Chapter 2: The Enchanted Forest
Alex's early years were spent within the protective walls of the castle, surrounded by the lush, enchanted forests of Aranthia. His parents, both skilled in the arcane arts, taught him the basics of magic and survival. From a young age, Alex showed an extraordinary aptitude for both.
By the age of three, Alex could already manipulate small objects with his mind, a skill that both amazed and frightened the castle staff. One day, while exploring the castle gardens with his mother, Alex encountered a creature he had never seen before. It was a small, dragon-like being with shimmering scales and eyes that glowed with an inner light. The creature seemed to be drawn to Alex, and the two quickly formed a bond.
"His name is Drakon," his mother explained. "He is a guardian of the forest, and it seems he has chosen you as his companion."
