave step towards Kim and the gold digger.
"Ao.. waan jai... You're studying?" Han subtly slams books on the table and takes his seat across Kim and the girl. Kim looks at him, truly in shock. Especially when he heard Han is calling him that.
"What are you doing here?!" Kim asks Han, half angry. Han smirks as he glances at the girl.
"I'm looking for some preference for my assignment. I can't believe I meet you here..." Han gives the girl a look. A mix of flirty, filthy, and intimidating.
"Who's this, P'?" the girl asks.
"He.."
"I'm his boyfriend," Han answers, never hesitate even for a second.
"When did that happened?" Kim quickly revokes the claim. But Han calmly look at him.
"I don't know. You told me I'm yours when we hump each other on my bed, at my house. Did you forget that?"
"P', you are gay?!" the girl moves away from Kim.
"Oh, nope. He's bi..." Han grins widely. "In fact, actually, I don't mind if P'Kim is looking for a girl. You know, we love threesome..."
"I don't think that's a good idea!" the girl quickly packs her things. Kim tries to stop her but she dodges his touch, even stares at Kim with disgusting look.
"Aou, you're not joining us?" Han casually asks the girl. She swats him with a sharp glare.
"Nina..."
"Don't touch me, you dirty bastard!"
The girl leaves the table at once. Han laughs in tiny while watching the girl leaves the library in hurry. Then, he glares at Kim. The man is looking at him, fuming. His face is all red and for sure he doesn't look happy as well.
"She's gone..."
"Thanks to you!"
Han skims on Kim. He later smiles sweetly, a hand on his head and softly pats the older's head. Kim swats his hand away.
"Who gave you a right to touch me?!"
"Well... We did more than just a touch," Han stands up from the chair. He leans forward closer to Kim. Close enough for him until his nose almost touch Kim's nose. He takes out his phone and place it closer to Kim's ear.
Then his finger push the play button. The audio that he recorded before plays like as a background music, enough for only Kim to listen. Han's eyes lock gaze with the senior, not waver, not for once.
The audio playback stops.
"Tell me something, senior?" asks Han. Kim nods in tiny, face still gloomy and fuming.
"Would you rather destroy yourself in a meaningless way... Or, let me walk by your side, harmless, with good intention?" Han smiles.
Kim slams the table. He grabs his bag and leaves the room. Han shakes his head before following the senior from behind.
"Am I wrong, Senior Kim?"
Kim sighs. He halts himself in the middle of the library's compound space. Students enters in and out of the library, some watching their minor drama between them.
Han walks closely to Kim. Although he really wanna teases the senior, he still have a thoughtful mind and aware about Kim's feeling about their issue. This isn't a private place, so any conversation must be remain discreet.
"I must say, though I'm a jerk to you, at least, my feeling is genuine and sincere..."
"Why me? Out of so many people, why me?"
"I have my own reason..."
"I am a guy. You're a guy. Does it look appealing to you?" asks Kim.
"I found nothing wrong in it. It's my feeling towards you. I like you... Nope... I think I need to rephrase that," Han fixes his stances so he looked serious and honest.
"I love you, Senior Kim. And I won't lie about that," Kim gets shock by Han confession. He can't hide his flustered face.
"You're crazy!"
"At least, I'm sincere. I never ask for your money. I never fell for your looks..."
"Is it because we slept together? You feel guilty about that? Let me teach you a thing or two about one night stand," says Kim. He leans closer to Han.
"Never regret or feel guilty after that. You might develop a feeling that you might be stuck in and you will hate it. So, please stop feeling guilty. We both drunk and adult and... Crazy..." Kim smacks Han's chest with a book that he holds before walk away from there.
But, Han quickly grabs his hand and halts him from leaving.
"Ai Han!"
"I know it's hard for you. But, can you please give me a chance? I'll prove it to you, that I'm better than those gold digger bitches that you chase down like a mad dog!"
They stare at each other deep into their eyes.
"At least, let me be your friend. Treat me nicely like a friend. From there, you can make a choice. Stay, or leave. But, you have to give me a chance. I know you won't promise only good things. But, I wanna walk beside you in any way possible; good or bad,"
Kim grits his teeth. Acknowledging Han's sincere feelings, he feels torn apart. The boy isn't that bad, to be honest, he is better, way much better than any girl that he knew before.
But, he is confuse with this new feeling. A relationship with a man? After chasing pussies for almost a life time as Kim Rachtawin Than, this is too much for him to digest.
"You wanna walk ups and downs with me? Are you sure?" asks Kim.
Han nods in tiny.
"Fine. Wear a seat belt and prepare yourself," Kim pulls his hand away. He leaves Han, grinning like crazy in the middle of the compound.
"Thank you, senior!"
Instead of replying to Han, Kim flashes his middle finger.
Let see if you can handle me, kid!
